Moving is always stressful but Ashley and Anthony made it great! These guys worked their butts off and completed our move in less time than was estimated! Their prices are fair, they are punctual, professional, and safe. We were simply moving across town however, they got the job done quickly. I would highly recommend.

Ashley and Bobby were awesome! My wife and I were moving across town and needed some help to move larger items. I called Abby and Sons on Tuesday and chatted with Lauren about how they could help us. The very next Sunday Ashley and Bobby showed up on time, and moved our entire apartment across town very quickly, and without any problems. I am impressed by the professionalism and how they worked. I would recommend Abby and Sons anytime, and will use them again without a doubt.

Would use again! I am very picky about my stuff (who isn’t) And abba and sons did a great job showing care and respect for my stuff. I read all the reviews and agree they may not be as fast as other companies they were careful and helped put things together, and took the time needed the move properly. I never once felt I didn’t get my money’s worth. I actually moved with my 3 children (6months, 2yr, 7) and I wasn’t stressed out! Shocking for me but I often found myself relaxing and playing with the baby while they did everything. I didn’t have to micro manage like In past moving situations.

This was my first time renting a moving company. I was blow away at how fast they worked. They put everything back together that they took apart, they even put the items, boxes and furniture right where i needed them to go. They where very careful with our items and furniture. The team of guys that we got where AMAZING! Keith, Ashley and Anthony were super friendly and very professional. i would highly recommend this company to anyone that is moving. They made the moving experience fun and fast!

This company was recommended to me by the person who lived here previously and I’m glad I went with them. Al and Anthony did a good job and were pleasant to work with.
I almost didn’t use this company because of previous reviews complaining of slowness. It’s true that they don’t race around, sweating and straining. They are careful of themselves, each other and your stuff. I even heard them referencing training they’d taken and encouraging each other to do things the right way. At no point was I worried they were going hurt themselves. This was a first with me and movers and I enjoyed their total lack of macho stupidity.
They have a two hour minimum and I figured they could easily finish in that time. They wound up taking an extra fifteen minutes but they didn’t charge me for the extra time. So for me it worked out fine.
I’ll be sure and use them for my next move.

Abba and Sons was phenomenal moving our large 4 br house. The team worked incredibly hard, took terrific care of all of our belongings and were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. The owner Zeev, the forman Keith and the entire team are as good as it gets. Thank you again!

My move was over two months ago and I am still not able to express how distressing it was. I hope all of the negative reviews will help you decide who you can trust to move your belongings. I had a family heirloom that was broken. When we tried — over and over again — to have our issue resolved all we got was promises from Mary and attitude from Zeev. I cried and cried over my loss. I wish I had called Zeev’s bluff when he said we could go to court to resolve this. I know I was in the right… when a mover breaks something they must repair or replace it with something of the same value. He did not want to replace my broken vanity because it would have cost more than we paid for the move (which turned out to be much more than it should have been because it was all mishandled and took far longer than it should have). A day does not go by that I don’t see my ruined vanity and wish I had chosen another mover. I truly wish I was able to say that there was a problem and it was handled professionally and courteously and we have closure. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

This is a response to the business owner’s response on 06/​03/​2014 to my original review on 06/​02/​2014:
1. I do not take it likely that you are stating that we tried to BRIBE you out of $ 100 not to leave a poor review. I spoke to Mary on May 20, she agreed that the foreman was in the wrong, apologized profusely and asked what the company could do to resolve the issue. I told her it would be good to hear what she had in mind. She said she wanted to receive suggestions from me. I suggested half of the fee. Mary suggested a refund of $ 100 as an alternative. I agreed. Mary felt like this would be a simple resolution and ENCOURAGED us to leave a positive review once the matter was resolved because as she stated, «my email explaining what had occurred the day after the move was so well written.» On May 29, NINE DAYS later, and after I had called and emailed Mary again, I finally heard back with a response saying the owner of Abba & Sons simply wanted to move on.
NEVER did my wife nor I suggest that we would leave a positive review in exchange for money. That is a blatant lie.
2. The move was 2 hours and 45 minutes… with me assisting the men the ENTIRE time for a 2-​bedroom apartment.
3. There are things that you commented on that I did not leave in my review. If you are concerned with my wife’s review, proper order would be to comment on her review. We had two different experiences with you and I commented on my experience — my wife left a comment in her review about the Better Business Bureau that you addressed in your response to me. Yes, you all have a review of «A» after 4 complaints including a VERY detailed review of irresponsibility on the part of the company from a customer.

I was hoping to leave a positive review. The owner, Zeev Kahana, was given SEVERAL chances to rectify that which he and his office manager, Mary, admitted were inappropriate actions and behaviors from their movers. They ultimately decided not to right their wrong.
(Sidenote: I failed to check their BBB complaint review prior to choosing the company. It looks like they have a history of ignoring legitimate complaints and not taking responsibility when they know they are in the wrong.)
Prior to leaving this review, we visited the business (no one was in the office which is in a deserted office building complex), emailed and called multiple times. The office manager seemed helpful, but it finally boiled down to the owner, Zeev Kahana, supporting the bad attitude and behavior of his movers moving slowly so that they could incur greater costs (there is a 2-​hr minimum fee at $ 89/​hr plus a one-​time trip/​travel fee of $ 89. Additional time is calculated in 15-​minute intervals).
Everything on the front end was GREAT! The office manager, Mary, assisted me with setting up a date and time. She quoted a price and was very kind and helpful. She also sent an email confirming the information.
Prior to the movers arriving, I packed EVERYTHING and my husband broke down the two beds and left the larger items (i.e. sofa, glass table, dresser, etc.) in the residence and moved almost all of the boxes outside to the curb or to the front room near the door so that we could save time.
The movers arrived on time and they did not manhandle my things. I was appreciative for this.
It was, however, VERY obvious that they were trying to run the clock up unnecessarily. I say this because my husband would wheel out THREE boxes on a dolly at one time and the movers would in turn put ONE box on their dolly and wheel it onto the truck. Additionally, on multiple occasions, the men were seen carrying one sofa pillow at a time. I addressed this with them and shared that it wasn’t acceptable to me. They said okay to me and then told my husband they could «unload the entire truck, put the items back in the house and leave.»
I called the office to report these issues while they were still moving. The owner, Zeev Kahana, indicated he would address it with the foreman, Keith. I called him back after the first residence was packed up and we were moving to the new residence. Zeev hadn’t called them as he said he would. He assured me again that he would call the foreman. After the items were unpacked in the new residence, I called Zeev back. Again, he had not spoken to the foreman and said the foreman would probably work something out to pay the minimum 2-​hour price (instead of the almost 3 hour amount). Zeev asked me to pass my phone to the foreman. I did and then the foreman quoted me the almost 3 hour amount. It had been a long day so we paid the amount with the hopes of working things out later.
After a detailed email outlining the problems and two subsequent phone calls with Mary, the owner, Zeev, decided it wasn’t worth his while to be honest and fair and reimburse us for the portion of time that was clearly wasted by the movers.
After having moved all over the country for work purposes, my husband and I have worked with many moving companies. This is not the type of service we are used to receiving. Quite disappointing.

Abba and Sons movers Anthony and Al were great movers. They did everything that I asked, didn’t question my Tetris-​master methods, and were courteous. Any female who has had a rough time with male workers in Tucson – don’t hesitate to give this company a call (and request these guys). The movers were efficient, professional, showed up on time, and finished on time – it was an easy day.

These guys did a great job. This is the second time that we used them and that’s because they did a good job the first time. Had one minor mishap but the owner was more than willing to make it good. They were on time, didn’t waste time. We had our stuff packed and everything disassembled and ready for them. So I can’t really tell you how well they would do if they came and did the whole enchilada (pack and all), but they were good for what I needed them for.

After a long stressful day Zev and his team came to my rescue! I found a guy on Craigslist who left me hanging and I was in desperate need for a few strong hands. After calling Zev, he offered me a really competitive rate.
It was very last minute, but he showed up exactly when he says he would as well as charged me exactly what he said he would. They are professional and they really did take my move personal.
I will never move again without calling movers. This was the most stress free move I’ve ever had thanks to Abba & Sons Moving Company. They were truly God sent. :-) There’s no way you can go wrong calling.

Ze’ve !!! You are amazing! We were totally not prepared for such wonderful service. Your company and your professionalism far exceeded our expectations. You went out of your way to provide packing and moving services that is not the norm in service oriented businesses these days. We would tell anyone searching for a moving company in Tucson to choose Abba and Sons. They will not be disappointed. They will have the best move of their lives. Take it from me, a Navy brat who has moved so many times. Abba and Sons is far and above the rest. Book him for your next move!!. You are certainly a breath of fresh air my friend!

Although moving is always stressful I found that Abba & Sons made it easy! I moved from Tucson to the Phoenix area and called only a week in advance and they were able to fit me in. Mike, Mike, and Steve showed up and although I had stairs at both places they never complained. I had some artwork that I had not yet packed and they took great care with everything. They moved my furniture to the exact spots I wanted it, sometimes I had them only move it inches, but it was heavy and I couldn’t do it myself. If they thought I was crazy they never let on. I highly recommend the company. I have moved at least 15 times over the years and this was by far the best. Thank you.

I recently moved out of my place and had no clue who to call since I was less that satisfied with my last movers. I took a few business cards from my storage unit and called the first one in my stack and went with it. It’s always unsettling for me to use a new service and to have perfect strangers touching and moving my personal belongings. I’m glad to report that the move was a success! Two young men arrived on time at my apartment and they were both friendly and ready to go! They needed little direction from me, treated all of my belongings with care and moved quite fast. The entire move took about 3 hours, including an extra stop to drop off items at my new place, and then the rest went to storage. I’, m not sure if $ 290.00 for this kind of move is a good price or not, but I do know that the experience and service was excellent and that’s worth any price. I’d likely use ABBA & Sons again.
