We had used Natalie’s service after reading Unilocal reviews and a referral fro a friend whose expectations are high. We me and discussed with her rates, services, timing, and communication around our rental. We liked the idea of environmentally friendly cleaning products. Natalie seemed to be honest and kind, so we proceeded. Honesty is valued when renting a place and not always being in the area to ensure that services contracted are actually rendered. However, we learned is that she is not very organized, terrible with email, and that the cleaning provided was mediocre for a much higher price than quoted. Being remote, email is a manner of communication that is important for us to keep track and be clear. After multiple exchanges where she appeared grossly disorganized and confused, recalled that she had quoted us differently, we decided to move on to a different service. We really wanted to like her business.

I found Natalie and Tahoe Green Homecare on Unilocal when I needed a cleaner last minute. Her website caught my eye because she cleans with environmentally friendly products which is all I have used for years. She called me back within 24 hours and got me on her crew’s schedule the following week just in time for a last minute visit from out-​of-​town family members!
Her crew was very professional and did an outstanding job!!! I appreciate their work and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

Natalie really knows her stuff and her employees use amazing cleaning products that are healthy enough to eat. Cool thing is they actually work really well!
Nat is also a certified holistic health coach so you can save time and money by getting your home cleaned and figure out how to optimize your health.
She is fair, organized and easy to work with and I would recommend her to anyone who needs eco friendly home care and even advice on their home, diet and lifestyle in the Truckee area!

I really wanted to work with Natalie since she seemed so nice and helpful through our email contacts! Unfortunately, it seems our home was not cleaned when it was scheduled to be cleaned which was disappointing for us.
Update to business owner’s response:
There must have been a mistake in confusing me with another customer. We did not actually own a home in the Tahoe area in July. Sorry! :) So no way we could have or would have contacted you 4 months prior to the review since there was nothing for you to clean at that point. Best of luck!

We started using Tahoe Green Homecare when we purchased our Tahoe Home in October 2014, and we are incredibly happy with Natalie’s and team’s services! In addition to their cleaning services, we also use TGH for welcome packages and damage inspection following our guest’s departure.
The quality of work, professionalism, reliability, flexibility, and open communication is TOP-​NOTCH. I couldn’t be more pleased with Tahoe Green Homecare and as a recovering «Perfectionist» who prefers to do everything herself, that is saying A LOT. I should also mention that we received feedback from guests at our cabin that our home was «Immaculate.» Music to our ears!
