Business Owner

Master Danny Jang is the owner and master instructor at U.S. West Coast Taekwondo in Tigard, OR and is a Kukkiwon certified 5th Degree Black Belt. Danny has been studying Taekwondo for over twenty years and graduated Woosuk University in Korea with a Bachelor’s Degree in Taekwondo.

Master Jang provides excellence in training every step of the way to help students reach their individual goals and beyond. He challenges his students to reach new goals that they have never thought possible.

We signed our son up at USWC Taekwondo Tigard more than two years ago, and he’s been attending at least weekly since then. It’s a bit of a drive for us, but it’s worth it! Master Danny and Ms. Alicia are wonderful instructors who are involved with the local community. They are both great with kids, and each class is packed with activity and skill building. If you or your kids want to try taekwondo, I highly recommend checking out this school.

Master Jang and Ms. Alicia are really wonderful with our girls. They teach kids about respect, listening, watching and doing, and also having fun doing it. They do lots of other group activities for family to be involved inside and outside the community! !! U have to come and look for yourself to get that feeling of Family here!!!

My daughter has been under the teachings of Master Jang and Miss Alicia for just over a year. Her self confidence has increased significantly and we continue to see positive changes in her attitude. She loves practicing her forms at home all the time and we have purchased several items for her to kick and spar with. She often asks me if she can stay after her class to help out with the next belt class coming in. It is all because Master Jang and Miss Alicia make the learning fun and are fantastic with kids. I would never send my child to anyone else, they are by far the best in the business.

My son has been working with Master Jong since he was 4 years old and absolutely loves it. He has a difficult time with focusing and controlling his energy and this program really helps him. He looks up to Master Jong and in turn, Master Jong really looks out for him. I really appreciate the values they teach as a core part of the program, and the fun that they infuse into the workouts.
My daughter started about six months ago. She is super shy and usually frightened by new things… you would never know by watching her in class. She brags about how she can learn new skills and is very vocal and self confident in class.
Master Danny Jang and Ms. Alicia Jang are involved in our community and our school. It has been a wonderful experience and we will be going to them for years to come.
