To Your Door is a mobile service that does hair, nails, and massage in the home, offices, or hotels. We can provide a team of top nail technicians and massage therapist for spa parties. Also, the technicians are qualified to do manicures and pedicures that are more difficult because of thickness or an unusual condition of the nail. The massage therapists are trained to care for the elderly improving circulation and eliminating stiffness from being in one position for extended period of time.

History

Established in 2010.

While going to beauty school I noticed that there were many elderly that had a difficult time with getting to the salon and with moving around and using the equipment. Also, it was hard on family members that had to wait while their service was being done. After doing some market research I decided that there might be an opportunity in the market of taking care of the elderly in their homes. In the past two years I have started getting calls from brides, executives, and families that want to provide nail and massage services in private homes, or in hotels.

Business Owner

I was a Flight Service Manager for Trans World Airlines in the seventies through 1992. The «good old days» when the airlines took great care of their passengers and trained their personal to anticipate the customers needs. I was with the airlines for 24 years and then sold real estate for 10. When the market crashed in 2008 I had to find a new way to make a living. I started in beauty school but decided that I was better qualified to run a business taking care of people with special needs. I was will trained in customer service and marketing. Both of served me will in my new business.
