This place was the least helpful eye care center I’ve ever been to.
1. They do not tell you of a new patient fee, which I have never had an optometrist give me.
2. They did a «special» eye exam without notifying me beforehand. Even though I was not notified of a fee, or that I was even taking a different type of exam, the charged me for it and told me that they don’t have to tell their patients if they see it fit.
What would normally cost me $ 40 turned into over $ 220 dollar exam. NOT including contacts or lenses. This was really difficult for me as a college student, and I probably would not go back for that reason.

First time visiting this eye doctor, I was able to book online, which was great and when I got there they already had looked up my insurance stuff, the doctor was super nice and they helped me quickly. Will definitely return.

When getting an eye exam most places will provide you an eyeglasses prescription that is good for two years.
Such is not the case here– your prescription will only be good for one year.
A waste of time and a waste of money– highly recommend going elsewhere.
Everything else was fine, beyond that bad policy.

I have seen many optometrists and Dr Carla Avruskin is the best. She is the only Dr that has every completely diagnosed the root of my vision problems. You can tell that she prides herself on her ability to solve and treat your vision. I am thankful that I have met her and been able to work with her.

We’ve been patients of Dr. Ogata for years. On and off we have seen other optometrists at his office. This year was my first appointment with Dr. Elizabeth Davis. Wow! The exam was very thorough and did not feel rushed. She was took the extra time to listen carefully and ask attentive questions about my vision. The resulting prescription was excellent. I would highly recommend her work!

My eyes are worse after coming here. There seemed to be some sort of mid diagnosis on my prescription. Also, thy charge an extra $ 80 if you have an astigmatism, even though it requires no extra work or tests. Not happy with the experience here.

Easy to make an appointment, staff was knowledgeable and friendly! I would recommend Dr. Ogata!

I was recommended by a close friend to see Dr. Daniel Ogata when I had a pressing optometry concern. I am very glad that I took his recommendation. I was able to be scheduled in for a same day appointment, and the service I received far surpassed what I had experienced in the past with my **old** optometrists. I was explained exactly what was going on and why, which I really appreciate. If you are looking for a new eye doctor, look no further.

I’ve been seeing dr. Dale Ogata and he is is so nice and friendly! Last Friday I saw dr. Daniel Ogata he explained every thing to me, and he answered all my questions in a simple way. Omg did I say that he’s so handsome !!
The clinic was clean, the receptionist was so friendly and professional, and I got a cute new glasses too!

I have been coming here for years and always had a great experience getting my eye exams. Today I went in and for the first time saw Dr. Daniel Ogata. He was professional and very thorough when determining my prescription. Awesome experience I would recommend him to anyone!

Jeff is angry, I get it. Having to pay $ 78 for an eye exam is a lot. Maybe next time Jeff will ask a business what it charges for a service instead of assuming it’s the same price WalMart would charge. I had a great experience here, Dr. Ogata was fast a and professional. I’m an extremely happy with the service I received and will definitely be coming back regardless of what Walmart charges.

I have been a patient with Dr. Ogata and associates for years. He and his staff are professional, friendly, knowledgeable and provide the latest equipment to screen for glaucoma and eye health. Dr. Ogata’s exams are detailed and I am especially happy with the bifocal contacts that he prescribed for me. I no longer need readers to see small print and I also have sharp distance vision!

Attentive and friendly staff. Been coming here for 3 years now. Ana Nguyen, the optometrist is very knowledgeable and detailed with everything, she took her time on my examinations. I really like her.

I’ve been coming here for many, many moons. I go out of my way to come here, despite moving kinda far away-​ish.
Dr. Avruskin is my favorite! Actually to be fair I’ve not seen any other doctors at this office, but I’ve seen a fair number at other practices over the years to have a frame of reference for the quality I experience here in comparison. She is very professional, friendly, thorough and attentive. I’ve always gotten perfect prescriptions from her. At other clinics I’ve had poor experiences that left me dissatisfied and feeling stuck with a mediocre Rx.
Staff is always friendly and facilities appear clean. My only critique is the sense of high turnover with office staff. Seems to be new faces every time I’m in, and the newbies (albeit friendly, and trying…) aren’t so confident with insurance benefits, which is plenty confusing and tough to master, I’m sure. In the end it seems to all work out…
This office always has samples on hand of my sort of unusual contact lenses so after each eye exam I get to actually leave with an immediate idea of what my options are.
I also thoroughly enjoy the ability to walk next door to select my eyeglasses at Lenscrafters after my appointment.
Overall I’d recommend Dr. Ogata and Associates.

We’ve been patients of Dr. Elizabeth Davis for over 10 years and wouldn’t go to anyone else. She is thorough, attentive, and listens carefully to any problems we have and then goes the extra mile to do what she can to help us. Highly recommended!

Way overpriced for an eye exam. They charged me 128.00 for a basic eye exam that it cost 50.00 for the same exam at Walmart. They didn’t do anything extra and it was about 5 minutes long. Biggest waste of money for eye exam I’ve ever done. My VS at least paid 50.00. But they did not make this clear before the exam. At that point I was stuck paying the 78.00 difference. I’m assuming they do business because it’s at Washington Square and next to Lenscrafters so they do enough business that people don’t care. This place would fail if it wasn’t for those facts. Avoid. At all costs.

This doctor was so thorough, I was blown away. I’m not used to it, quite frankly. Most offices just want to get your money and push you out the door. The staff was attentive and friendly. The doctor was amazingly professional and actually listened to my concerns. He ran ever test under the sun to make sure he didn’t miss anything that might give me trouble down the road.
I highly recommend him. I am going to make him my regular.
