My name is Mary Dalton and I have been a licenced massage therapist over 20 years now. I graduated from Rcks College in 1983 with my AA where I studied pre-​physical therapy. I opened up Massage ON the Go in 2002 where I was a sole practictioner. Over the years I have expanded and added rooms and therapists so we can meet the needs of our clients. We added NuSkin/​Pharmanex skin care and nutritional supplements to our service in 2003. We wanted to provide our clients with the best innovated skin care and supplement products around.

My name is Mary Dalton. I grew up in Southern Calif and was number 6 out of 8 children. We were a very close knit family who loved to sing together. I have always been interested in massage but never knew that there was such a carreer so that is why I focused on becoming a physical therapist. After two years of college I served an LDS mission to Florida so I took some time off school. When I returned home I married my childhood sweetheart and started our family. During that time I went back to college and received my licence as a Massage Therapist. We had 6 beautiful and talented children who all sing and play guitar and piano. My two oldest are serving missions for teh LDs church and my 18 year daughter is at BYU and the younger 3 are home with me and attend Tigard High, adn Fowler Jr HIgh. I have been a single mom since 2000 but with the love and support from my family and friends it has been a very interesting journey. I feel very fortunate to be a LMT and to serve you.

Great experience and great deals on massages and samples. But i was put off by mentioning my neck needing the most work and being avoided with more back massage. Also, the front desk woman knocked at the door, opened it after my massage therapist hissed not to come in (one of my legs being totally exposed at this time) to tell her her next appointment just arrived. Uhh.awkward.

My wife bought me a Groupon for Massage on the go and I’m glad I finally had the chance to use it. I booked my one hour massage with Shane and it was fantastic! I am a talker so I was okay with the small talk but if that’s not what you like be sure to mention it. I liked how not only was the massage relaxing but he also did some lower back and leg stretches which relieved a lot of tension I was feeling there. All in all great experience I definitely give Shane my recommendation.

This place is absolutely horrible. Mary, the owner, talked the entire time, except for when she fell asleep. Multiple times. She spent 30 minutes «massaging» my feet (even though I told her to focus on my shoulder) when she was actually just napping. There is no excuse for a masseuse to fall asleep during an appointment, let alone the OWNER. I almost stopped the massage because she was so terrible. The small time that she actually massaged me she was very rough and strained my neck. When it was finally over, she was basically forcing us to buy the massage package when we repeatedly said no. This lady needs to be shut down, do not go here.

I’ve had 2 90 min massages with Shane. He’s very, very dedicated, hard working and puts a lot of physicality into his massages. He was able to turn my big torso to enhance my massage results, impressive. If you want quiet during your massage, you should share that fact with him. Front desk staff has been wonderful on all occasions, very personable on phone and in person. The location is fine, clean, good sized rooms. The location is a bit distant from my home, but that is my personal challenge.

I had Shane for a 90 minute deep tissue massage because my body felt so knotted up. I also got a sampling of hot stones and a mixture of other techniques. He was awesome!!! So awesome I’ve already called to try and set up a couple’s massage for next weekend. I’d recommend him to anyone. I’ve been telling everyone who’d listen how great I feel.

Mary is dedicated to your receiving the best massage ever. Mary does deep tissue and really concentrates on releasing your sore spots. The bed is comfortable and warm. Mary’s hands know exactly what to do and move with practiced procedure. I have been receiving massages for years and some of the things that mean a lot to me is that feeling that the therapist is thinking about you and your body — not what they are going to make for dinner. When you are on the table, you can «feel» your therapist, and a good connection is important. With Mary, you are connected — she is thinking about you. Mary uses stones, oils, and everything she has to produce a good therapeutic massage. She is deep tissue, so be ready to release.

I want to write an update on the review that I have given. I had saved this review after that frustrating afternoon. And I stand by my review that I didn’t get a call till later in the evening from the owner.
The review was saved and somehow it got published. I had not intended to do it and I am sorry about that. I did get a call from the owner and I did go for the service after she rescheduled with her (the owner) being the masseuse. I had a good time.
I am leaving my review published with the update because I do want people to know about my experience.

Mary did an AMAZING presentation today on Aroma Therapy at Tigard Bridges Networking Group. Just a few little drops of her powerful essential oils can do wonders: from reducing inflammation to clearing sinuses to improving breathing to purifying the air. I have had wonderful massages and aroma therapy with Mary numerous times over the years. I have degenerative spine so a good massage is imperative for my back health. My Daughters and my Mother in law also go to her for massages. We started going after my daughters and Mother in law were in a car accident. We have found the experience to be very nice. And the aroma therapy has helped this latest bout with the seasonal allergies. I would highly recommend Massage on the go and Mary. I have always found the office to be very clean and the staff friendly.

I feel terrible about what I’m about to say because the massage therapist I had was genuinely very kind, and for that reason I will keep her anonymous. However, I ended my massage 20 minutes early because it really felt as though someone was lightly placing lotion on my skin for way too long. I get regular massages and this was not a massage. I think it’s important to inform new clients that they are placing you with someone that only does light relaxation, because many of us are seeking actual massage therapy. Another thing that bothered me was attempting small talk during the «massage». No offense, but halfway through my massage I don’t want to tell someone all about a tattoo I have. The last thing I’ll add is regarding the other reviews regarding the front desk staff. I thought they were just fine, other than hearing the chatter during the massage even with the music being louder than it should be. Oh, and very last thing, the room was very cold.

Unlike some of the other reviewers, i actually had a pretty good experience with the customer service. They were very respectful and great to deal with. I bought a groupon a few days before scheduling my appointment which went smoothly. The only hiccup was that they called two days before my appointment to ask if I could push back the appointment 2 hours because the therapist had person issues to handle and was afraid they wouldn’t make it back in time for the appointment which I thought was courteous of them and gave me enough time to adjust my plans.
Once there, the front desk was very nice. I had Shawn who did a good job and you could tell he really knew what he was doing. The only downside was that there was a lot of talking going on, which I can imagine some people like, but I would have rather not.
All together, the experience was fine, I got a good massage with relatively little stress involved. They have a decent operation going. But I would not be deterred by comments about poor customer service because I personally didn’t experience bad service.

I highly recommend you NOT go here! This is like a kind of skanky place without feng shui for sure, and no comforting atomosphere. I bought this in Groupon and what a mistake. I know what a massage and ‘spa’ experience should be like. I felt like it was going into a tatoo parlor. Weird creepy vibe, I agree with other reviewers. There was no comforting design, it is in a strip mall. I called to make an appt., then a sort of irritated woman called me at the end of their work day I think at least a day later. I never got a call back the 2nd time. Absolutely NO customer service skills! She sounded like I was bothering her. I should have known by that what the experience would be like.
My mistake was I did not check out Unilocal for reviews before ordering, i will give you that.
My BF finally got in after he had to call. His massage «just ok» he said. Not a very nice place he said. So disappointed as this was a special Xmas Gift and he never gets to do things like this. I wanted it to be special.
I went in and they said — they gave me the wrong coupon, it wasn’t free for 30 min like they had given him when he left. So, now I was being charged for what was supposed to be free?
I felt like it was one step short of Marge Simpson’s sisters the ladies who were in charge. I asked for a chair massage — I was stuck out in the middle of a hall — tho a good gal worked on me. There was extra office equipment lying around, there was no ambiance. There were people coming and going in and out around me, a dog running back and forth at my feet, another lady came up during the massage, the owner I guess and starting rubbing my other shoulder — it was startling and unrequested! And, interrupting.
It was a terrible experience! They upsold me hard at the end which was weird and confusing — I will never go back!

If you ever find the knead (little pun intended) to get the kinks out but do not know where to find a good massage look no further. I may be shooting myself in the now– I– won’t– be– able– to– get– an– appointment foot by sharing this good news but I appreciate this find and want you to have the same good experience. Because, come on, we have all forked over some bucks for a namby pamby mediocre massage so when you find one that really knows her craft you just got to share. It would be selfish not too. So if you are in the area or know someone else who could use a good massage you will be thanked to no end for this great information.
Ok here it is Mary at Massage to Go in Tigard Oregon. She is hands down the best at finding your knots and tight points. Mary has had over 20 years perfecting this art and she knows her stuff. The place is very clean, you get a private room with linens, relaxing music is playing the whole time and you can have them customize your experience to meet your desire. Like with a wide variety of therapeutic oils or deep tissue or hot stones. I do not know about the other massage people there because this was my first time at MASSAGE ON THE GO. But Mary is my pick. I came in with a neck full of headache producing knots and matching under my shoulder pain which she skillfully worked right out. Yep it was painful which is how I know it is working. But she asks you for feed back and adjusts to your Kneads. There it is again. lol

This was my first massage, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to, but I had a wonderful experience with Karen as my masseuse. She was friendly and personable, but definitely didn’t «share too much personal info,» as one previous reviewer complained! I have mild pain in my neck, upper back, and hands, and she was not only great at pinpointing those areas to provide relief, but she also gave me some stretching tips afterwards that I can do at work to help relieve the pain daily. I appreciated that very much.
The massage room was quiet, except for some nice instrumental background music, lightly fragrant, and clean. No complaints there.
I subtracted one star because of some scheduling issues. I wanted to schedule by phone, and I had to call four times before I got a pickup. That is frustrating to me, and, honestly, if I didn’t have a Groupon, I would have given up after the second call. After such a nice experience (and I still have $ 30 credit towards my next massage), though, I will definitely try them again.

The massage I got was pretty good but I won’t be going back because of the staff. The front desk associate was incredibly rude and not friendly in the least. Maybe it was me, or maybe she was having a bad day, but sometimes you just have to fake it. The massage therapist was also very pushy and trying to sell hard. Hard sells make me want to run in the opposite direction. I won’t be returning.

nope. I don’t believe any of this. Strangest, creepiest massage experience I’ve ever had. She shared waaaayy too much personal info. Lots of other stuff I won’t go into, but she fell asleep during my massage. Fell asleep. It was then I told her I was ready to go. I had to tell her 3 times before she would leave the room. I got up, got dressed and left — walked out. Creeped out.

So after I got stood up by the other massage therapist, I was a little hesitant to try another. What if it happened again??? Many I had called seemed flaky, not calling back for a long time if at all. Some would not bill insurance due to the trouble, but even with the notes insurance requires, insurance pays more than the rate you pay when you self pay. I have not encountered such flakiness with any other medical services.
I am glad I came here. Mary, the owner, is a great massage therapist. She took classes in physical therapy which really help with my particular issues post accident. She is skilled, gives you your full amount of time and is personable. She listens to your needs and if you wants to relax and not chat, just make sure you let her know. Every masseuse has a different style.
Another masseuse there, Leslie, really knows about tmjd because she deals with it herself. She knows exactly where and how deep to go, she’s unbelievably good for me due to her understanding of tmjd.
