I had never had my eyebrows threaded before, but decided to give this place a try. I am SO THANKFUL I did! She was so experienced, kind, and helpful. She took her time and even colored my eyebrows in while giving me recommendations for future care. I will definitely go here every time I visit. Thank you!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Worst service ever!!! Ive never been so pissed off! I have come a few time because its the only place in the area and most of the time i had to leave since they werent open during their business hours. What a f’ing joke pf a business. They should just close their doors for good. Tried hiving it another chance today and again i got there and it was actually open but no one inside. Couldve been in the back but no one came. I sat there for ten mon and left. Its a joke of a business!!!

I’m so bummed to have to switch my review over because I initially had such positive experiences at this place – aesthetically. But honestly I can’t give more than 1 star for a place that totally devalues customer service. After not 1, not 2, but 4 attempts to return to get my brows done here, DURING BUSINESS HOURS, the doors were locked and the location was closed early/“would be reopened at some random time”. I even called and was told once to come to someone’s house 20 miles away for a semi discounted price. What?!? Are you kidding me? All this and more makes coming to Bollywood brow a total pain in the ass if you’re coming 15 plus miles away already (from downtown Portland). I used to think the trek was worth it, but if you have a life outside of loitering outside this establishment, it’s best you look for another threading location entirely. I highly recommend Brow Bliss –real professionalism and accountability. If you wanna go here though, hope your day is completely empty.

I went to my eyebrows threaded just last week, I also got my side burns threaded. They lady was very nice, it was busy though. There was about 4 girls ahead of me. The lady was all alone so I’m guessing that’s why she was had her hands full. A few people got tired of waiting and left. But other customers came in after the shop was closed (6pm) and the lady didn’t say anything. But once 7 came around she started telling customers to come back. I thought that was right. It would be more convenient and respectful of they got a open/​closed sign. That would better so the customers know its closed. I even suggested it to her but she was just to busy and wanted to get the job done. So I don’t think she paid much attention. That’s the one thing that I didn’t like but besides that everything was fine. The location is pretty pink, it has plenty of room, it’s well decorated, and has a lot of chairs for people that are waiting. And Unilocal offers a 25% discount which I used. It was 18 for my eyebrows and 15 for my sideburns so the end total was about $ 28.50.
They have packages and they also offer discounts to students. I’ll probably go again :)

I’ve gotten my brows threaded at many places, but this place is the best one I’ve been to by far!
The place is tiny and I was a little skeptical at first, but the young lady who did my brows really knew what she was doing and listened to everything I had to say about how I wanted my brows to look.
I’m very pleased with the result and this is definitely going to be my new brow spot! Not to mention I got them done for $ 11.25

I went about three times to this location. The first time I had a great experience, the owner was so nice and she knew what she was doing. She also gave me great tips about filling my eyebrows in, she even filled it in for me! But the last two times I’ve been there, I got two different girls, the owner wasn’t there. The two girls were kind of rude and seemed like they were having a bad day, I wanted to leave when I saw them, but I didn’t want to be rude. The girls made my eyebrows super uneven, so I had to draw it in everyday… after the third time, I decided I’m never coming back again. The location isn’t very convenient either. I know I could always call and ask for the owner, but I’m a college student and never in town.

Had a fantastic experience here last Tuesday. I will definitely go back and encourage others. She asked me about the shape, explained what I had going on currently and gave a recommendation based on my face shape. She threaded them and trimmed them perfectly. Best browns I have had in a long time.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. My mom, sister and I have been going here for a year or so now because the threading artists do an ok job at cleaning up eyebrows in Portland’s limited eyebrow threading establishments. We got our usual appointment this past weekend and I specifically requested the owner Sajal (who has the most experience) for my mom’s eyebrows since they’re thinner and need very precise handling. We got to the shop and the owner had cancelled because of a migraine and so one of the other threading assistants stepped up to do the job. However, after the assistant did my eyebrows, another client showed up to the shop and asked for the owner. When the assistant explained that the owner can’t show up today because of a migraine, the client replied that she had spoken to the owner just an hour ago and she going to show up to do her eyebrows. Sajal showed up a few mins later and completely ignored us completely while talking to the other client and leading her to the threading chairs. The assistant kindly reminded Sajal that we were the two clients that had requested her earlier and that my mom would prefer if she did her eyebrows, but Sajal continued to ignore both us and the assistant. She sat the other client down in the threading chair but the client spoke up and said she should take care of us first since she had heard what was going on and we had been waiting for so long. At that point Sajal looked extremely annoyed and asked us if the assistant wasn’t good enough. I was SHOCKED at the way she treated us but explained to her politely that my mom’s eyebrows were very thin and I thought it would be best if she handled them. She did a very fast (and painful) job on my mom’s eyebrows, before turning back to her other client. This is my first one star review because I don’t believe in rehashing unpleasant experiences, but Sajal’s behavior was very inappropriate and I believe other customers should consider the type of service they will be receiving from the owner. I can see that the other reviewers have complained about the quality of service before and I wish I had read them earlier. OVERPRICED + CRAPPY SERVICE + MEDIOCRE EYEBROWS = DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

Quick, professional, and nearly painless. Sajel knows her stuff! I moved here from San Jose and I gave up on the thought that I’d find another threader who knew what to do like my gal back home. Sajel is a god send! My eyebrows always look shaped and prim after I leave. She is gentle without making me feel like tears are going to flood my eyes from my low pain tolerance. I look forward to going now! Her prices are fair and she also has a punch card system.
If facial hair is an issue for you and you have sensitive skin like mine give her a try! I guarantee you, you will be back again and again.

Unfortunately I’m going to have to change my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. This business has definitely gone down hill – FAST! I don’t get my brows done every other week (or very often like that), but when I did get them done here it was ALWAYS someone different! I never felt comfortable with that. They always came out looking great (for the most part). This last week was the last straw. I showed up on Saturday like I always would and there was some random guy working there who I had never seen. I am DONE! I can’t keep on just trusting these random people with my eyebrows that are sitting on my FACE for the entire world to see! I will be going to benefit brow bar from now on, and building a RELATIONSHIP with my brow-​stylist!

Sajel is an artist. She has a special touch that makes your eyebrows beautiful. Perfect angles and width. I also appreciate the dye that is applied to give my eyes a pop! As an added bonus, she does make up and henna. Her eyelash extensions look amazing and natural. Our family photo session utilized all her talents. Go. You will not be disappointed, but you will be addicted!

Used a Groupon to save $ 5 on eyebrow threading and really like what she did with my brows. Since I have thin brows at the end she added some pencil to fill them in a bit longer, obviously nothing she could do about that but pencil extend them.
No wait, quick service and I liked the results. Give her a try.

I went in for a clean up. My eyebrows are now too thin, uneven, and there are tiny scabs on the skin under my eyebrows from her repeatedly pinching my skin with the thread

Things you should know: I am Italian. I have tried all methods of hair removal. I have been fighting with my eyebrows for over 20 years. I have been converted. Threading is where it’s at. Especially for those of is who wax hirsute…(see what I did there?).

I called Sajal last week to make an appointment. She didn’t answer the phone at first, and when she finally did, it was not very professionally; it would appear the the business number is also her personal number. I tried to make an appointment but she doesn’t do appointments. She told me that I should try to come in today, that she would ‘most likely’ be at the Tigard location. It was all very vague and it made me uneasy, but I am going on a trip next week and needed to get in today. Had someone else had an appointment available, this initial experience would have made me book elsewhere.
I got to the shop at 10:30 (half hour past when the opening time was supposed to be) and it was locked and dark. I called Sajal and she was just (thankfully) in her car eating breakfast. She got out and opened up and I went in. This location is the barest of bones. Harsh lighting, a couple of reclining chairs and a cloudy mirror. But I pressed on.
She listened carefully to what I wanted and went right to work. 10 minutes later, (with my help holding my skin taut) she had transformed my brows. She then gave me instructions on what to leave alone and what to tweeze in between appointments. I LOVE what she was able to do. At the end, she shook my hand and told me the best days and times to reach her and gave me a punch card.
I am glad I gave her a chance, but I understand why other people wouldn’t. There is something comforting about a salon environment and that is just missing here at Bollywood.
But in the end, it’s the brows that count, and mine look fantastic. And I would recommend Sajal highly despite the shortcomings of the customer experience.

I have been searching for a threading salon since I moved out here 6 weeks ago. My eyebrows were in desperate need of some TLC. However, I wasn’t about to let anyone touch them unless I knew very well they did an amazing job. I chose this salon based on the reviews and of course, they were right! I called Sajal on a Saturday morning and she fit me in right away. I was a little scared at first because the lady I saw in San Jose, Ca was pretty awesome. Hands down, Sajal was a lot better. I think the string she uses is thinner and couldn’t feel a thing. She’s such a sweet lady and definitely knows what she’s doing. She did a wonderful job on my eyebrows and I will happily be a regular here. I do wish I took some before an after photos to show a comparison, but luckily my eyebrows will never have to be neglected as long as she’s around.

I prefer to get my eyebrows threaded because my skin is way too delicate for waxing (I always ended up with ripped skin). So I was beyond thrilled to find a threading location so close to where I live. I recently moved to Oregon from Philadelphia, so I had to go through the arduous process of finding new salons. Anyways, I am so so happy to finally find a threading salon that isn’t a 20 minute drive away!
I believe I met with the owner Sajal who did my eyebrows beautifully. There is also a punch card that is a «Buy 6 get 1 Free». I’m definitely going to be back and become a regular!

Seriously, go. And, get your eyebrows tinted. One of the best salon experiences I’ve had. I am so glad to have found my threading salon at last!!!

I remember when I used to wax my eyebrows once a month and I would always break out. One horrible experience turned me into looking like an over plucked chicken with super skinny brows at a salon and I told myself never again!
I decided to give threading a shot and I am so lucky to have found Sajal. She is one of the most professional and kind business owners I’ve ever met. Being extremely passionate about her work, it explains why she is the best of the best! She always keeps my brows very natural looking and that’s what I love most!
I’ve uploaded a before and after photo for you guys to see. In the after photo, she threaded my brows and tinted them as well which I highly recommend. It saves a lot of time in the morning for me as I don’t have to fill them in. It lasts about 2 – 3 weeks.
Lastly, the prices are very reasonable and she is always very accommodating when scheduling appointments. Try this threading salon out and believe me, you will fall in love like me!
P. S. She also does very beautiful henna tattoos which last about 2 – 3 weeks, I’ve also uploaded a photo of a peacock tattoo that she drew on my leg.

I never asked her to do it a specific way. She can just tell the best shape for you I think. I was impressed. She’s been doing this for 20+ Years so she knows her stuff!
