First time to go there and try the bubble tea. We were so excited to possibly have a good bubble tea place nearer to us than Best Baguette in Beaverton. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. First, they gave me the a flavor I didn’t order, then they were going to fix it by unsealing the lid and just«add in» the second flavor, the bubbles were very hard, and had a strange flavor to them. We hope that this is a result that they are just a newly opened restaurant and that they will work out the kinks in the future. We may give them another try in a few months.

Been searching for REAL Baguette and croissant since arriving in Portland and I’ve found it! The veggie ham sandwich is to die for! The baguette has a crunchy crackle outside and soft luxurious inside perfect for sandwich toppings. Also had fresh, delicious veggie spring rolls and perfectly buttery croissant and jam Danish both done just right. The staff is friendly and courteous, and yes, it was busy but to me that says the food is fresh! I’ll be coming back and bringing friends!

The baguettes tasted really fresh. Had the grilled pork, probably the best Banh mi I had in awhile.

I ordered milk tea bubble tea tasted exactly like coffee. I went back and asked them if it was a coffee or milk tea. They say it’s a coffee based milk tea. Are there any tea like that? I don’t think so. It tasted nothing like milk tea. It was coffee. It cost me about $ 4. What a waste. I would just go to STARBUCKS in front of them to get coffee.

The girl with thick eyebrows and black hair(not Asian) has a very bad attitude and is clueless about nearly everything. She kept making very rude expressions when I was asking simple questions since it was my first time here and I wanted to support a new opened business. Don’t work in customer service if you’re going to leave customers with a bad taste in their mouth. Um, not sure whether or not the girl just doesn’t know much about milk tea or something but when I ordered the original milk tea she gave me coffee milk tea… This was just an overall disappointing experience. The sandwich is «ok» though but not worth going back for.

Really new, so there was a little bit of disorganization, but once my food arrived, it was Amazing. Very delicious sandwich(I ordered the Asian Sweet and Sour Pork) and although I am not a fan of bubble tea, the honey dew I got was so delicious. Not too sweet and balanced well. Overall, I enjoyed my experience

Really nice, enthusiastic lady at the counter. The food was delicious. The baguettes are done perfectly. We went late, so I don’t know how they do during a rush, but they handled a to go order for four(where two kept changing their minds) with ease. We’re going back.

Bön Baguette is a wonderful mix of Vietnamese, French and American foods, infused to make tasty sandwiches. My husband and I liked it so much we went two days in a row and brought a sandwich home for our son. I had the #4 Asian Beef Baguette both days and LOVED it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We went the day they opened and felt the staff did a great job. The service was fast and our food was exactly as ordered. They had a special promotion for their grand opening that you would receive a bubble tea, milk tea or Vietnamese Coffee, we chose the Vietnamese Coffee with each of our sandwiches and it was great. The croissant pastries are perfectly cooked and delicious. We could smell them baking as we were leaving, which made us want more. The restaurant has nice ceiling tiles and the pictures on the wall are bright and cheery. The menu is easy to read. Overall, we had a great experience and will be back often.

So much potential and kudos to the hardworking staff dealing with the busy grand opening!!! Viet coffee was strong and perfect. The sandwiches are satisfying, bread is fresh and crisp! We came at lunch time when it’s most busy and people were lining up to take advantage of the free drink promotion. I was impressed with how well the staff were in working together with a smile of their faces dealing with the crowd. Our orders may be missing some parts(no vegggies in one), I truly believe they have a good potential to grow into a successful business that support our community. To all those who have been given this new place a bad review, cut them some slack! They’re new and are learning how to make the business run smoothly. That takes work, good support and constructive criticism from customers; not negativity.

My order of two coffees and three milk teas were, erm, lacking. If you’re going to put that little tea in, at least fill the rest of the cup up with ice. Despite the drink mishap, I can see the potential in this place; I’ll give this another try some other time.

I tried two banh mi, dac biet(#1) and thit nuong(#4). The baguette was crisp and the the meat was not terribly lacking in flavor. There was, however, no pickled radish in my sandwich. Everything seemed fresh and was quite decent. I also had some of there deserts in the display and macarons. I don’t know if they were bought or made there, but it was pretty good. It was very clean and I liked the décor. The staff was very friendly. It’s a new place but it is one of the better banh mi places around. Overall, I would go back here again because the banh mi was good for the price. Not omg amazing but pretty good.

I had the Grilled Chicken Ban Mi. It was very flat in terms of flavor and required assembly as they gave me all of the the veggies(excessive amount of pickled carrot and very little radish, two small sprigs of cilantro, and a few thin slices of jalepeno) in a bag. Having everything bagged together made the fresh veggies dull and limp from sitting in the carrot and radish brine. The sandwich lacked the usual fish sauce dressing which contributed to the flat taste since the chicken was bland and apart from the mayo and had no other distinctive flavor notes. The bread did have a crisp exterior, but lacked the bakery level of baguette texture. Reminded me of the ones you can get from the bin at Safeway. If you are expecting Ban Mi like you get else where, you will be very disappointed.
