Great experience at Thousand Oaks Powersports was I found to be one of the best places to go for great quality service and parts. I have been am very satisfied with the service and parts work they had done with my Aprilia scooter the service department does a very good job with repairs and especially Eddie in the Parts Department he gets a 5 Star Rating from me he’s Excellent Very Knowledgeable in all parts and repairs and very helpful with what ever parts or service questions I may have he is very friendly and professional and takes the time to explain the parts and how they function and what is best for my scooter performance I would highly recommend them for everyone needing scooter or motorcycle service and parts.

New Owners!
I can attest that the service from the previous owner of the Thousand Oaks Moto Guzzi dealer ship was atrocious. I had repairs done earlier this year because an idiot on her cell phone failed to see my bike in the parking lot — and ran it over (the bike, not her phone). Her insurance paid, but once I got the bike back from the dealer I started getting frequent and random service warnings. Very irritating. I took it back to the dealer who basically said that it was my problem not his. We argued for a long time, but I got nowhere. I could have taken him to small claims — but that’s a pain in itself. So I lived with it — and not happy about it. When it recently came time for a routine maintenance service I started researching where to go to actually get it fixed and found out that just weeks before (in October 2015), the dealership had been sold to Thousand Oaks Powersports.
I called and talked to Alex who asked me to bring it in so he could look at it. It turned out to be a difficult problem. But they did diagnose it and fixed it — at no charge — basically assuming responsibility for the mistake that the previous dealer had made.
I LOVE my Guzzi and this problem had me looking at alternative bikes, but now I’m 100% satisfied with the dealership and their now exceptional service.

In life, honesty and integrity are key. I came to this shop by recommendation from Piaggio, Italy. Yes, I called ITALY to get the BEST there. I was given a couple places to get my bike fixed. The first wasn’t an option because I was there to get an oil change and trans belts and check, I WAS OVERCHARGED! hence the reason calling Piaggio to find a trustworthy shop that will not take me for a ride.
I called the store and spoke with a guy named ALEX, he turned out to be the manager. I’m an energy person and I immediately clicked with Alex because he’s a GOOD person. I’ve been a manager at a high profile hotel before and was relieved that I would be in good hands. This review is coming from the heart, this store is AMAZING and EVERYONE in CA Must purchase their bikes here. I am very passionate about things I like and good business practices, this place has two thumbs up and then some.
I was quoted a VERY high rate to get my bike fixed at two different scooter places and was charged 50% less than other quotes because this shop is not in the business of screwing you over. It’s my first used bike and I don’t know much about bikes…
Eddie from this shop is a STAR too! Truly exceptional and he deserves a raise. I was blown away at the service and care. I honestly cannot properly articulate my thoughts here but THEY ARE THE BEST!!! Truly the best and the reason is because of ALEX and EDDIE!
I will let every person I come in contact with know this… I was so proud of the service I asked for a license plate cover because I am proud of this place and it’s my new spot. I live in Hollywood but the drive is WELL worth it because they are THAT good… I am asked daily where I got my bike, I tell them from a 3^rd party but I sure do recommend Thousand Oaks Powersports, hands DOWN!
I TOTALLY forgot to mention one Huge STAR there, Brian the Mechanic. Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for the service he provided for my bike.

Called 3 weeks ago to find out if they would repair my wife’s vespa 300 rear tire. Nobody answered and was told some one would call back. I am still waiting for that call. It looks like terrible customer service, considering I was going to have the scooter serviced for 2K miles also very soon. I might as well go to Sherman Oaks Vespa dealership.

A few emails, a few phone calls and a scooter was delivered, how easy can it be. We did the on line loan application. At 0.9%, why wouldn’t you keep your cash working? Delivery was on time and a thorough explanation of the controls followed. The scooter was clean, undamaged and had ¾ tank of gas. We are very pleased with the whole process and we never set foot in the dealership.

We did not buy from them because we are still shopping for a bike. They had a good attitude and answered questions honestly. Compared to other dealerships with high pressure, attitude and high cost. The prices of the motor cycles were clearly printed on the bikes and no hidden cost. Price + dealer prep + tax. They are a small shop not a corporate store like the BMW dealership 9 miles away which I am not impressed with. The mechanic took two hours out of the shops time to prep a bike for riding on a Saturday. This is a small shop that tries really hard to service you well. It is a great place for a women rider. They are very patient towards a new rider.

I took my 2013 vespa which i bought here in for service because it was running rough and the service engine light was on occasionally. they charged me for two hours labor $ 170 and $ 60 for an oil change for aa estimate of $ 230.00 before doing any work which I agreed to before the bike was serviced ($ 230 is their minimum charge). They found nothing wrong except an error in the main buffer which i was told had nothing to do with any of the problems. So I paid and two days later I was riding the bike up in the hills and it completely died on me which it never had before. I called TO vespa and spoke to the mechanic and he said wait for a hour and let it cool off and maybe it will start. I did wait a hour and it did start and luckily and i made it back to TO vespa. They said they worked on it for another two hours and found nothing wrong which i wasn’t charged for. Before bringing it in I told them I would buy another vespa and to get it ready for me. After talking to Monica who runs the store about the service problem being worse now than when i brought it in MONICA TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO ANOTHER DEALER and let them fix it. So I took it to Sherman Oaks vespa and Dave the owner who could not have been nicer said he would be more than happy to look at the bike and repair it for free which was very kind of him. I also bought a new bike from him that day instead of getting it from TO vespa. Sherman Oaks vespa found four different things wrong that TO vespa couldn’t find and now the bike runs perfect. One of the problems was when TO vespa changed the oil they didn’t put hardly any oil in. I called TO vespa to ask for my money back and «Lucky» the owner said absolutely not, we don’t give refunds. I did contact vespa USA and made them aware of the situation and they completely agreed with me about getting my money back. I am now taking them to small claims court to get my money back. DON’T TAKE YOUR BIKE HERE FOR SERVICE YOU WILL REGRET IT.

I saw a deal on line drove in from Pasadena on a Sat. I met with Monica. My credit was off and the original deal they had did not go through. Let me tell you! Monica went wayyyyy out of her way to make this happen! I ended up with a fantastic deal got the bike! I would highly recommend TO Vespa!!! It’s not often you find a little gem like this. Small businesses are the best! Monica was amazing, kept in touch throughout the process. Above and beyond! Thank you!

****Bad Customer Service****
Saw a 2013 kawasaki Ninja reasonably priced at $ 3995 due to the high miles 9.5k really excited to get approved, did my application on line went the extra mile and emailed all my scanned documents. Don’t hear from there no follow up nothing, called dealer they said I needed a co-​signer. Because if I took the deal a company that did approve ME, THEY wouldn’t make any profit off the bike. Tell me how that sounds right?
Mind you a week and a half has passed since they came to that conclusion and bs answer!
So I get my co signer to do an online application and guess what? No response, no call back nothing! It has been 2 weeks since then and I have not heard from them! Not once! Oh and did I forget to mention the changed the motorcycle price to $ 4997
I have a feeling they don’t want to sell me the bike because they won’t any profit but why do I have to pay the price for their mistake?

I have not used my Bike for a few Months as my back’s been giving me problems. It wouldn’t start. I called The folks at Vespa– Moto Guzzi of Thousand Oaks Wed (Christmas Eve) because they have treated me great in the past. No surprise, as promised, Corey called me this morning and is on his way to my house to pick up my Bike. I have full confidence it will be fixed at a fair price and in a timely manner. This is a GREAT SHOP to deal with! Thanks everybody!

After a frustrating 10 months of searching for my dream machine (Honda Goldwing), ironically I found a trade in at Vespa Thousand Oaks. Salesman Steve was patient and helpful, even went out with me (separate bikes) on a test drive. Though debt free with a great credit score, being a self employed artist equals kryptonite, and I have been repeatedly turned down for financing. Lucky is aptly named, as the financial guru, after much time and effort somehow made it happen, with an awesome rate to boot! Monica did my paper work and was most gracious putting up with my less than mature whooping, brain farts and shaky hands as I filled in all the applicable spaces. I am one happy camper and I am deeply appreciative of my experience with Vespa Thousand Oaks!

Went to these guys and drove in traffic all the way from the Long Beach area. My husband bought a Aprilia paid about 16K. My husband knew what he wanted when we got there, it was all planned out. Service was fine but when you buy something from someone and especially paying cash you would think that they would give you at least a T-​Shirt or something but no not them. They knew my husband was interested in the T-​Shirts and they didn’t have his size. (what I would of done if I worked there was just give him one.) No they offered him a 10% discount on gloves and oil that he bought. WHOOPIE!!!
Then I drove the car home and when I was almost home I called my husband before my exit to see if he was home ok. NO he was pushing the bike on a main street in a bad neighborhood in all his gear. They forgot to tell him that the bike had no gas. I called and told them as I was going to see if I could help him and the sales person said that they only put in a little bit of gas due to being a new bike. At least they could of told us. Then we get home only to find out that they also forgot to give him a owners manual. So we called again and yes they sent him a owners manual but for the wrong bike. I’am telling you that if this happened to me I would have taken the bike back.
They also send him a T-​Shirt. Ok Well guess what??? WRONG SIZE.
Come on guys get your shit together please. So BEWARE when you go that these guys are not professional and don’t know how to treat customers.

Nice selection of bikes and very nice staff. Very personable and very accommodating. No pressure and a very nice experience overall. None of the macho crap you get in some dealerships. I recommend.

Visited this cozy Italian bike shop to test ride the Aprilia RSV4 this past Sunday. Even though I live in the valley; which means an hour plus drive to Thousand Oaks, I decided to give this shop a try due to the great Unilocal review.
I had called the day before and spoke to Corey about the bike. I was informed that they have a near new ’12 RSV4 that I can test ride. I got the to shop right when they opened, all the employee were pushing out various bikes/​scooters to make room in the show room.
The test ride went well, and Corey and Monica both were very accommodating to all my needs and answered all my questions. I never felt pressured during the visit, which is a rarity among dealership nowadays. If you are in the market for a Aprilia, Vespa, or Moto Guzzi, Thousand Oaks Vespa would be a great choice!

Bought A Piaggio Fly 150 3V from these guys. The salespeople were great! No pressure whatsoever.
My son and I needed helmets… did they try to sell us the expensive ones? Nope. The found two extremely reasonably priced helmets and sets of gloves.
The scooter was delivered on time, 2 days later exactly when they said they’s show up.
Truly outstanding! Especially compared to the experience I had with the Audi dealer a few miles away a 2 months earlier… LOL!

No deal with me. Coming from the other side of the planet there was no connection. Local dealer only for scoters. Found something down the road with another dealer who were keen for a sale.

Wow! Finally decided to pull the trigger and go for 2013 Aprilia SBK. Negotiated the price with Lucky over the telephone. He said to come on down and that I would not be disappointed. He was correct. What he quoted on the phone was true and even received 500 in store credit. Monica is very knowledgeable in motorcycles, she knows her merchandise and all of the accessories. Thanks everyone for making it so easy!!!

Place is awesome! I was looking for the ever-​so-​elusive Moto Guzzi V7 Racer. I was placed on a waiting list by Monica, and was told that it would be in around a week. One week later I get a call from Monica saying it’s in! I went down and test drove it, and bought it. Monica was really helpful and cool to deal with, even got a better deal through the lender they used! Nick was also super cool!
Monica even led the way on the test drive ripping up the street in her Vespa 250!!!

I tried to do business with TO Vespa, and failed. If you are looking for a toy, they might be your place, if you are looking for a parts and service department that is focused on getting you back on the road quickly, go somewhere else.
I needed a ~$ 300 part for my Aprilia motorcycle. Vespa of TO was offering the price at list (about $ 330) while online retailers were selling it for $ 280. I figured, what the heck, I’ll do business with the local folks anyway. Bad idea. After calling repeatedly to try and order the part, and being told repeatedly, I would get a call back in «a few minutes», I finally get through to the parts department late in the day, and am told I have missed the order window for the week, and as a result, my part would now take just over 2 weeks to arrive. Really? I would not have missed the order window had you actually called me back as you said you would.
So, my reward for choosing to work with a local business, and to pay MORE for it? To have my bike non-​functional for another week. After getting non-​service from Vespa TO, I was able to find another vendor who will get me my part, in a timely manner, and for a dramatically lower price.
Don’t make the mistake that I did of trying to do business with Vespa TO, you will regret it. I do.
