Business Owner

Marcia Smart, owner of Smart Interior Styling, is a nationally recognized Interior Redesign and Home Staging expert.

Smart Interior Styling has won the Star Award for 2015, based on the independent research of The Pulse of the City News, for excellent customer focus, and has also been recognized in the «Honors Edition» of the Manchester Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women as a past Director and a founding member of an international Redesign & Staging organization.

Marcia has appeared on HGTV and acted as a spokesperson for Linens ‘N Things East Coast «Get Inspired» campaign. Her expertise has also been featured in numerous periodicals and radio broadcasts.

In addition, she has authored «Decorating By Instinct», «Accessorizing With style, and «150+ SMART Seasonal Decorating Tips «, and has created the only step-​by-​step redesign instructional DVD & Workbook set in the industry, «Redesign-​Like-​A-​Pro».

Marcia was a great help in many ways! I recently moved into the area and needed a second set of eyes to help make some cosmetic changes to the house. Marcia had lots of paint decks to help us narrow down some choices. She also had some great ideas for my master bedroom and made some suggestions I didn’t think of. She’s professional, knowlegeable and just wonderful to work with. I strongly recommend her… she knows her stuff!

Marcia helped me decorate our living and dining areas. I’m so glad I called her. Our time together was so beneficial for me. It gave me the push I needed, and I have this adrenaline rush now to decorate! She helped me organize and showed me the purchases I can make to finish the look. I liked Marcia’s approach to using my existing furnishings with fresh eyes. She brought in her team & rearranged my downstairs furniture as well as a couple of bedrooms & I was so pleased. The rooms look so «Smart» now, with less cluttered, workable arrangements. Since then, I’ve called her back to rearrange my master bedroom & another time to help me hang artwork & pictures. She had good ideas on some of the collectibles I’ve accumulated & I will absolutely call her again when I’m ready to re-​dec another room. Marcia is pleasant to work with and there’s no fear you will be spending thousands of dollars on redecorating. (Although I’m sure she could do that if you wish!)

Five Easy Steps for Unleashing Your Inner Decorator. It helps you see what «your style» is and how to apply that room by room to your home so that it more closely reflects who you are.
