Jacqui Knapp and Get it Moving are a life saver! When my family and I moved to Woodland Hills recently we simply couldn’t make the time to make the transition. Between our busy work schedules and having a 2 year old daughter to care for, we really needed professional help. Jacqui came through huge and never once disappointed. She is fun to be around, our daughter loved her, and my wife and I are still married as a result. I would have paid double her fee knowing in hindsight what a benefit it was to hire her. Jacqui Knapp is a rockstar. I was in full on panic mode trying to prepare my house for sale. She came in, assessed the situation, calmed me down and got to work. She had my house organized and decluttered in one day. Jacqui is über-​efficient yet still thoughtful in her work. She has a great personality and is a blast to have around. (In fact, I want her around all the time– to organize me and make me laugh!). She’s also trustworthy and vey honest in the way she charges you at the end of the day. It seemed like a luxury to hire an organizer but it honestly didn’t cost as much as I’d anticipated. Plus, Jacqui is invaluable. Worth every penny. I absolutely could not have managed without Jacqui. My house sold in under a week. Now I have to call Jacqui to help me move!

Let me start off by saying, I hate people! Why? Because they always disappoint me and usually promise things that they fail to deliver on. Well… Jacqui, (or Jsnap as I call her) and her amazing team have actually proven to be an exception to this rule. Here is why: she is über efficient, knows how to get things done, even on a crazy tight timeline, and makes daunting tasks relaxing and actually fun. Yes, I said fun! I was in a very desperate situation of holding down a demanding job, balancing a toddler and trying to move into a smaller place all while my husband was working on location. Jacqui came in, quickly assessed my situation, came up with a game plan that took control of my place and took away my stress. This allowed me to remain focused on my family and my career. She also has a great balance of being strong yet sensitive and has hilarious catch phrases that you may find yourself using like «it’s on!»
I truly believe that an angel sent Jacqui to me because there is no way I could have executed this move without her and her team and I now have systems in place that I will use for a lifetime. Don’t hesitate for a split second if you’re considering using Get It Moving, you will not be disappointed!

Jacqui is awesome with her one of a kind personallity! The moment that she walked in, she immediately assessed the situation and took control. Before I knew it she had everything organized as to what stays and what goes. All I had to do was watch her and her crew hold up each item and say either «stay or go». The stress of moving suddenly became UN-​stressful as things started to magically disappear. The work that I dreaded doing for so long was a breeze! Jacqui streamlined the entire process and made my move seem fun and easy. Wow, who knew you could hire someone like Jacqui to manage your entire move! Most people try to manage the move themselves and get stressed out. In my case, Jacqui managed the entire end-​to-​end process from finding the movers and trash hauling companies, going through the entire house with her crew to sort thru tons of old inventory which I was leaving behind — she divided it up between real trash vs. donatable goods (ended up getting over 4k in write-​offs!), scheduled the deep cleaning, then coordinated with the realtor on overall timing. She then did walk-​throughs of the entire house and suggested what areas need to get fixed vs leaving as-​is, which fixtures to change, etc. to provide the most appeal during open houses. She has amazing taste and definitely knows her stuff. She even went the extra mile to do things like watering the plants because she saw they were dry. Her pricing is very reasonable and worth every penny. I would definitely recommend her to anyone — from those who have high budgets to low budgets on their overall move.

WOW! Jacqui is incredible! She came over first to give a free consultation to help me figure out what the best use of space is. I just moved here from New Orleans for work and couldn’t have asked for a better helper! Jacqui brought her assistant john as well who wall mounted my TV which looks fantastic. She has a great understanding of how to organize an apartment/​home. I would 100% recommend her services for the future and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to find a new designer.

Man oh man is moving hard. But we learned it really doesn’t have to be. With a wife in full-​time medical rotations and two babies, I didn’t have time to move our family and keep my job.
Thanks to Jacqui and her team it was all possible. They organized us and our move down to the last detail. They supplied the necessary supplies, packed us and moved us in in a jiffy.
Most importantly, everyone on the team was kind, cool and efficient. Jacqui’s experience as a television and movie producer really paid off as they were organized down to the final detail and their time was spend so wisely.

Jacqui has been a Godsend. She’s truly amazing! She is so much fun to work with and super efficient at the same time.
Here I was with 10 years of accumulated clutter, my apartment in desperate need of an update. Whereas I was only able to make occasional small dents in reducing the clutter on my own, Jacqui came in and whipped my place (and my life) back in order.
Jacqui is an EXCEPTIONAL organizer and stands out from the crown in many ways. Not only is she so much fun to work with, she is incredibly efficient, and is sensitive to your individual needs and works with you to adjust to your style. She’s proactive and always thinks ahead — whether it’s providing receipts necessary for taxes, taking your donations to your organization of choice, looking up and sending you links to different product alternatives online, she is always several steps ahead.
Resourceful and a wealth of knowledge — she saved me so much time researching all kinds of things from organizational containers/​bins to comforters, lamps and shades. She is extremely accommodating, eager to help me with any task large or small. She’s extremely responsive to my questions and always forthcoming with good insight.
After just a few hours with Jacqui, I feel less burdened. Jacqui did’t just declutter my living space, she decluttered my life — and that’s a GAME CHANGER!

Moving can be a really stressful and emotional experience. It is also deeply personal. Having someone come into my home, peruse through my private life, pack my treasures, coordinate my move, plus witness and understand my emotional roller coaster behavior without judgment, requires — for me — a very high level of trust. I have that level of trust for Jacqui and Get it Moving. I felt complete confidence that my personal belongings would be well cared for and that whatever happens in my house, stays in my house!

What a pleasure it is to work with Jacqui and interact with someone who actually knows how to communicate clearly. I was so impressed with her ability to really hear what I wanted (she actually listens!), but also with her sensitivity in terms of what I truly needed. My living environment has never been this organized nor has it ever been more visually appealing. We are so grateful for her thoroughness, as well. No shortcuts were taken; in fact, she took on projects I probably still wouldn’t have gotten around to do doing. Jacqui made our move as painless as it could possibly be, and got our house up and running in nothing flat. We’ve been settled in for 2 months now, and we haven’t changed a thing!

I coordinated with Jacqui on my boss’s most recent move. Unfortunately, he is ill so he really needed her to do every part of his move and be really hands-​on. She packed his entire household, arranged with her team to move him AND she unpacked him and organized and set up his new house. When I set out on this organizing journey I was looking for someone with an awareness of the psychological ramifications so I got a referral from my kids’ therapy center. I have not been disappointed. Jacqui has exceeded my wishes. There is no way I could have gotten through my move without Jacqui. Our relationship began when I called her in to help me declutter my home. I have three kids and a busy life so we lived with a mess for years. First of all I loved her the minute I met her and she got along with all my kids. She created systems for the kids’ rooms and worked with them directly so they could be involved in the process of sifting, throwing and keeping. In the midst of this I suddenly changed homes and that’s when it got serious and Jacqui saved my life. This meant going through EVERYTHING– a full basement, garage, work space. Years of my life. Jacqui approached the process with the utmost perfect balance of sensitivity and nudging me to let go of what was ready to go. (it was a lot). I also really appreciated Jacqui’s sensitivity to the feelings of my children at such a big transition. I would kind of expect an organizer to just dump things out, but Jacqui really took the time to go through every piece and what was amazing is her uncanny sense of what is important or cool and could stay, and then what just has an old stale energy and should go. On top of all this, we spent a lot of time laughing. I was lucky enough to have several weeks to make the transition from one home to another so we were able to take chunks of time to systematically do the work as opposed to being rushed. I could also trust Jacqui and her amazing assistant Felipe to take care of things that did not require my involvement so I could get away from the process, and get things done like taking care of the kids and my own work. Jacqui is a godsend and I intend to keep her in my life after the move is complete (yes, it is still happening), to keep me current on home organization and paperwork.

I was just out of the hospital, newly separated and moving into a home alone.
Jacqui said she would take care of everything AND SHE DID!!! Got my clothes from my old house, arranged for the movers to do their thing, unpacked me, organized, cleaned and placed furniture where it looked the best.
Without her I was sunk. She did everything including getting me a receipt from a thrift store for a tax deduction on the stuff I should have dumped years ago.
She is a pro. She is great. I will use her again and again. She really did save my life.
