Paper Heart Events

We worked with Holly for a Wedding on May 22^nd, 2015 at Orcutt Ranch doing lighting. She was awesome to work with. She knows her stuff, comes prepared, she is fun, professional, her weddings she coordinates are stunning and she treats the people she works with like family. I would highly recommend her to any bride. You will not be disappointed!

Holly Orr was the LIFESAVER of our wedding. If it wasn’t for her our wedding wouldn’t have run as smoothly and as wonderfully as it did. She had a thorough checklist of exactly what we wanted, and made sure we had every little detail figured out. She also provided us with a card box and a cake stand. She helped with all the set up, making sure the wedding went smoothly, and helped to direct the DJ and the photographer. Literally Holly was the best thing that happened at our wedding. We LOVE LOVE LOVE everything she has done for us, and all the incredible hard work she put in, in order for our wedding to run as smoothly as it did. Holly Orr is the key to the perfect wedding. She is calm, professional and takes all the stress off of you while you are planning and on the day of. She is a GODDESS, and we were so lucky to have her help with everything!!!

I was looking for a day of wedding coordinator when I was introduced to Holly. I only had a few weeks before the our big day and I literally dumped all of my planning, notes, ideas and vendors lists into her lap and said take over and she did. Everything I needed was taken care of and she went above and beyond to make sure that is was. In fact we were texting at midnight before the wedding when I had a question and I thought no way would she answer and to my surprise and relief she did. I really do not know how brides do it without help and I am so thankful to have had Holly’s help. She was always responsive, knowledgeable and had a handle on things. We had a pretty big wedding party and she just kept everyone in line and organized. I think one of the biggest things that I was so impressed with was how she just took over for me, contacting the vendors, working with the venue, setting up the wedding etc as if she had been helping me plan it all along. You cannot go wrong if you book her services!!! Thank you Holly!

Holly helped me plan and host a surprise 40^th birthday celebration for my husband and she was fantastic! Her recommendations were spot on. She took a considerable amount of time to get to know what my husband liked, so that we could incorporate those things into the evening, and she was 110% professional, prompt, thoughtful and supportive throughout the entire event! She chose an excellent venue, managed the communication and coordination between the venue, me, photographer, and whoever else needed to be involved. She was attentive and truly a pleasure to work with. She provided us a timeline of events for the evening and saw to it that we kept on schedule. I highly recommend Holly to anyone who is searching for an event planner/​coordinator. In fact, I am looking forward to the next opportunity that I will have to hire her for another one of our events!

I hired Holly through a referral to be my day of coordinator for my recent wedding. The quality of work that she put forth, her effortless understanding of what it is that I wanted (even though I changed my mind daily), and the extent to which she was available for me was more than I could have ever hoped for! Holly was exceptional in all the planning leading up to the wedding. She was in constant contact with me about set up, theme, vendors, who she talked to and the conversations between them so that I knew everyone was on the same page.
The extent of her work ethic was further proven when I showed up to the venue and she had beaten me there for set up and was inventorying the items delivered by the vendors, making the ceremony site was set up how I wanted it and all the while doing it in 95 degree weather. She organized all of the decorations we brought for our mostly DIY wedding and had them all set up exactly like we had discussed!
The day of the wedding she and her assistant had the tables set up exactly how I had imagined them in my head, every sign was placed correctly, the decorations were perfect, the gift table and entry looked better than I had imagined, she organized the servers and bartenders to make sure they understood their responsibilities and what they needed to do, and she kept us on schedule all the time checking in with me to make sure that I was eating or had drank something and if I needed anything…
Holly made my wedding go so smoothly. I found out the next day that there were a few issues that had come up the night before with the venue that she had totally taken care of and I had no idea on my wedding night! The end of the night quickly came and we were not ready to end and Holly handled extending their contracts.
I am definitely can be a control freak but Holly made me feel so comfortable. My favorite thing about Paper Heart Events and specifically Holly was that I never once worried or second guessed that everything was going to get done and that it was going to be exactly like I wanted. When I finally got to see the venue completed I was in awe of her work! All of my vendors had great things to say about how diligent and organized she was.
Like I said, HIRE HER! Holly is AMAZING!!!
