All of our DJs are serious professional disc jockeys with a passion for music, the craft of mixing, and the art of event coordination. History

Established in 2005.

In 2005 Loud DJs was established in the Los Angeles area as part of a grander vision to go against the grain of the mobile DJ industry at large. Our roots lie in genuine passion for music and the art of mixing music and coordinating events. Since our inception we have expanded and evolved, having served at over 400 events. We operate out of Ventura, CA providing DJ service to Santa Barbara, Ventura, Malibu and the Greater Los Angeles areas.

Business Owner

Eric P. (a.k.a. DJ Elixir) has been a DJ with Loud DJs since 2008 and has worked his way up through the ranks to become the current owner & sole proprietor of the business. Eric was discovered by Loud DJs founder DJ Lucid when Eric was working as a resident DJ at a popular local nightclub. Soon the two were collaborating and promoting their own events together drawing hundreds of music lovers to private festivals on the beaches and in the mountains of Ventura County. Eric’s passion for music and the art of making a dance floor come alive made him a staple DJ at Loud and it’s the same passion that drives him today as Loud’s owner.

Highly recommended! Eric was so accommodating. He was the first to reply with a quote, even durning the weekend. He was so generous with his rates for our fundraiser we were holding for my recently disabled brother. Even when some problems with the event came up, he was understanding and helped us out. The night was perfect, no problems, great music and provided everything we asked for. We also used his photographer David Yamamoto who was extremely kind and professional and our event photos came out perfect! Definitely worth it and definitely using their services again!

My husband hired Eric to DJ the surprise birthday party he threw for me in August. Eric was great! My husband gave him a list of artists and a few particular songs and he was able to play a great selection. He even brought his own lighted disco ball and we had a great time. He was terrific. Loud DJ’s provided our music for our high level passholder party on the Closing Night of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s 30^th year. It was a big event with many sponsors, board members, filmmakers and talent attending, and they knocked it out of the park! We hired Eric for our daughter’s wedding, he is wonderful from begining to end. We booked him months in advance. He met with my daughter and her husband and they took it from their from the selection of music and the timeline for the wedding. It was a smooth and beautiful day. Eric set the atmosphere for the night, from the ceremony into the reception. It was a night to remember. I would highly recommend Eric for all of special functions. Thank you Eric for a terrific job. Eric did a fantastic job at my college graduation party! I found Loud DJs as a last minute DJ and let me tell you, Eric worked really hard to make sure to get to know mine and my family’s vision for the night, even with the time limitation. He worked closely with me in determining the music; because my grad party ranged from 20 somethings to 60 somethings, it was important that the music included music that pleased everyone. He nailed it. He set up a great display of lights and ambiance; it really set the mood for the night. Everyone had a great night, largely due to Eric. In addition to the great outcome, Eric was very polite, professional, prompt, engaged… the list goes on. Really, just a wonderful guy to work with. We are so happy that we chose Loud DJs. back up. I am a professional wedding photographer so I hear DJ’s EVERY WEEKEND. so when it was time to shop for a DJ for my wedding I had a HUGE list to pull from, but ONLY ONE I wanted.
Eric, the owner of Loud DJ’s, made the entire process fun. My husband and I did not want the typical oldies by the decade followed by the current top 40 at our wedding and I knew Eric could create the vibe we wanted. Our dinner music ranged from Wax Tailor to Latin instrumental. Once Eric found out that my husband was a die-hard Michael Jackson fan, he went through his vinyl archives and found some tunes that were never even released on radio. We were blown away.
All night people kept asking where we found such an incredible DJ. We danced until they shut us down. I would recommend this company for ANY event, not just weddings. In fact the main reason I chose them is because I didn’t want my reception to have typical wedding reception music. If we ever throw another party or event I will be hiring them again.
other essential information, I had a beach ceremony and he had all the equipment for sound etc. .. out there which was really helpful. I bought their package that included uplighting and it was set up perfectly and looked gorgeous. There was a main DJ and an assistant and THEY BOTH killed it. They dress stylishly, no monkey suits and no weird shirts with logos on them. they also sent me a very organized song form sheet to fill out in case I had specific requests for certain parts of the night. Everything was organized well. Everyone was fun and professional, and most of all, the party rocked and our guests loved it.

When it comes to 18^th Birthday Parties they better be banging to keep the young adults happy and the Selfies/SnapChat/Tweets/Instagram flowing!
Our daughter wanted an 18 year old friendly Clubland experience and man did LoudDJs deliver! From the moment of the first consultation they understood what we wanted and how to create it. The lighting and sound system were tailored to the venue perfectly to flood it with light and the vibe of a great nightclub, and all in a Golf club functional hall! The DJs spun some great mixes that got the crowd jumping (literally!). Awesome to see real DJs in action with live mixing and scratching, it all made for great show that the young audience could relate to.
Entirely professional to deal with from start to finish. Slickest DJ outfit in the CV!
