What a lovely place to get lab work done! The office is immaculate, with modern décor. The staff, both front desk and phlebotomists, are kind, respectful and professional. I went during morning hours as a walk in and waited 5 minutes. I felt like I was at a spa, not a lab! They use butterfly needles so it’s more comfortable, although I have good veins. Is it weird that I Iook forward to going again? Highly recommend; they set the standard!

I had a really great experience at Biotex this morning. The staff was friendly and the man that took my blood was great! I barely felt the needle and that’s the first time I’ve ever said that. The lab was clean and I’m happy it was a smooth process.

Professional, friendly and expert service. No appointment necessary, and have never had to wait more than 15 minutes. For someone with rolling veins, having blood drawn can be a painful experience in the wrong hands. Technicians are almost always successful on the first try. No digging around or multiple tries in the same spot. What a relief! Clean, comfortable office and convenient location.

I went to my regular lab (which will now become irregular), to get a blood draw and two days in a row I could not get it done. The wait time became more than impossible, so I searched for greener pastures (thanks to google).

So here’s the deal.
I walk in and they made me feel very welcome.
I wasn’t sure I was in a lab because the place is so nice.
The office was very clean. The front desk people where very neat, clean, and professional.
They were very helpful on what they needed as a first timer there.
I could not believe how nice the people where there from the front desk to the back where they draw your blood. Oscar was very good at drawing and I’ve been poked quite a bit, but they did not play that game «guess where the vein is here» like other places.
I did not have to wait a very long either, so that I could get back to the business of my business and living.
And judging from the other reviews here, I can see why the reviews are good.
Will keep you updated, but so far they are not naughty but ‘nice’.

They are friendly. They are fast. The office is beautiful as everyone else on here stated. I would recommend them also, because they draw just about any and every test a doctor ordered. I hoping the same is true from the food allergy kit I got from an ND. I am calling them tomorrow but decided it is worth a longer drive to get blood draw here.

My doctor told me about this place as I’m a big baby when it comes to getting blood work done. They really made me feel comfortable. I was able to lay down and they have soothing music on and a tv monitor on the ceiling to watch scenic pictures. It was painless and I was in and out in less than 15 mins. I’m so glad this place exist and will go here for any future blood work.

Taking your 9 YO for labs isn’t pleasant but this place made it as pleasant as possible. Clean. Professional and courteous staff. In and out in 15 min. Wow! 10 different doctors, 10 different tests, one blood draw. Thank you!

This is the BEST laboratory service /​blood draw center that I have ever been to… and trust me, I have been to a lot.
Pros:
They provide services for pretty much any kind of specimen /​blood test that you can think of.
You don’t have to bring your own kit for those exotic blood tests… they usually have them in stock.
They accept walk-​in patients.
The staff is very courteous and professional.
Cons: None (well…maybe having more locations)

Beautiful facility and outstanding staff

When your older than dirt, your doctor wants blood and sometimes other samples tested every 6 or 12 months typically just to verify your still alive, I think ??? Anyway, this was a small time office in the across the street complex for about eight years and now is in new office with upgraded nuance and space. The staff is essentially the same plus a couple — they are absolutely super !!!
If and when you need blood work (every 6 months for us), this is the very best of service and efficiency. They treat you with warm pleasant charm and are very good at the job — make getting stuck with a needle an ok thing. But now on to Coffee — they make you fast before drawing blood — so come early, they open at 7:30 AM.

If you’re looking for a good place to get stabbed in the Conejo Valley, this is it!
Best blood work and specimen drop off lab I’ve ever been to! Why you might ask? Well, let me fill you in:
*Plentiful parking — you park under a shady grove of trees mere steps from the building. There are even people who will wash and detail your car in the parking lot!
*Beautiful building — Biotex’s office space lies on the first floor of Rolling Oaks Plaza. Glass doors open to a peaceful, welcoming waiting room with comfy leather chairs, purple orchids, and beautiful nature scenes playing on a flatscreen TV. Once the phlebotomist calls your name, you’re brought back into one of the private rooms; each has a fancy shmansy patient chair and another flatscreen TV with a loop of nice, distracting images of baby animals to watch… unless you prefer to stare at the blood oozing out of your arm.
*Superb staff — everyone here (at least when I visited) was kind and professional. The woman at the front desk greeted and helped each patient in a friendly, efficient way. There is very little wait time until you’re called back. The phlebotomist that treated me was fabulous — nice and gentle, found my vein easily on the first attempt. Whew!
*Speedy service — come on in during business hours — no appointment necessary! Between check-​in, paperwork, and giving 4 vials of blood, I was in and out in a cool 10 minutes. Biotex runs like a well-​oiled machine!
This place had come highly recommended by several friends and family members — it definitely lived up to the hype. I give Biotex 5 very enthusiastic blood-​red stars!
