Only YOU can stop the insidious Starbucks-ization of America! In this case I guess it would be the 24 Hr. Fitness-ization of America. If you are looking for a gym in the T.O. area, check out Body Focus. It’s less expensive than 24 Hr. or Golds. It has all of the free weight apparatus your heart could desire. B.F. has a ton of nautilus machines also. The cardio room is big and has about 12 treadmills, 8 elliptical machines, 8 stationary bikes, 6 stair masters, and a few other weird looking machines that I have never used. There is also a separate Spin room. I have never seen somebody have to wait for a machine. There is a large aerobics room and there are always classes going on in there. Also, while not very spacious, there is another area with mats set aside for stretching. The mens locker room is not luxurious but it is CLEAN. There is a steam room. The ONLY thing that Body Focus lacks is a pool. If you need a pool, you gotta go elsewhere. If not, Body Focus might be the gym for you!!!
