I contacted SCI after reading excellent reviews on Angies List. I had water damage due to a dishwasher leak on my new hardwood floors and the cabinets/​facia surrounding the dishwasher. Ed was quick to come out and give me an estimate, and as soon as the insurance company issued a check to me they quickly came out to do the job. I was very nervous about tearing things up since my home is less than a year old. Ryan came out to do the work and he was polite and professional. I am happy to say that it looks good as new and I can’t tell there was ever damage there. The estimate was the final bill to the penny. Great job!

I contacted SCI, after a small fire in a rental. Ed came out quickly. I gave him the insurance company contact. He handled dealing with the adjuster and negotiated on my behalf. Ed is very personable and professional. I was very pleased with the crew that actually did the work. Ryan and Scotty were skilled and their work exceeded my expectations. The entire experience was great! The receptionist, the office manager, the crew and the job supervisor are a credit to SCI and I would not hesitate to refer them to family and friends in the future.

I recently had a water damage situation in the second story of a rental home I own that permeated the bathroom area from the toilet and shower above down into the garage area. I called Simons and was ultimately connected with Don Bubois, the project manager. From start to finish Don was concerned for my property, my tenants property and security and well being. He was timely, accurate, and very communicative throughout the entire process. I never had to call him for an update as he was constantly informing me of the status and progress. He coordinated with my tenants, the State Farm insurance adjuster and any sub-​contractors. Don made my life easier with this situation because at the time I was moving my business location, moving out of one home and into a new home I just bought, dealing with some property management situations that I manage and trying to go on a camping vacation that I had planned a year ago. I can’t tell you how much smoother my life was at that time thanks to Don.
He always was available for my phone calls, and if not he would say so and call me back promptly. He emailed estimates that I asked for promptly. It was service beyond what my expectations were. I had previously referred family and friends to Simons and they have been very satisfied-​but now that it was my turn to need them they were amazing. If you want a company that will take care of ALL the details, communication, coordination-​call Simons and I hope you’re lucky enough to get Don. Can’t say enough great things about how satisfied I am. I have many choices of who to call and who to give my business to and I am happy to have chosen to give my business to this company and their local families!

I called Simons to have a contractor come out and take a look at a house we were in escrow on. Ed came out promptly the next day to give us a free estimate on adding a bathroom to the house. We talked about the bathroom addition and a few other remodeling items. The estimates he gave us were very fair and competitively priced. He also pointed out what he thought was a major structural issue with the roof, which was sagging. We followed his recommendation to have a structural engineer check the place out. The repairs needed ended up being too extensive for us and we let the place go. If we need a contractor in the future, we would definitely call Simons for their responsiveness, fair pricing and honesty.

My wife’s co-​worker recommended SCI to us. We need some facia repaired on our house. I called and a rep came to the house the next day. We discussed the job for about 5 minutes and he said he needed to have his roofer look at it. Three days later I texted him to ask status, he said the roofer would call me. I replied that he could just come by without an appointment if he wanted, as it’s an outside job and I’d keep our dogs in the house. No reply. After a total of 8 days passed from his initial (and only) visit, I texted him to say I would find someone else. He replied and apologized, saying his roofer couldn’t contact me. I had missed no calls or texts, so I know he never tried. This was a waste of more than a week. SCI might do good work, but I’ll never know.
