History

Established in 1989.

Woodtech Cabinet Specialists, Inc started as a one man cabinet shop simply called Woodtech in 1989. Over the next decade Woodtech grew into a larger facility employing several cabinetmakers, installers and a finisher. We specialized in fine cabinetry and mill work for the growing custom home market on the central coast. Woodtech incorporated in 2001 and moved into our current high tech 8000 square foot facility in 2004. Woodtech Cabinet Specialists, Inc were one of the first to incorporate CNC Machinery and a spray booth in the area. We have become known for producing exceptional quality and satisfied customers through our use of technology and old school craftsmanship.

Established in 1989,

Bill Breneman came to San Luis Obispo in 1977 to attend Cal Poly where he received a bachelors and masters degree in Industrial Technology. In the late 1980s He served as a Lecturer in The Industrial Technology Dept. teaching Plastic Technology courses. He married to his wife Cheryl in 1985. Wanting to raise their family in San Luis Obispo, Woodtech was started in 1989. Bill and Cheryl have raised three children and continue to live in SLO where they are active in their local church and community
