Flashback Games

We love flashback games. Josh and his sister are awesome. It’s not very common anymore where when you chine to a sore where they remember you let alone your name. They remember your kids, what kind of games they dig and consoles they’re playing on. I can’t recommend them enough. Other than we drive all the way from Apache Junction to visit the store chat em up and buy games. They’ve always had what we wanted in stock. And once my wife was after a video game from my original Playstation days that he found and held onto for me specifically. They’re awesome people. Your should definately go there before any big box store anywhere.

Absolutely love this place. My boyfriend and I come here first if we are ever in need of games/​consoles or we just plain want to look what they’ve got. Ashley and the other store owner are very knowledgeable of the games they have and are very helpful in locating things you need In store. They test out every game console. Their prices are reasonable than most places & when they buy things from you it is also VERY reasonable than selling to other stores. Highly recommend you stopping by and checking it out.

Been shopping at Flashback ever since they opened! They always have a lot of solid inventory and everything is priced fairly, and I’ve never had an issue with any used product I’ve purchased. The staff is always fun, friendly and willing to help whenever I have a question or need some help, which is why I keep going back!
They also set up some tables in the back of the store, and they have a couple of games up at the front, so its fun to stop and play whichever game is up that week while perusing the selection.

I love going to Flashback Games. They always seem to have what I want, which have generally been semi-​popular NES and SNES games that Fallout and The Game Zone seem to never have copies of, but maybe that’s just been good luck. Nonetheless they have always delivered, they have a cool arcade section, the store if decorated in nostalgia that makes me want to live there, and the staff are super knowledgeable about the product.
When I needed a new NES an employee reached out to me via a Facebook group and informed me Flashback had NESs that have been refurbished, and have new pin connectors for around $ 54.00! That’s awesome! So I picked one up.

My son is into «retro games» and someone told him about this place. IT IS GREAT. The staff seems very knowledgeable of the games that they are selling, and offers good advice. A good selection of cables, controllers and other accessories so that you can start using your old consoles again. The store is very very clean and well maintained. My son says he does not mind ditching his regular trips to a GameStop! ;)

This is a hidden gem, the staff is friendly and they have a wide selection of new or retro games and systems… Not to mention they are reasonably priced too. I found me new game store!

The staff was friendly and welcoming. It has a nice selection of reasonably priced, desirable older games. I purchased a Sega Genesis from here, along with some games and they work great!
This store is a smaller, family-​style business, so keep in mind that the selection won’t be as vast as stores such as GameStop, Fallout, etc. They do however buy games often and work hard to keep their inventory interesting, and that, paired with their customer service earns them 5 stars from me. :)

Always had good service, got better price for selling/​trade in then anywhere else. They’ve had items for $ 20 that were for $ 35-​$ 40 at fall out.

Went in today, friendly staff, a couple free play arcade games. I was impressed by how many NES games in the box they have. I will be bringing in some games to sell soon. I saw alot of shipping boxes behind the counter as it looks like they do a big online or ebay busiiness. This place is right down the street from my job so I will be in frequently!

Amazing selection of reasonably priced games. Friendly staff. Everything I have purchased from this shop had worked. Also well organized.
Also they don’t put the price tag stickers on game labels, and use stickers that are super easy to pull off without leaving any mark or needing to clean off sticker gunk. Why cant every game store do that?

After frequenting just about every game store in Arizona and Las Vegas, I felt this store was really lacking in selection, customer service, and atmosphere. I was looking around for awhile just browsing, while the customer service rep was playing video games. One of the girls behind the counter was very friendly, but that alone does not make up for this lackluster store. Later I went to Gaming Zone and fell in love, so all was not lost.

I left a message on their Facebook wall asking about a SNES game, and got a reply instantly. I came in the same day to pick it up.
The selection is more diverse than a second-​hand shop. They also have a SNES hooked up to a TV and free arcade games. I spent some time playing Super Mario World and chatting with Ashley behind the counter. Very friendly place!
The prices are about the same as a Bookman’s or Zia, but I prefer to give my money to support a local business, especially one that really cares about their customers.

My boyfriend has been talking about this place for awhile and finally I got the chance to go with him. This game is seriously a walk down memory lane, considering I grew up with all of these old games and consoles. Not only that but the two lady’s who were working there were extremely friendly. My boyfriend was thinking about getting the Atari that they had there and the owner told us we could pick out 5 games for free. That’s right FREE. We were both shocked and couldn’t believe it. This place was so great and I seriously can’t wait to go back again. All the prices were really fair compared to other places we have gone. Definitively try this place out.

Way better service and quality than any other place I’ve been to! They are always friendly and have well stocked, clean, organized shelves! We’ve never had problems with any of the products we bought, and if we did we know we would have no problem taking it back since they stand behind the quality of their products. Careful once you start you can’t stop :)

Heard a lot of mixed reviews of this place so I had to come check it out. Ashley was friendly as soon as I walked into the door. They have a decent selection of great titles and not an overhaul of common games on display. Store is neat, clean and spacious and most importantly, prices are very fair. I would recommend people to come here and buy retro video games.

Flashback Games is a fantastic place to go and explore. I stumbled upon it while visiting the reptile store next door and couldn’t have been happier about it! I have been completely happy with their inventory and can’t wait to go back and buy more treasures from them. Everything I’ve gotten from there has worked great, and the customer service goes above and beyond! My boyfriend’s son saw a Lego game for the 64 that he thought he might like, so they let him take it for a test drive right there at the store. We must have been there for over an hour last night, just talking to the owners about our interests. I can’t recall a better shopping experience, ever. If you’re looking for a place where you can let your geek flag fly in good company, or just want to take a walk down memory lane with some gaming consoles from childhood, look no further. You’ve hit jackpot :)

My brother and I wanted to purchase two specific games tonight and found out that this place is basically the only one opened till 9pm. We came in at 8:45 «yes I’m that kind of customer :/​«but the guy behind the counter was still really friendly. We ended up purchasing three game instead of the original plan because they had a rare game that was pretty cheap. So with all this being said, because the employee was so friendly, and the other employee that rang us up was so friendly, I have to give this place 5 stars. Plus they actually do have a really good selection and the store was really clean and bright so that’s a plus :)

Took my four little grandsons here this past Thursday, July 11, 2013. We were all pleasantly surprised to find such a nice, clean, and very well organized store with whatever anyone could be looking for. It was fantastic. We could have stayed in there for an hour just browsing. The prices were right and not overpriced. We bought three X Box games and they were in mint condition. When we have more money we will be going back for some Nintendo 64 games. The staff were very helpful but not pushy whatsoever. They were very nice and appreciative of our checking their store out. We will be going back soon without a doubt. It has parking right in the front and easy to find. The location is close to ASU. We live in East Mesa but it wasn’t too far to drive. It had a much better selection then the other places we have been to.
