LET THE BUYER BEWARE. I purchased a heating lamp for my tortoises and when I got home, the first thing I noticed was that the lamp was clearly «used merchandise». Then I realized that IT DID NOT WORK. So I drove back to the store, and they did not have another and told me that I could get a replacement in about 2-​weeks. Tortoises do not live without heat… so I was forced to buy one somewhere else. When I requested a refund, since I could not get a replacement in a reasonable amount of time, I was told NO REFUNDS PERIOD. I am still fighting via my credit card company these guys today. They have the lamp and still will not agree to a refund. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS MR OWNER.

My fiancé bought a couple green anoles from a pet store in another part of town. She was worried about the health one of them, and looking up information about anoles on the internet was really frustrating. I stopped by here during my lunch hour and was really impressed with the staff’s willingness to help me. I didn’t get the pets there, and I wasn’t there with the intent to buy anything. The person I spoke to was extremely helpful in analyzing the terrarium setup we had and what kinds of adjustments we could make. I’ll be back here in the future if I have a need for additional supplies.

My favorite reptile store in the area! Also i see them at reptile shows which is nice. They always have a large amount of animals in nice clean cages. Though a lot of the cages are reserved for store breeders-​which its nice to see the parents of the animals so you know what they will probably look like– it would be nice to have a more diverse collection for sale.
Either way this is the first store I go to when looking for more animals or supplies.

Apparently they have changed their name? Probably good, since they never got around to the «reef» aspect of the store.
The store seems pretty limited on animals, honestly. 3 or 4 monitor species, I think a green tree python and a few ball python morphs is all I can really remember. They had several very large breeders that are cool to look at though. All the prices were okay.
Feeder mice prices are reasonable too.
I was really not impressed with the cage cleaning going on in the middle of the day… if you MUST do it during business hours, do one cage at a time, don’t spread out 3 or 4 cages worth of crap all over your tiny store so that I can’t walk down 1 of the 2 aisles.
The kids cleaning the cages were also off-​putting — they seemed like stoned hippie types that really didn’t know anything and just sat on the floor (among the cage cleaning stuff). I think someone once mentioned that the owner only «employs» volunteers? Maybe that was it.

This place is great. The staff was very welcoming the first time I came in to buy some crickets for my bearded dragon. Very knowledgeable when it comes to reptiles. They have great deals and I will definitely be a regular at this store.

The store seemed a lot different this time than the last time I went in. Some of the lizards looked sick and the whole place had a kind of dirty feel. They did have a wider variety of exotics, including many species that I’ve never seen in other pet stores. The Argus monitors and frilly looked good, but I believe they aren’t for sale.

This store was another one of those cool to visits, as they have a variety of animals on display that other stores do not. However, when we visited that is what most of the entire store was as far as reptiles «displays» and «not for sale», would be nice to see if this store focused more on the for sale, instead of the zoo aspect of a reptile business.

What a great selection! I don’t even know where to begin… and they carry all the supplies you’ll need to take care of anything you purchase from them. Check out the «back room» with the rattlers!

This is a great store. I buy my mice and rats there for my snakes, and they are always very helpful and their prices are the best I’ve found for live mice and rats. They are moving their location across the strip mall to the building where «Tipps 88 Thai» used to be. I’m interested to see how they improve their store (as of right now it’s fairly crowded and unorganized). I would recommend this store to anyone who wants a reptile, and wants to learn about how to take care of it properly. The owner is very knowledgeable.

Reptiles & Reefs is a great store. I bought my ball python from there in September and every single question I have, they don’t hesitate to answer. They are very helpful. My snake wasn’t shedding out so they actually took the time to soak him for me and then work his skin off. The owner is extremely helpful and knowledgeable as well as the staff. I use Reptiles & Reefs for all my reptile needs.
