We went here for a Bachelorette party and it was absolutely perfect!!! Our tour guides were Yvonne and Amanda, who were both very helpful and made the experience more enjoyable.
We made 4 stops, some better than others. You got about 5 – 6 tastings per winery, which was plenty. Lunch was corner bakery and it was a large meal. You could easily save half of your food. My favorite party was the cable car, it was super cute and we had one with windows so we weren’t out in the open dealing with the wind. Overall, it’s a great value for your money, I highly recommend it!

This was my first wine tour. We came to celebrate a friends birthday. What a great time! And let me say, it will take a lot to top this! Wally and Tommy are awesome!!! Didn’t want the day to end! Highly recommend this to everyone!!!

Tom Tom (Tommy) and Wally were our tour guides for the day. We celebrated our girlfriends 25TH birthday and it was amazing! We loved the Trolly ride, it was a new way to experience beautiful Temecula. Wally and Tom made it all that much more enjoyable. We went to four winery’s and had a delicious lunch at our third winery. The only negative was the heat! It was warm one this weekend, but we had so much fun that we barely noticed! For all the females, I would take into consideration that the Trolly can get windy, wear your hair & outfit accordingly. Highly recommend this company and the tour guides.

We just enjoyed a tour a couple weekends ago. Our guide was Holle and our driver was Yvonne. They made the day easy and fun. My girlfriends and I had a blast celebrating my birthday.
I only gave 4 stars because even though our purchases were handled while we were on the tour, once we were off the trolley we were on our own. That would be totally fine except I purchased 4 bottles of wine and I was unaware how the wineries packed each bottle since it was handled by our guide. It wasn’t until I was off the trolley that I realized i had 4 very heavy bottles and only 1 bag to carry them in. I did my best to carry them but the bag ripped from the weight and 2 of 4 bottles shattered on the floor. Is this their fault? No. But they really should warn their customers to bring their own canvas bag, or even better provide one for you. Such a shame… Besides this issue, we’re still planning on booking again, this time with my own bag.

Yvonne, Halle and Debbie were completely amazing. Will be doing this tour again. We went to 4 wineries; Lorimar, South Coast, the Caves at Oak Mountain, and DeAnza. Each and every winery was beautiful. Oak mountain had stunning views, Lorimar was more of a family feel, south Coast had by far the largest and most delicious offerings of wine, and DeAnza is very modern. I will be doing this tour again. Thanks ladies, for the wonderful time!

To round out our trip to California, my daughter and I celebrated her 21^st birthday in Temecula. I did quite a lot of research to choose the best wine tour company.
I picked Temecula Valley Cable Car Wine Tours because they had raving reviews .and they did not disappoint! We had a great time. Our driver/​guide Yvonne was terrific, friendly, and knowledgeable.
We visited 4 gorgeous wineries and everyone was very accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised that southern Cali had vineyards! Who knew! Fell in love with the town too. I’ll definitely go back. A+

This was a great experience, didn’t know I would have so much fun tasting wine. The cable car drivers were super nice and we all had a great time. But the lunch was wack, served in school lunch boxes as a wrap sandwich with chips and water. But we didn’t go to eat so…

Every great review on here is true. If you are looking for the best way to go wine tasting in Temecula, this is your one stop shop! Yvonne and Tommy T gave AMAZING service! They genuinely want you to have a great time and go above and beyond to meet your needs. Not only did they re-​route the trip to pick us up at our hotel, they also took us to a winery we wanted to visit that wasn’t on the itinerary. Any trip that involves wine tasting is going to be fun, but Tommy T and Yvonne make our experience better than we imagined. We also made a lot of friends on the cable car, too! Temecula Valley Cable Car Wine Tour was an excellent adventure and a well spent trip. The staff was very professional and courteous as I dealt with them over the phone to pick out a date. My fiancée and I decided to come on a holiday. Since we didn’t have a big enough party, we didn’t get to ride in a cable car. Nevertheless, we still had a wonderful experience.
Our guide Tommy was an amazing host. He really welcomed us from the very first moment we step into the shuttle and all the way to the very end of the ride. Tommy provided a brief snippet of explanation before each winery’s stop. It really added to the experience since there are so many wineries in the area. Had we gone on our own, we would not have known which ones to check out.
Lesson of the day, both of us were much weaker drinker than we thought. By our third stop, we were ready to raise our white flags. Some of the wineries were more than generous with their portions. It was nice that we got to stop for lunch (a sandwich bag is included in the price) and enjoy a beautiful view of the wine valley.
Save yourself from choosing a designated driver. I highly recommend Temecula Valley Cable Car Wine Tour so that everyone can enjoy the experience together!

I’d give more than 5 starts if I could! Wally and Tommy were amazing! Not only were they making sure we were tended to, but they were knowledgeable. I would book again but only if they were available. Give those boys a raise!!!

My wife and I had a wonderful time on the tour, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in wine tasting in the Temecula area. From reserving our seats our tour on the day of, everything was easy, pleasant and a wonderful experience.
We received a gift certificate to a tour for our wedding, and finally got around to using it several months later. My questions on the phone about how to make a reservation and what our certificate included were expertly answered, and the entire booking process was a breeze. Our guides Wally and Tommy picked us up right on time, and they were both extremely friendly and great guides for our tour. They were full of interesting bits of information about the region and the wineries, and they always made sure we were okay at every stop.
We got to spend a good amount of time at each winery and never felt rushed. Lunch was provided and it was great as well. Overall, I would highly recommend taking a tour with Temecula Valley Cable Car Wine Tours!

Absolutely the BEST!!! The entire staff was, friendly, professional and accommodating. It was a girls day and a couple of them had never been wine tasting (imagine that?) anyway what an adventure. Debbie was GREAT, gave us plenty of time at all the wineries. Lunch was fantastic! For the value this is an absolutely perfect day, I would recommend it to anyone coming to the area. Personally I know I will be doing it again.

I had a blast on their tour for my bridal shower with 11 other girls. Some people were lagging when it came to booking the tour and the lady was vet accommodating to make sure we got everyone in my group on our bus. The lunch was great and I will definitely be back again because they have excellent customer service!

Where do I begin?
Has there been a time in your life, when you’ve decided to do something fun, but left it in the hands of others to get it done? It’s a rare thing for me, but that’s what I did — and I have no regrets.
For a friend’s 22^nd birthday, we decided (12 of us) that we would go wine tasting. After doing a bit of research, we were impressed by the glowing reviews of TVCCWT, and we booked it! We were given a location and pick-​up time, and told we would be riding in the bus because of our group’s size.
Fast forward to July 26, 2014: Our group is picked up at the spot we were told (on-​time) by our driver and tour guide, TOMMY. We immediately know it’s going to be a great day. Tommy’s personality was a perfect fit for us — knowledgeable, kind, and fun. He took his time to explain what our day would consist of, some tips & tricks, and asked about our expectations.
The wineries we visited were great! With the exception of Oak Mountain — it was lackluster, in both service and products. But no real complaints here…
The wineries we visited were the following (in order):
Bel Vino — The place has good wine, great service, and a nice tasting room!
South Coast Winery — The BEST one we visited — it was definitely the most fun. The tasting room was bright and cheerful and our server, Sonia, was the BEST! The wine at South Coast is top-​notch. Their Tempranillo and GSM were especially good. This is the only place I bought bottles from.
Oak Mountain — Meh service. Wine was sub-​par. I would only return for the view. This is where we had our yummy lunch, and sat and enjoyed live music by Empire Blend.
Lorimar Winery — Cool place! Our server was Megan, and she was very nice and knowledgeable about the wines. We also got to take a picture right in the vineyards.
Overall, I cannot praise TVCCWT enough. It was a 5-​star experience for my group and me. Tommy made us feel like he really cared about us and he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of at every winery. He really contributed to the incredible experience we all had. Above all, he made sure we felt comfortable, and we never felt rushed! He made sure to remind us to take pictures, because, well, we were having a good time we kind of forgot to take them. ;) He would make sure that all our bottles were being stored away and properly labeled so there wouldn’t be any confusion when our tour ended. And of course he got us to each winery, and back to the drop-​off spot in one piece!

It’s something we would definitely do again. And I will definitely be recommending TVCCWT to anyone who asks me about doing a wine tour in Temecula. It’s worth every penny.

I’ve scheduled a tour twice already with Temecula Cable Car and love them! I’ve done other tours in the past but this is my go-​to for anything I’m planning for a special occasion. Everyone is so happy, sweet and genuinely friendly. Ivonne and Amanda were our cable car hostesses and they were fabulous!
We had a total of 19 in our group for the tour so of course we had a few little scheduling mishaps which they were all happy to help us get through it. Fabulous, fun and an awesome. They made everyone feel happy and comfortable and we had a wonderful time with our friends.
