Koodakestane Lily

May I just start by saying that I am one of the pickiest individuals when it comes to my child, and after searching numerous day care facilities, We were lucky that one our friends referred us to Koodakestane LILY.
My husband and I came to a conclusion that KOODAKESANE LILY was by far the most welcoming atmosphere and the cleanest, safest for our daughter. I like their philosophy which is academics through playing. They make the wonderful experience for our kids that’s why, they all willing to learn more. Most importantly the pre-​school operates in more than one language which helps fully with my child’s multilingual development. They added more classes, Such as music, Yoga more fun activates. This place has a locked gate and all parents need to be buzzed in. This is really important as far as the safety our children.
The principal, Lily Ashoori is extremely knowledgeable and puts heartfelt work when dealing with the children at this pre-​school. She always has time to coach us (parents)as to how to deal with our children and how to overcome any obstacles our little ones may throw our way. All of the teachers are kind and caring.

My daughter loves Teacher Sharzad Firooz ‘s Classes and I love to see that my daughter learns something new every time about, Science, history, cultural events.
Other Teacher Sharzad is really caring and kind all kids love her outdoor ctivities with her.
Teacher Vida, is the kindest and caring person I ever met. She cares about the health of my daughter and because of her finally my daughter gradated form potty training now :)
Tuition is very reasonable. There was times that I was late in picking up my daughter and Lily Ashoori never charge us extra for my delay of pickup .
They provide Breakfast, Snack, Lunch and dinner.
My daughter learned to eat healthy because of Koodakestane Lily.
Hands down I recommend this pre-​school to everyone out there because it makes me feel great that my daughter wakes up every morning yearning to get ready to go there. They keep my child happy, healthy, and safe. They have educated teachers and they all works as one team!

By far the best experience. I started my daughter here at age 2 and at first both her and myself had a hard time letting go. But what i have to say is that the Director Lily Ashoori was very understanding and knew my situation and i was able to stay with my daughter for days till she was comfortable to be by herself.
Besides a great atmosphere the teachers are very helpful and great to my daughter. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. They do a lot of Arts and craft, the philosophy is academics through play and i cannot tell you how much my daughter has enhanced over the last year at koodakestane Lily. Its as if she is at my mothers house.
When i go there i like to sit and get all the progress my daughter has made that day and all the teachers one by one go through the daily events with me and ask me to work on certain things my daughter will need improvement on.
The food is amazing here. My daughter is a picky eater and since she has attended this school her eating habits have improved.
Price is very reasonable. There are times am late in making payments and they never make me feel pressured and work with me to make payments. SO i am great full to this place and my family will be sad when its time to start Kindergarden.
I can not wait till my son is at an age that he can attend this school at age 2 just a couple of months that i need to be patient.

One of the bests preschools in Los Angeles. Teachers and staff are so friendly. My daughter have been in this preschool for 3 years. They treat my daughter like their child.

One of the worst places you can send your little kid !!! The only thing which is very important for them is just money. Once one of the mothers forgot to bring the monthly payment on the 1^st day of the month and very politely she said I’m so sorry I was so busy I forgot today is the 1^st of the month and teacher Lily (the owner) said, I have to put a sign on the door that nobody forgot next time.
My daughter is shy and has a little delay on speaking but if some one act with her friendly and kindly after a while she would be okay and she won’t feel shy any more and she will use her words, I sent her over there for 4 months and I don’t know how they treat her that day by day she was getting worst, more shy and not saying any words even last days when I took her over there she hide behind me! and that’s obviously because of the way they talked and treat with her or other kids over there. When Teacher Lily never smiles at kids and whole day just correct them that don’t do this, don’t do that, don’t talk, don’t walk, don’t make a mess,… and teacher Parisa (one of the teachers) just likes one of the kids and whenever saw her call her so happy and hug her and kiss her and to the rest of the kids just says hi, it shouldn’t be better than that.
The other thing you can not talk to any of the teachers about your kid over there because teacher Lily doesn’t like other teachers talk to parents and avoid them to do that and she is the only one that you are permitted to talk but the only answer that she has is «she is good» even couple of times I asked her «how is my daughter doing and I asked about more details «and still her answer was she is good! The only time that she starts to talk is the time that she has complaint about your kid and your kid did something wrong against her rules! Probably she has not enough knowledge or she doesn’t know how to give a daily report to parents in 5 – 6 sentences, the thing that usually teachers do even at big schools with more than 10 students. I have an example, My daughter doesn’t like to drink water and in hot days I was so worried about her, once I asked teacher Lily has she started to drink water and she rudely answered me «we give them water!» I repeated my question and asked her I’m asking because she usually doesn’t drink water and again she repeated «we give them water «and then she left me. I wanted to tell her I know you do your job but I’m asking about her, I want to make sure she doesn’t get dehydrated but she left me. She is such a terrible teacher. In my opinion they don’t have any love in their job and I don’t understand why they have chosen this kind of job which is base on love and kindness, joy and happiness!!! There are a lot of other things that I can mention about them and their wrong ways for education like the things that they teach over there to 2 years old baby and the homeworks give them to do at home instead of making over there a fun place for these little ones… I’m so glad that I don’t send my daughter over ether any more. Since she doesn’t go there she is so happy …

Koodakestane Lily is a great school with amazing teachers who truley care about the child’s education. Certainly, I would recommend parents to bring their child here. This place has an wonderful environment with a great staff. My son loved attending school at Koodakestane Lily and definitly learned a lot. I would like to thank all the teachers and staff for their support.

Both of my girls are going there right now. They love their teachers and I have seen a vast improvement in their abilities. As a parent I tried teaching my girls letter recognition. But the teachers there did what I could not. My older one is now off to Kindergarten. She can do basic math adding up to 10. Can read books by herself. And has made friends that she loves to see every day.
My younger girl has learned number and letter recognition.
What I really like about this daycare/​school is that they are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. And sometimes my schedule requires me to drop them off early or pick them up later.
The teacher seem to really love the kids which is really important.
This place has a locked gate and all parents need to be buzzed in. I first tried another facility for a few weeks when we had our second girl but there was a huge safety issue. One of the kids walked out and nobody realized it for 10 minutes. Anybody on the street could have taken him.
