I-5 Motors

Very nice dealership and very happy with our purchase. I have been looking for a clean newer Toyota Highlander with low miles. This place had one and at a really reasonable price. I worked with Ken and he was very down to earth and personable. I would recommend them to friends and family for sure. I’m very surprised with the low star ratings but I guess it figures if you don’t get the deal you want then you would be upset… So you love or you hate the dealership. Take my advice and give them a shot if they have a vehicle you like.

I’m surprised at the poor reviews. My experience with I-​5 Motors has been great! My fiancé and I were shopping around for a Chevy Cruze Eco, and we were negotiating with this and another company. The car dealer, Wes, has been nothing but patient and professional, even when we were flip flopping on our final decision. We even decided to go with the other company, but when that company fell through, Wes offered the same reduced price we negotiated (No mark-​ups!) and even offered to pick us up from the other dealership, which was over an hour out!!! My fiancé and I were extremely impressed with their amazing attitudes and their very fair prices!!!
If the other reviews are true, then just ask for Wes. You can’t go wrong.

Called ahead about the car and said I was going to stop by… meaning I’m going to stop by anytime that is best for ME. Went in and got greeted by Ken (you’re typical pushy salesmen). Took him about 10 minutes of walking around to figure out that the owner drives this as a personal car and told me to make an appointment to come and see the car… lol During the time we talking around the front and back lot looking for the car, I told him I just wanted a quick look at the condition because I didn’t have much time. His response was, «why are you looking if you’re not going to buy?» lol… so I said because I’m looking at other cars for the best price. blah blah blah. told me to make an APPOINTMENT to see the car so the owner will get out of it… again lol… Ken said, «he’s the owner, he can do whatever he wants.»… no shit genius, but the car is not going to sell if he’s driving it…
Came back few days later, test drove the car, Freddy was the guy that helped me. Asked for the Autocheck and took him freaking 30 min to print it for me… so I walked out and he chased me down. never went back…
Found the same car with less mileage for 2k less elsewhere…

Wasted my time. Drove an hour to see a car, that was misrepresented in the ad and via phone. The car has problems overheating & needs a new engine. This fact wasn’t mentioned in the article or when I called about the vehicle prior to driving there. Shady operation. Avoid at all costs.

either all the other reviews are from the owner himself, I have no idea how my service was absolutely horrifying. the sales person was flat out rude and had no inkling of helpfulness. I have been shopping for cars and have been to numerous dealers and this place had the worst service. they do have the car that I like but because of their horrid service, I am going take my money and business elsewhere.

I wish I could give them 10 stars! Let’s face it, shopping for a vehicle can be a demoralizing experience. I have degrees in Finance & Accounting, a Masters in business, and I have spent 15 years in sales/​marketing. I feel like I have every skill set one should need to avoid intimidation during the car buying process. Let’s just say out of 6 car purchases in the last 16 years I have only had ONE, yes ONE experience where I felt confident that I was getting the best product for the best price. That experience occurred at I-​5 Motors working with Luke Wilson. I can’t tell you how many times I have driven by this lot in awe of the inventory — it looks like a new car lot full of shiny beautiful objects I could never afford. On the contrary — One day I decided to stroll in and just «take a look.» There she was… a 2007 Carrera S convertible, my dream car. I couldn’t believe the pricing… being an analytical minded person I did my typical research… pulling out my iPad and double checking all the pricing on the spot. I was floored! This wasn’t going to be a haggle for your life experience. While a drive by gave me the impression that the vehicle conditions were good… when I went inside I realized that these were some of the best used vehicles I had ever seen… I felt like I was sitting in a brand new car — not a single crack filled with dust, not a spot on the flooring or a scratch on the paint. I happened to be greeted by Luke, one of the owners. This is not a car salesman… this is a guy that LOVES cars. In fact… I am pretty sure he has an emotional attachment to every vehicle on that lot. After chatting about several of the other awesome rides on the lot — I found myself with the keys to my dream car in my hand. It was car nirvana — the right vehicle, from the right place, in an environment where I was not feeling like my dream was going to be smashed by a sleazy sales guy trying to take me to the cleaners. Luke is as clean as they come… and his passion for cars comes across in every product on his lot. Needless to say my Porsche and I are as happy as we can be… and I look forward to many more years of doing business with Luke and his team at I5 motors!

In short, they’re your stereotypical car salesmen. Game playing in full force.
My negotiations didn’t go very far with them because the sales guy was absolutely rude. I don’t want to go into specifics and name names but here’s how it went down. The sales guy used vague and ambiguous language during negotiations. When I questioned his motives, he immediately became defensive and rude. Typical mind games to ‘guilt’ you into their trap. Because in their mind, they’ve lost the deal, and the only way to get it back is to guilt you back.
Common courtesy would dictate we failed to reach agreement. Everybody calls it a day. I mean, there are other cars and car dealers to chose from. There are other customers they can pull their stunt.
Anyways, one star for typical high pressure mind games sales tactics.

I started out just drooling over the exotics cars they had in stock but soon found they had a car I liked, but most importantly wasn’t in the $ 100,000 range. I went in to look at the car and was greeted promptly. I was in the younger crowd when I made this purchase but that didn’t deter them from treating me like any other customer, which is a good thing. The transaction was smooth and simple.
I had a car to trade in and they worked with me to get the best deal. They even gave me more for my car and lowered the price on the car I was buying without me even asking. Now that’s service! I understand they probably just wanted to get rid of the car, but hey… I can dream I got a great deal. Part of the deal was they fix a check engine light and the center display. This ended up taking 3 months of in and out of the dealer. I would have cost me well over $ 7,000 to fix everything, but they did it for free because it was in the contract. They could have weaseled out of it, but they stuck to their word, even though they pretty much broke even on the whole deal.
Now for the bad… if that’s what you want to call it. I was in more recently with a friend while he was looking for a car and the salesman was taking us out on a test drive. I enjoy driving a car to its fullest, as long as it’s safe to do so… This salesman, who shall remain nameless mostly because I don’t remember his name, drove way to fast, took the corners way to hard, and had no regard for speed limits or no passing zones. Granted he handled the car fairly well, but it was far to excessive for a test drive. Other than that I have had pleasant experiences at I5 Motors, I wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them again, but I don’t think they carry any of the cars I am currently interested in.

An awesome collection of Porsche’s, Audi’s, BMW’s, Mercedes’, and other exotics. Most are used but the sales staff is very friendly. Not your typical used car buying experience. It’s a little tough to find this place but when you get there there’s plenty of nice restaurants right down the road if you get hungry!
