Just purchased my very first car from this dealership over a week ago and wow am I impressed! The service here was out of this world and I truly enjoyed working with Bruce Anderson and his team.
After spending most of my day at another Lexus dealership in the area, I walked away from that offer knowing that they wouldn’t budge on their price nor offer to get me the specific color scheme I wanted. Leaving a sour taste in my mouth, I decided to call Lexus of Tacoma to see if they had a specific car I wanted (2016 Lexus NX 200T AWD F-​Sport with Silver Exterior & Red Interior). Bruce Anderson was able to call me back instantly and say that they could get me that car ASAP so I decided to drive from Bellevue to Tacoma instantly at 4pm that day.
Immediately upon arriving, I was greeted with warm welcoming smiles and a family friendly atmosphere. Yes everyone who works there is dressed up, however, I didn’t feel the pressure to dress in my best business attire and felt just comfortable in my jeans & sweater. The overall building is very well kept and they offer many beverages/​refreshments for people while the shop or wait in the lobby.
Bruce was a fantastic dealer to work with and he answered any and all questions I had. Though they didn’t have the car I wanted in stock on the lot that day, he was able to get it shipped to me and ready to drive away in less than 24 hours! Working with Bruce really felt like I was dealing with family, and not a suited up business man. He was very knowledgable in the company/​products, was very thorough with the process, and really showed his years of professionalism with the way he handled himself.
My parents bought their second Lexus from them almost 15 years ago and I’m happy to say that service now is just as amazing as it was back then. I will definitely be back to buy from them again in the future! If you are looking at Lexus dealerships in the area, make sure you put this at the top of your list to check out!

Wasn’t planning to buy anything but ended up leasing a RX 350 from Jae. Overall not a terribly painful process. There was a mishap with my existing car after they drove it to appraise it — the car was left in gear and made it challenging for us to drive again but they totally took care of us and clearly felt bad about it. I appreciate their quick action they took to resolve this issue even though it was frustrating for both parties. Jae was pleasant and explained leasing very clearly. Even though I had leased cars before, he explained it in detail which was very helpful. When signing papers, they went through the usual upsells which is a bit annoying but it’s hard to get around this process when buying a car. I love my new car and am happy with the purchase and process.

I had a great experience working with both Jonathan (sales) and Frank (GM). My buying cycle was about 6 weeks and my family never felt any pressure to speed things up. It was just great service and an enjoyable experience. They really took great care of us. I highly recommend this dealership if you are looking for a Lexus.

I was interested in a (slightly) used vehicle that they had for sale. I came in and they «ran the numbers» for me to see what the monthly payment would be. After we filled out a credit report, they came back and said that we qualify for the best rate from BECU, which I knew going into it because we have excellent credit. They told me what the APR % would be an drew up all the paperwork, which we signed. They gave us the keys and sent us home. A few days later, they called me and said we needed to come back in to sign all the paperwork again because they had «accidentally» offered the car to us at a lower rate than BECU was even offering at that time. The dealership had flat out lied to us that we could even get that rate in the first place — it was such a bate and switch move! Since we had taken it home, showed it off to our family, and our kids were so excited about it, we didn’t want to return it at that point — even though it was now going to cost us significantly more each month. When I spoke to the manager and expressed my frustration, he said «well, I can’t make every customer happy.» — unbelievable!

Just had an oil change and is was my first time there… Michael was my service guy and a super big help! Everyone else seemed nice And courteous … I would definitely be a returning customer

I dropped off my car for a 30K mile service. Next morning I was told this service would cost almost $ 1,400! When I picked up the car I realized that they added a whole bunch of services I did not authorize in addition to 30K mile service. Not impressed.

Service department convicted me to never have another Lexus. While the gal that greeted us was very pleasant, once we got to a desk to check in for our appointment the representative immediately made us feel like he was irritated we were there to drop our $ 500 that morning. Beuchle I believe was his last name, and could not have been ruder or colder, and he didn’t seem better with others. We were passed off to another rep after some back and forth with parts. We were told a time of an hour wait. An hour and 40 minutes later we looked and saw that it appeared that our car was done, though no one had come to let us know. The most rude and slow service department I’ve ever experienced.

Got a 2016 es300h from this dealership. I live 5 minutes from Lexus of bellevue and the Bellevue dealership was slow and poor at providing the information I needed to make the purchase. While I’m sad I’ll not get to take advantage of the vip car was program that often I’m happy with my purchase. If you want a no nonsense dealer that judges you on your ability to purchase a vehicle and not on how you look then this is the place for you.

Came home last week with our 3^rd Lexus from this dealership in 6 years. Absolutely love the customer service here, I have never had any issues! Everyone has a smile on their face and they genuinely seem like they all enjoy working there! Love the snacks and refreshments while you wait and the comfy leather sofas too. Definitely would recommend this dealership if you’re looking for a Lexus!

Came in for my 10k service! And always greeted by such friendly staff. Good to know that customer service is best. Love the lounge with refreshments and drinks. Will be back more to get my service vehicle here and what not :) ! I have two Lexus’s. The first I bought from Lexus of Serramonte in SF with a lackluster experience. I just went into Lexus of Tacoma and met with Ron Stephens. He test drove a couple RX’s with me and made me feel like I was his only customer. I ended up leasing a new RX 350 F Sport and I love it! I was there for service on my ES300h and ended up with two cars (giving one to my boyfriend). Anyway I digress, Kim in finance was awesome and friendly and I always work with Jon Heffernan in the service area. Make sure you contact Ron Stephens before you go in and set up an appt. You won’t be sorry!

I recently totalled my car and was not planning on having to buy a new car. After much research, I decided to test drive at Lexus of Tacoma and chose to lease. From the minute I walked in to inquire until the minute I drove away in my new car, the experience was outstanding. My salesman Mike made things so smooth, and stress free. This is a fantastic place!

Better come dressed in your Sunday best. If you come in anything less, don’t expect good service. The snobbery, pretentiousness, and ostentatiousness of the dealership salesmen in conjunction with very pushy sales tactics definitely detracted me from buying a vehicle from this dealership.

I am writing this review because I just checked the internet and they STILL have that stupid BAIT AND SWITCH ad up on that popular list service. If they had taken it down when I asked them to, this BAD review would not exist.
My wife and I were shopping for a Toyota Sienna. We searched online and Lexus of Fife’s ad came up. Deal seemed real good compared to others… well it was TOO GOOD to be true. I called and they told me the van was there. My wife and I drove 20 minutes there and were told «IT SOLD YESTERDAY… LOL…I COULD HAVE SOLD THAT VAN A HUNDRED TIMES NOW!» and then the jackass started to try and sell us a different van that was overpriced.
ya, that’s called bait and switch. they post a great ad and that van either sold immediately or was transferred to another dealership. Then they lie to everyone for the months that they run the ad and tell you it’s here and waiting for you. «Come drive it!» they say over and over to interested callers. All the while the van is not there. «It sold yesterday and we haven’t had a chance to remove the ad.»
So 1 month later and this ad can still be found! Screw you, Lexus of Fife. Stop using dirty tactics to lure buyers in. It’s been up for almost two months now, that we have observed. Could be much longer. This is a well known shady dishonest business tactic.
BUYER BEWARE!!! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!

I was contacted through Unilocal by the dealership and as you can see they posted here. So to be fair, I logged in to that popular list site that Craig likes and THE AD IS STILL THERE. I took a snap shot of the screen. Ad says its been up for 27 days now. What do you think would be the chances if I call right now, that I would be told to «come on in and test drive it?» Who knows. I just know of the experience my wife and I had this one time. We called about the ad the same day we pulled it up on the computer. We were told to come in and that the van was there. We arrived to be told it sold yesterday. Everyone who has posted on this list, knows how to remove their ad instantly. When I clicked on the ad just now, it should have said, «removed by author.» BUT IT DIDN’T. Thanks for wasting more of my time, Lexus of Tacoma at Fife.

Update: I just now noticed Frank, from Lexus, claimed trying to contact me via phone. I doubt this fact, considering I am not using my full name on Unilocal,for privacy purposes. I have no idea how he would know who I am, but maybe he figured it out considering my three leased vehicles in a 4 year period of time. I would say I am a regular and loyal customer. I am open and willing to hear how Lexus will make my horrible experience right. When I was last there, for my free service I received with my lease, the salesman I got stuck with was still employed. Very disappointing that they are retaining dishonest employees.
I have been ending my leases early and re-​leasing from Lexus. At this point in time, I am tempted to let my lease run out and go to Acura, Audi, BMW, or elsewhere for my next vehicle. The Lexus navigation system is archaic and lacking features other brands have, including non-​luxury brands. This has been a known problem for years. Fix it, Lexus.

I wanted to sell my car through the online car buying website. This was one of the dealers participating in the car buying service. I own a ten year old hybrid (NOT a Lexus). During the inspection (which I did not have to pay for!) they found issues which they said I needed to go back to Ford to get corrected before they could buy it for their certified pre-​owned program. I’m not upset about this, so my review is not based on this. I’m just going to give my general impression.
Holy cow, you need your evening clothes to walk in here! I was dressed in «better» clothes and I felt under dressed! Sales staff were in full suit and tie. Even service reps were dressed a little «higher class» than I’ve seen. Plus, free latte’s hot chocolate, water… and a grand piano with classical music from a pianist.
Not to mention a HUGE HUGE aquarium.
While I was waiting for the appraisal of my car, I looked at cars on their lot. Average price, $ 88,000. This is out of my league!
Can’t comment on other things, this is just my general impression.

Things were going well trying to buy a 2013 certified GS… then I left the dealership to give myself some time to think about the purchase. That’s when I received the shady, unprofessional and pushy phone call 10 minutes after leaving that they were going to increase the price of the car by $ 2000 come Sunday and if I want the car for the price they advertised (keep in mind it was on their website for well over 1 week as the advertised price that I was looking to pay) then I’d have to purchase it that day! I’m serious! I’ve purchased from Infiniti, Acura and Lexus dealers and I’ve never experienced anything like this. My father has owned several used Lexus vehicles over his life time and he’s NEVER experienced anything like this either. This is the type of crap you’d expect from a shady «used car» dealership, but certainly not a Lexus dealer.
In all honesty, I was most likely going to purchase the car on Monday, I just needed to take a look at my finances and talk it over with my wife (she wasn’t’ able to join me at the dealership). But Lexus of Tacoma wasn’t going to provide me with that option. Sorry Lexus of Tacoma but I will never buy from you and i’ll make sure I tell everyone I know not to buy from ANY of your dealerships within your group. Thank you for the exceptional unprofessional Lexus of Tacoma experience!

Sales:
Initially, the sales person was OK… not great but OK. Pleasant and helpful and if she didn’t know the answers to my questions she found someone that did know. She never sent me the extra set of keys for the vehicle she promised me. Called twice but no joy. Note: Can’t make a promise and not keep it and expect a good rating!
Service:
I have not had a very good service experience at this dealership. It’s very expensive to get anything done. It’s usually a grand before I leave the place. I always ask them NOT to spray perfume into the vehicle as it’s too strong and we are allergic to it. They ALWAYS spray something into the car. Last time, they washed the rugs and put the mats back on the wet rug and when we picked up our Lexus it smelled sour. We could not get the sour smell out of the carpets. It’s been months now and the inside of the vehicle still reeks of sour mildew. We keep a dryer –fabric sheet– under the back seat to knock down the stench.
We also needed the heater fixed as a servo or something was clicking loudly under the dash. Took the Lexus in and they said they fixed it… it was the CD player. Got the vehicle back and the CD player no longer worked. Had to have that fixed.
Heater noise was never fixed. There are more issues but this should give the correct impression of less than professional service for a huge expense.
Note: A service manager offered to fix the smell in the vehicle but he said he was there when the car was cleaned and the inside wasn’t touched but we know better as it wasn’t returned in the same condition it was given to them. The interior never smelled before it went into service there!
