Neil came out to check our leaking hot tub and quickly diagnosed the problem. He ordered the parts which arrived very quickly and then returned immediately to work on fixing the leak. He did a great job, is very dependable and trustworthy, the kind of guy you know is honest, from meeting talking to him. Reasonable rates. I would highly recommend him for any hot tub repair issues.

Neil recently came to my home to service my hot tub. He was kind enough to stop by on his time off and brought his beautiful fiancé and daughter who were very friendly and a pleasure to visit with. He treated the water and was able to locate the leak on my tub rather quickly and was prompt to inform me of my options to repair once he had researched the parts needed. I found Neil via Unilocal and he has been my go to spa repair person. He takes his time with the repair, explains things calmly and clearly. While he can get very busy and may take a day or two to check out the spa — it is worth the wait. I feel I can trust his experience and workmanship. I have had two issues with my spa — unrelated to each other, which he was able to fully repair at a reasonable rate. I would recommend using Neil and Aqua Pro for your spa repair needs.

Most recently, Neil was very helpful in replacing my pool pump. He was quick to respond (same day service!) and his price was fair and reasonable. He took the time to teach me a bit about the workings of the pump and answered the many questions I had about the maintenance of the pool in general. I will definitely use Neil in the future… he is now helping with solar cover options and I expect to have the same positive experience.

Sadly, I’d paid for sub-​standard spa maintenance from The Pool Guys for years and had finally had enough (see *that* review!). I checked out other spa service companies on Unilocal,called Aqua Pro, and have been with the company ever since– about a year and a half.
I have been very happy with Neil’s service and we’re now able to enjoy our spa once again! It used to be so over-​chemicalled that we couldn’t really use it (even if we’d been willing to sit with Pool Guy spa friends, algae and slime– ugh!).
Thanks to Neil, the spa is now sparkling clean and we aren’t coughing and gagging from chlorine or bromine when we use the jets.

Neil came out and fixed both my pool sweep and spa leaks quickly and for cheaper than I could have gotten anywhere else! He is my go-​to guy for my pool and spa from now on. He only made repairs necessary. He is the first pool guy to not overcharge AND try to get me to buy all new equipment. He knows his stuff better than any of the 6 or so different pool guys I have had over to assess my problems.

I really hate to do this but considering Neal has become one of the most irresponsible business people that I’ve come across I feel like its my obligation to let other people know what they’re getting themselves into if they hire him.
Hired him to clean my pool four times a month. He showed up a total of three times in two months. I paid him for a full month because I felt sorry for him. He told me his mother had gotten ill and he had to get her bills in order. I cut him some slack and told him that I understood. Last time he showed up he didn’t bother to vacum and skimmed stuff off the surface of the pool and left me with his bill. That was on June 13^th and I haven’t seen him or heard from him. I have sent him a letter letting him know that we will no longer need his services. My husband has been cleaning the pool and I just bought myself one of those little robot guys that run along the bottom and it works like a charm! Bought it at Costco online. Now I just have to make sure I keep the chemicals balanced. At least I know that the little aquabot will clean the bottom of my pool!

Several months ago, I called Neil and he was very helpful with changing the light in my pool and making other suggestions. I then hired him to maintain my pool starting a week before a period that I would be out of the country for three weeks.
I thought maybe I missed him the first time he was to come, but on the day I was to leave town, my pool turned green. I called his number and got the message that his voice mail was full. Later I called and he picked up. He said he did not service my pool as promised, made no apology and said he would come out on that day and clean the pool.
When he did not appear by 6 PM. I again tried to call and his voice mail was full.
It is a good thing that I became ill and could not leave on my trip, because no one would have been able to reach me and the pool would have been a disaster and our house/​dog sitter would have panicked.
I had high hopes that he would be a helpful, dependable, reasonably priced pool guy, but he completely let me down.

I had a 20 year old filter pump die. The technology was very old, and the plumbing was very convoluted. Neil was really helpful in selecting new equipment and did a great job of installation. I did do some comparison shopping, and he also had the best price.

I called Neil who responded very quickly to replace my spa motor and leak coming from my pool system. Neil fixed it in a timely manner and was considerably cheaper than an estimate of repairs that was recommended by the spa dealer. Neil provided excellent service. I highly recommend using his service.

My spa was in need of repair, and I found Neil on Unilocal.I called him to see if he could come out for an estimate. He came out the SAME DAY and fixed it. He was able to determine what was wrong despite the fact that there were two separate electrical problems preventing the spa motor from running properly. He was courteous and patiently explained everything to me about what was wrong and how he corrected it. He also gave some advice on preventive maintenance.
Some screws on the panel covering the spa motor went missing while he was working on it but we found them on the ground later. Good thing we have lots of extras around here.
I would definitely call Neil again if we need spa repair in the future.

He came out for the initial diagnostics, and then replaced the filter. He was done with this, in 2 days. He charged a total of $ 100 for both the diagnostics and the replacement labor.
Our pool was at that point a dark green color. I had already bought Baquasil chemicals online. I didn’t feel up to cleaning it the first time. So he agreed to clean it for another $ 100. He had to make several visits to do this. He was always there within a day at most, always prompt and on-​time.
We were very happy that he was very helpful in explaining things for me. He was very frienly, never pushing any other services.
And the labor charge was very reasonable, considering the fact that he had to make several visits for the cleaning, but he didn’t charge by hour, but for the whole task.
