I WAS a regular costumer, but my orders are mainly placed online and someone pick them up for me. The food is good, pastries are good. The story changes if you go there in person and if you are not Armenian, they treat you like scum, especially this one lady who was very rude. My bad experience today: Two other guys(Armenian) got there after me, and they were served before any of the clerks even asked me if I needed help. When they finally helped me, she was very rude!!! I’ve seeing that some other people have complained about the same, but it seems that the issue continues(probably the rude lady is the owner of the place) not a nice way to do business!

Don’t be turned off by the awkwardness that surrounds you when you enter, order, or sit to eat. I promise the food is worth it, especially at such a great price! I went to Masis today with my brother. He’s been a few times, I have not. To the right is a case full of pastries, to the left is a little Middle Eastern grocery. I ordered the #10, chicken breast with hummus, rice, and Greek salad. Everything was full of flavor. The chicken was juicy. The hummus was delicious. The salad was well dressed and seasoned. We ended up ordering platters for a party this weekend. We also tried every flavor macaroon(NORAGRETS). Oh and I also had 2 chocolate covered strawberries. The macaroons were delicious! My favorite were the mocha and the lemon. The strawberries were nice and sweet! I definitely recommend stopping in. If it gets too awkward, just take it to go.

Food might be good but getting your order placed or corrected is a mission or near impossible, I payed for my food once already next I ask for a change of side, I get told that it’s too late since its been payed for they can’t change a side dish lol this is the 21st century we thrive for customer service but this place doesn’t care! The cashier told me that is too late that I payed and I can’t change a side dish lol come on really? Great way for me to pay extra and get it on the side right? Wrong!!! That’s fucked up! Next the cashier asks me if I payed for the extra I said no! So she recharges me on 2 other plates of food that aren’t my order!!! It’s the person next to me! So she gives me the residual from deducting the difference and it was still 50 cents short lol!!! Haha wow when I ordered my plate 20 minutes ago I just saw the cashier grab the meat from the meat tray and give it too the cooks in the back, this is unsanitary 100% not only are they unsanitary they are disrespectful and don’t know what they are talking about, sad to see these types of business’s still open. They need to be regulated by actual hard working citizens not by people who don’t understand the words«customer service»

Love going here! Not only is the food super yummy but the staff is very nice as well. All of their plates are delicious and the price is unbeatable. For only $ 5 you can get a chicken kabob plate with grilled veggies and rice! I have ordered multiple times for a get together at home and everyone loved it. The cakes are yummy as well!

This place is ok, I got the chicken breast wrap, When I arrived it wasnt too busy but they took over half an hr w/my order. I told them just to wrap it to go. My order was missing the cucumber yogurt side I ordered and paid for.

If your in a hurry and on a budget and want good Lebanese — Mediterranean food, then try out Masis Bakery. I tried the beef Lula plate for only $ 4.99 so how could you be that. The food tasted fresh and was filling too. The place looked nice and the staff was very friendly and made sure I was okay while I waited for my food. I’m not from this area but I would definitely come here again if I was. So next time you drive on by Sunland Boulevard check out this place.

Over the years, I’ve come to find out: Kabobs are generally good, especially beef luleh, and fairly priced. Bakery stuff is generally not good. Usually old. We’ve tried walnut cookies, tasted like fridge. Old single slice cakes. Etc. Some of their pastries are ok, but honestly, it’s trial and error. Those tiny multi colored tarts are probably the only thing that are always fresh. They’re on the top shelf, I think they’re around .75 cents each. If I have to get something in a pinch, that’s usually what I get. Customer service is hit and miss for sure, as with most Armenian bakeries(and I say this because I’m Armenian and I have lots of experience in that department). I only go here when I must, and I live literally 2 minutes away. That being said, their fresh bread is good(barbari/matnakash/pouri). Great with borsht, for breakfast, etc.

Ok so i ordered birthday cake for my daughter from Masis bakery, i told them will pick it up at 9:30 am, went there 9:32 and it wasn’t ready yet. They asked me to wait 10 more minutes, cake was ready at 10:20. One hour late, cake was beautiful and food was good too, but i would never order any major cakes or food from them ever again just because of time.

I had pre-ordered a 100 $ worth of meat for a birthday party and was told it would be ready at 6pm today. When I arrived at 6:15 with my receipt, they had nothing ready –and to my shock they forgot my order!!! I had 30 guests waiting for a warm meal and had nothing! This is unacceptable and I will NEVER do business here and will make sure to tell all my family and friends to never go to this ridiculous place of business. UNACCEPTABLE !!

Their pastries aren’t bad — your usual Armenian/Middle Eastern puff pastries and cakes that are slightly on the dry side. However, their cooked to order kebab is impressive! You get a place with bed of rice, grilled peppers and tomatoes, 2 pieces of beef luleh with some hummus on the side for less than $ 8! Good quality too. Flaws: parking and poor customer service.

I work nearby and stopped in for lunch. They were very busy! I got the #5 chicken and hummus plate. I thought the flavor on the chicken was good but I think I will do the chicken breast next time cause the texture was a bit weird for me. Everything was good and it’s a great price!!! Lunches around $ 6 It was a pretty long wait for our food but then again they were busy! They also have an amazing looking bakery selection including cakes. I tried a custard ponchik. It was tasty but I would like to try it earlier in the day when they are made fresh maybe ;)

Give only one star because I can’t do zero. Super disappointed, I ordered 80 cupcakes for my stepdaughters 15th birthday and they came out horrible done. The flavors was not good at all and they were deliver an hour and a half later and the person that delivered them was rude and didn’t even offer to help setting them up. Tatev was a sweetheart with me but the rest of the people and the quality of the product very disappointing.

The food is great! Not only their traditional Armenian meats, bbqs, salads, but also their sweets. I’ve walked in here various times to get quick deserts … In n out. During those times, the service has been Mediocre and didn’t make me feel like I was in a friendly environment, since the older employees seem very judgmental. However, I decided to order some kebab bbq catering a few times, and once came in with my wife and child. A few of the employees went out of their ways to help us decide on some choices, and even down-sold a few things they thought weren’t worth us spending the money on. One of them specifically admired my fam and upon checkout of our catering order, my wife wanted to have lunch there as well. They gave us a complimentary lunch and coffee without charging us a dim. Super nice of them! Although I did make a large catering order, they didn’t have to treat myself and my wife and child to that. Totally genuine. I would recommend this place. But If it feels like bad service, give it another shot and/or have some lunch there to digest their hospitality.

The food is five star. Who but the service is 0 stars. They are just so rude. It seems as though they do not like people who are not of their kind. It seems to me that they are nice to Armenian or other Middle Eastern people but very rude to everyone who is not. One of the older ladies behind the counter is just plain rude. She looks at you would be the dead eyes. It’s like I’m bothering her something. If you don’t like people who are not like you and then opening a business is probably not a good idea. Especially a business deals with the public. There food is good. The pastry is just ok. There chocolate I’m not sure it’s really expensive so I have not tried any of it. It looks nice.

Looked for this little gem in a small strip mall, when a co worker brought in a raisin cake(more like butter bundt — large $ 6, small $ 4), but very good. Slightly crunchy outside and moist inside. Better yet near my work. I discovered they sell lulas and other combos range from $ 5 and up. Perfect. place to have meal and decadent desserts… Nutella filled pastries to say the least. I ordered the #1 beef/chicken combo, 9.99 — good for 2, Nutella Napoleon and nutella ponchik. I will definitely come back to try the many variety of items. Don’t come hungry or you might impulse buy… lol

I love their kabob meals here! They always cook them fresh once you order. I usually order their $ 4.99 chicken or beef louleh plates that comes with a good amount of rice and vegetables. I love their Beef Piroshkis also, they’re so cheap for $ 0.85 and yummy. Their desserts are all delicious as well. I love ordering and trying out all of their food, I’ve never been disappointed with anything. I’ve never ate and loved so much Armenian food until I came across this place. :)
