I really enjoy the way my hair looks when its cut right and I have been coming to this place for at least a year now! Sydney is my stylist and she is great. She is personable and has a fine eye for hair. They offer a number of beverages while your there like coffee, tea, wine, or even a beer. They are good for kids though for sure and I have seen many pictures of the brides hair they have done for weddings as well! I appreciate going to this hair salon with its warm yet spiffy atmosphere!

I have trusted Sydney (stylist at Hillary Faye Design) with some big hair moments in my life, and she always comes through. She listens to what her customers want and asks questions along the way to make sure she gets it just right. Sydney styled my hair on my wedding day, and spending the morning with her was a great way to start my day off! Just a few weeks ago she helped me with a big hair change where she cut off about two feet of hair! She did a great job, and taught me a few short hair tricks. So glad I’ve found a great hair stylist in the area with great prices!

When you have curly hair, like me, and it comes time to getting it cut anxiety is mainly what you feel. I’m new to Washington and was apprehensive about getting it done by someone new, I read the reviews and finally decided it had to be done. Sydney was amazing she brought life back to hair, gave me a bunch of tips on how to give my curls more volume, I was so happy and extremely impressed. If you have curly hair snag Sydney she amazing!

I found Hillary through a new friend with a great hair color and haircut! I was new Washington, and decided to give her a try, I had nothing to lose.
Now, I’ve been coming for over 1 year and drive 1 hour to see her.
Hillary has never disappointed with color or cut– she gives great suggestions and tips.
Her salon is so cute and such a great reflection of who she is– colorful, fun, energetic, and creative! She is so easy to talk to, I look forward to coming to catch up every 7 weeks! Today I brought my daughter and she had a GREAT experience!!!

I met Sydney when she was graduating from Gene Juarez. I needed someone who understands wavy, coarse hair, and she nailed it! It also helped that she was in the top of her class.
I have not allowed anyone else to touch my hair since meeting her. Sydney is like a sculptorist, and my hair is her medium.
I followed her to Hillary Faye Designs, and haven’t looked back.

Hillary is awesome. Getting my hair cut can be a stressful thing but Hillary is super easy to work with and I know she’ll talk with me to get what I want.

Hillary Faye Designs is a great family friendly salon in Sumner. How great? My friend and I drive from Mill Creek to see Hillary. I’ve got super thick, course hair, my friend has fine, thin hair and we both come out looking amazing. She gives clear, honest advice and strives to make each client feel special and beautiful.
Her one room/​chair salon is small, but quiet and has easy to find. Plenty of room for a girlfriend or two to hang out while you’re getting your hair done. Hillary doesn’t take walk-​ins, but she has a flexible schedule and strives to accomodate clients scheduling needs.
In addition to cuts, she also offers Balayage color, foils, and gloss. I think the next time I go in I might try the Keratin Complex straightening treatment. I’ll update my review after I’ve tried it.
Book early, as she does fill up. Also, she does alot of weddings on the weekend, so I tend to book around her wedding schedule.
Plus: Easy access from the 410, flexible hours. Con: 50 minutes from where I live.
