Taste of Heaven

Delicious! Neighbor and i stopped on way home from dr appt to try them out. Didnt know they were open except that the front door was propped open. The defy need lights around some of the windows to help get the word out while people are out n about.
We will be back for more and will bring family with us next time

Wow, what a great experience! The service and staff was excellent, really felt welcomed as soon as my family and I walked in; little did we know, it was Karaōke night (Wednesday)!!! Made me want to hit the mike and sing a couple of «Chente» songs (w/​the encouragement of tequilla, of course).
I ordered the Pina Rellena. OMG … very delicious … ate like a champ!!! Wifey ordered the Molcajeta de Mariscos that could feed an army, the broth dipped w/​bread was very good!!!
My kids ordered a cheeseburger, the size of a «Fred Flintstones brontosaurs burger» that had flavor and was juicy. And the breaded shrimp, they both finished there plates!!! How do ya like them apples!!!
Seriously, this is a gem, we will be coming back soon, … finally found a place w/​good mariscos in the area!!!

Delicioso! Great place, great service and great food! So so good, won’t be surprised if it gets very busy and pack some day. Will come back for sure!

Great service, nice ambience.
I ordered a guisado a la mexicana. Delicious except for the meat had a bit too much grizzle.
My daughter ordered a cheeseburger and she LOVED it! Nice big patties in a fresh bun. Ordered a virgin piña colada which wasn’t too good but my cranberry-​orange drink was just right.
Looking forward to coming back soon!

Just had a cheeseburger from here and it was pretty good. It’s like the poor man’s kumas corner or lockdown. I liked it tho, for 8 bucks I sure got my money’s worth. Also, the customer service was excellent. It was my second time there too, the first time I had the heavens burger. Man that burger is huge forreal. It’s pretty good but too much burger for me. Today I was left happy with just the cheeseburger. That still is pretty big too. Thanks :)

I finally decided to try this place out living only a few blocks away. I was skeptical at first because I haven’t seen much traffic going in or out. I went for lunch and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised.
The waitress was very nice and took very good care of us. The bartender was a nice guy chatting with us as well.
We were given complimentary cream of broccoli soup and it was delicious. After that, we were given what seemed to be hand made tortillas with chicken. That was also very very good.
I tried their «heaven» burger with fries. The fries were sooo good and the burger-​well, I LOVE burgers. I go all over Chicago in search of the best burger. This burger gets 3.5 stars which for me is EXCELLENT! The burger was huge! I literally ate ¼ of it. Their burger is bread, meat, bread, meat, and bread. My only suggestion is to get rid of the middle bread. That way you can taste more burger than bread!
Will I go back? Definitely!

I’ve been here twice. The first time I was like; Let me see how heaven tastes, so I ended up trying their burger. the burger I made my taste buds flaring with delight. I was like omg, I never seen it that big. the heavens burger is huge!
I thought I was in man vs. Food.
I struggled so much to bite the burger, it hurt my jaw, but was well worth stretching my mouth. The burger patty was very tasty and bread was soft and toasty. The flavor was out of this world.
Second time was when I went the all you can eat buffet for only $ 6. They had plenty of choices to choose from. I decided to try all of the dishes there. All the food was great., but I really liked their orange chicken and steak stew.
I do recommend adding a salad and desserts but for only $ 6 Its still a great deal. I recommend to try this place once.

Great place and friendly service! The food has great flavor! A great variety of food and there is something for everyone.
