We had our wedding reception here and couldn’t be happier. The set up looked beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. John the owner is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend the European Chalet Banquets.

We had our wedding here! John was incredibly accommodating with everything! So happy to have worked with him! The food was great, our vendors came together nicely, and the service was outstanding!

Loved this place the first time I stepped into the banquet. But my fiancé and I had to check out other places first before we made our final decision. After looking at our facilities, we decided to choose European Chalet Banquets for our wedding reception. My fiancé said this place is perfect for us!
Our wedding was last Saturday, 04/25/2015…our guests were from Chicagoland, Indiana, out of state & out of the country. And the location of European Chalet was perfect for all of our guests, by the highway and on a main street, clearly visible right when you get off the highway.
The décor inside the facility: European and classy yet very comfortable, their main banquet upstairs and their super cool wine cellar as well. Food choices were abundant. Our food tasting was no joke, John, the owner, told us not to eat prior to the tasting and he definitely was not saying that lightly.
The day of our wedding reception, everything was PERFECT! We had given John our place cards, greeting card box holder, champagne flutes, cake knife & server, our guest signing tree and our dvd with our slideshow on it several days before our event. He took care of everything!!! We came upstairs after our cocktail hour in the wine cellar and everything was in place just like we requested. Unfortunately, Our limo broke down in their parking lot and John had to take care of all of that. I had no idea the limo even broke down until John told a couple days later. He made sure our wedding reception was seamless and it definitely was!
Overall, European Chalet Banquets was the best place for us. Impeccable customer servce from John and his staff from the moment we first walked in there to tour the venue til the moment we hugged him and thanked him at the end of our reception. Their family has owned European Chalet for years and I understand why they are still around:
1) family owned and loved
2) dependable in every sense
3) affordable — fresh rose centerpieces, wedding cake, chair covers & sashes included in our package — could not find that anywhere else!
4) professional & friendly — John & his staff
5) AMAZING FOOD — all of our guests could not stop talking about the appetizers and the choices we made for our family style dinner
6) clean — banquet rooms, washrooms, parking lot: very well kept
7) classic décor — love the ornate ceilings and all the hard wood flooring
European Chalet is amazing!!! John goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. Next major event will definitely be here. Could not think of a better place to have our next celebration, European Chalet made our first big celebration as husband and wife such a memorable and wonderful experience. We need to have a new family tradition and stick with the excellence at European Chalet. We highly recommend them for any future events you may have… ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!

I had a wedding reception at European Chalet on January 3^rd, 2015. I can’t express how grateful I am to have found this venue. Choosing your venue can come with a lot of anxiety, but when we met with John to discuss possibly booking there, My parents, my husband, and I felt immediately at ease.
You can tell John enjoys what he does, and he speaks with so much enthusiasm about the European Chalet. After booking, we went to one of the food tasting events. We had such a fun time and got to try all the amazing food. We met the servers and the bartenders, and we got a sneak peak at the great service that was to come for the reception.
We choose the package where everything is included, so everything was basically done for us. The most stressful part was picking the food, only because there were so many dishes we enjoyed.
The reception went so smooth, and our guests were very impressed, and I have nothing but great memories of my wedding. The tables were beautiful. The food was so plentiful and delicious. The sweet table got many complements. For the late night food, we chose the Roasted Pig. It probably sounds crazy to some people, but it was such a hit among the crowd.
I would book there again if I was given the chance.

We had our wedding here about 3 weeks ago and it was fabulous! John was great to work with and on that day, everything went well! We ran a bit behind schedule but the staff worked with us and everything fell into place. i would recommend this place to others as it was affordable, included the cake and open bar! Although we didn’t get to taste the food (we were off walking around and saying hi to our guests) we heard it was good, especially that cucumber soup! Thank you for contributing to making our wedding day so memorable!

Just held our child’s Baptism and had a great time. Food is great, staff is exceptional, and Joe is a great bartender (made an old fashion just I like it!).

Actually I’d give 4.5 stars if that was possible, knocking off a half star for the food, which was good and fresh but I wouldn’t say it was amazing. But overall, the place is great and my husband and I were completely satisfied and happy to have held our wedding reception at European Chalet Banquets a couple months ago. The venue was just what we were looking for — spacious, affordable, with great customer service, and decent food served family style!
As everyone else has said, John, his family, and staff go above and beyond for their clients. John let us come back at least three times, maybe more, during the four months leading up to the wedding to try more food before deciding on our menu and to check out the space as we were trying to figure out how we wanted to decorate. On the day of the event, John let my mom come in much earlier in the day to decorate the hall before heading to the chapel where we had our wedding ceremony. Then during the reception at the banquet hall, everything went incredibly smoothly and the service was superb. John was also really great at responding to emails during the time leading up to the wedding and it was just a really positive experience working with him and his staff. We couldn’t have asked for any better for our wedding!

The European Chalet is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I recently had our wedding here. John was great! He was so accommodating, answered all our questions, and would promptly respond to emails. He even allowed my mother in there early to set up a candy table. The day went off without a hitch!
The room was set up beautifully! It took my breath away. It was absolutely amazing how everything was included — centerpieces, cake, and linens. The food is incredible too! Our guests were RAVING about it. I feel like great wedding food is an urban legend, but not at the European Chalet!
I cannot say enough kind words about this place! I cannot wait to have another event here too! Thank you so much John and staff for giving us a beautiful and stress free event!

This place is absolutely incredible! My husband and I just had our wedding here this past Saturday. From the beginning, John was incredibly helpful & accommodating with all of our requests. The night of the wedding was simply amazing! The staff and bartenders go above and beyond to help you! The food is great! Drinks — even better! :) We will definitely be back for future events. Couldn’t be happier with the top quality service and extremely friendly staff! All of our guests had an absolute blast! You will not be disappointed with this place!

This is a wonderful banquet hall for any milestone in your life. Both the atmosphere and service are highly exceptional.
I had my baby shower here last week. My mother-​in-​law and I worked closely with John (owner) to make sure everything was perfect. John is very patient and attentive and will respond either by phone or email. He is a smart businessman and explained that the per-​person cost is all inclusive because he pays his workers more than minimum wage to offer his customers quality service.
The décor in the Warsaw room is beautiful. There are paintings of European landmarks including the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It was a hot day in the mid 90s, but the room was nice and cool. Another thing that makes this place great: they use large round tables meant for 12 people, but seat 10, so there is plenty of room for everyone. The room itself is very spacious and we didn’t feel crowded.
If nothing else satisfies you, the food will. I swear if the service and décor were crappy, I would still give this place 4 stars just based on the quality of the food. You are getting authentic European food from «little old Polish ladies» in the kitchen. The chicken noodle soup tasted like it came from my grandma’s stove top, and the chicken vesuvio was to die for!
I highly recommend this hall if you are looking for your wedding or shower.

We threw my mothers 50^th birthday party here last week and it was awesome!!! the owner john is great he really worked with us the party was great the service was awesome the decoration was great I swear there isn’t one bad thing I could stay about this place. Very clean, great food I love the European Chalet Banquets. I definitely will be doing my next event their. **************

If Icould give 6 stars, I would. We had our wedding here back in October. My husband and I are very low key and wanted a simple affair; what we got was a simply perfect and elegant affair!
We picked European Chalet for a few reasons. First, John actually takes care of and spends money on the upkeep of his facilities; many banquet halls in the area are so outdated, but European Chalet has beautiful wood floors, ambient lighting and a well kept up interior. Second, we had attended a small family event here earlier in the year and I could not stop thinking about the food we had and how good it would be again (coming from a Polish family, I knew I had to feed everybody well to have a great wedding). Third, John was willing to work with us and our budget to have the simple luncheon that we wanted without pushing us into the formal wedding package that seemed required at many other locations. Lastly, the location was convenient and easy to find for out of town guests.
Thanks to European Chalet, we had a gorgeous day and the food was a hit… they even let my family take home some of the leftovers because they were raving about it so much. Outside of the menu, we were not very big into micro-​managing all the details and left some items up to them. In every little detail under their control, they went above and beyond; the centerpieces were gorgeous along with the flowers on the gift table and they set up our tier of cupcakes perfectly. Their projection system also worked without a hitch.
I would reccommend them for the food, ambience, service, location, and did I mention the food? :)

The European Chalet was amazing to work with! I had my wedding reception there last month. They were so flexible with everything! John is fabulous and will ensure your day is perfect. Everyone raved about the food for WEEKS after the event. The service was impeccable. Everything went really smoothly and everyone had a blast! They let us decorated how we wanted and gave us a great price for our off-​season wedding. They are in a convenient location that was really easy to find for our out of town guests. European Chalet is amazing and would recommend it to anyone!

I would highly recommend European Chalet for your next party. We went to a Baby shower on Sunday. The room was beautiful and large. The theme of the room was wine so there were pretty murals on the walls and the pictures turned out really nice. There were over 60 people at the shower and there was alot of room for the kids to run around and play. The food was excellent. It was family style and even as a vegetarian, there was plenty of food to eat. I especially enjoyed the cream of mushroom soup, red potatoes and the broccoli & cauliflower salad. The staff was wonderful and very attentive to our needs.

This banquet hall was fabulous in accommodating everything I had wanted for my wedding, and all the staff was wonderful to work with. The food was amazing, all my guests still rave about it. They also gave me a phenomenal wedding cake. Definately would recommend to anyone.
