Established in 1980.

We opened our first store in 1980 on Melrose Ave here in Los Angeles. We were one of the first retail stores on Melrose. A few years later, we moved to a new location, still on Melrose Ave, but several blocks west of where we were. We stayed there until the mid-​2000s when we relocated to Studio City.

Bob became an avid collector of all this Disney back in the late 1970s. As he built his collection, he realized that if he was into this cool vintage Disney stuff, there must be other people just like him, and he decided to open a store that stocked only Walt Disney related items. This was 8 years before the official Disney Stores opened their first location in Glendale. Back then, people thought he was mad to specialize in just one company’s product, but the store was a success from the day he opened his doors… and more than 35 years later, we’re still here!
