Nadia is truly a gem! My husband and I took lessons for our wedding dance and it was our favorite part of the wedding planning process! I am a terrible dancer and have not done well with dance lessons I’ve taken in the past, but Nadia is a gifted teacher. We chose a song that had frequent changes in tempo and she was able to create a beautiful and fun dance that was also easy to learn. We learned so much with each session! She has a positive and warm personality and immediately makes you feel comfortable. She’s the best and we cannot recommend her highly enough!

My fiancé and I have nothing but amazing things to say about Nadia. He and I are not good dancers at all and we were very nervous to have to do a wedding dance at all, much less take dance lessons. Nadia has not only given us a beautiful dance to learn, but she has adjusted it to our needs (and our personalities) and she has made us feel confident in the steps. She has also been SO patient with us! We have continually come back to her having to re-​learn things because we haven’t practiced enough, and she hasn’t once made us feel bad about it at all. She is so kind, funny, and fun to be around. You will absolutely be thrilled if you choose to go with Nadia for your wedding dance lessons (or any other kind!).

Nadia is amazing. My significant other and I have been taking classes in anticipation of an August cruise. I have a dance background, but he has no dance experience whatsoever. She is amazing and patient with both of us and has taught us so much in just a few lessons. I am so thrilled to have found her because I have wanted to do this for such a long time. Finally we will be able to dance instead of walking around the floor. You will be so surprised and thankful for having found Nadia.

I have been taking salsa lessons with Nadia and she is AMAZING!!! Patient and caring and fun!!! I’ve learned SO much… I started with salsa and now am learning cha cha, swing and waltz… She’s the best of the best and I plan on taking classes with her forever!!!

I gave my mother and her boyfriend a ballroom dance lesson with Nadia for Christmas. Nadia was both patient and fun with these this couple, who met in dancing school 75 years ago! She renewed their interest in dancing together — they’ve both bought dancing shoes — took photos of them dancing together as keepsakes, and all in all made for a festive outing on a recent Monday afternoon.

Nadia is so wonderful! She is so much better than the 1^st lessons we had. They were twice as much for shorter lessons. With Nadia you have a private studio with your own music instead of sharing a room with many other people and having to dance to the music others have on.
On just the 1^st session she got us past our hang ups and got us dancing!
I’ve never danced before and is was so fun to be able to do it! She is great at explaining everything so non-​dancers get it, and she picked moves that work well with with us so we look like we know what we are doing! It’s really fun to learn from her, unlike the other lessons that were stressful and frustrating.
Last but not least she is adorable and fun to spend an evening with! We love her!

Nadia was a great instructor. My fiancé and I worked with her for our first dance. She was very flexible and created dance moves just the way we wanted to have our first dance. She is very quick to reply and punctual with her appointment. Overall she has a very positive and friendly approach that makes it very fun to work with her :)) we had a great time and lots of fun! This turned out to be one of the least stressful part of our wedding preparation.

Nadia was such a great instructor. She was so kind and wonderful. My husband and I took classes for our first dance, we had no experience. She was so patient and did an amazing job teaching us. She is extremely professional and was so kind. She helped us come up with a dance that was perfect for us. We had a great time taking classes from her. I would highly recommend taking dance classes from Nadia, she is wonderful.

Nadia taught my husband and I the most romantic waltz for our wedding! She was Incredibly professional and was always fun to work with! I found it amazing how she was able to work with both of us at the same time considering my husband had barely any dance experience and I have danced my whole life. She always knew exactly what notes to provide to both of us to make our routine look even better. I couldn’t be happier with our experience with Nadia and I am so blessed to have had the most beautiful dance with my husband at our wedding!

When I started dancing, I originally signed up for ballroom dancing, but it was the salsa that captivated me. Perhaps it is more correct to say that it was Joe E. Sabor and Nadia Maximova teaching the salsa that really did it —– they are magical, and watching them together seems to have quite an effect on most people. Nadia is beautiful, talented, sexy and flirty. Joe is equally talented, charmingly macho, and sexy in that smokey way that just adds so much to any dance routine.
Initially I took their group salsa lesson, taught by both of them together, and then started supplementing with private lessons, some with Joe and some with Nadia. They are both amazing teachers, and their suggestion to work with them alternately was brilliant. Besides the basic dance and routines, I learned wonderful «styling» tips from Nadia. Joe helped me learn to follow the lead and gave me a lot more confidence on the dance floor.
Personally, they are both great, caring people. Professionally, they are an absolute inspiration. I have been in a salsa club when Joe and Nadia entered, crossed the dance floor, and began to dance — it was something to see, and a great number of others dancing on the floor stopped to watch, and applaud afterward. I would recommend their group classes to anyone. Group classes are a good way to start, and even more fun if you collect your own group of friends and take class together. At the same time, consider even one or two private lessons —- you never have to commit to more than that, and you would be amazed what those two pack into an hour lesson — I was. I am on a tight budget; I sell things on eBay to make extra money, I don’t have a lot of cash for a splurge, but oh that salsa —- I consider my lessons with Joe and Nadia to be the best money I ever spent. Do yourself a favor and check these guys out!

Nadia is a great Salsa Instructor. I have taken with her several private Salsa lessons and group lessons. I have previous learning experience with other dancing schools but I have to say that my learning experience with her was vastly different in many ways:
1– Group classes: Nadia pays attention to every single person in the class, she frequently solicit questions and addresses all the mistakes she noticed during the class. She is very energetic during the class and this energy is passed to every single one in the group. What makes her teaching style stands out compared to other group classes is that she is very flexible, she does not mind to address ALL the personal questions. In fact, she encourages them, unlike what you may encounter in other group classes where you barely have the chance to ask. Also, one big plus of her teaching style is that she gives some leading tips, unlike most of group classes that focuses on the moves only. Addresses how handle different situations such as dancing with a person taller than you or shorter than you, beginner or advanced. In short, coming out of her group class, I assure you, you do not know only a new pattern, you can actually TEACH it !!!
2– Private classes:
Nadia is all about the small details when it comes to private class. I have benefited a lot from her group class and was able within less than a month to go out and dance with anyone in Salsa clubs. I truly appreciated her dedication in making sure that whatever you do in that lesson FLOW smoothly. So for that, she does not ignore any single detail, from synching to music beats, your moves, the lead of the hand, timing, face expression, you name it! So while her group class is good to learn a new particular pattern, the private class is all about the style of dancing, your timing, the dancing tricks, how to handle common awkward moments if they happen during dancing. I really did not expect even all that, she really teaches you how to dance in real-​life in dancing clubs, not just in ballrooms.
I guess this does not come at a surprise, she loves what she is doing. A pure dancing passionate. If you are considering to LEARN how to dance, you should try taking few classes with her and you can come and thank me later ;)

Joe is an excellent dancer and a real professional as a teacher. I took my first classes from him — was very happy. He is clearly explaining his moves for men and for ladies also, it’s very easy to follow his lead. Now when he is teaching with his partner Nadia — it’s even easier. Take your beloved and spend many romantic evenings learning how to move your body and feel sexy — best times ever!
