History

Established in 2009.

Ovation Group Productions is dedicated to providing an educational experience to children through performing arts. Through the process of participating in a full-​length musical, we give children an outlet to express their creativity. Whether performing is a child’s lifelong passion or simply an exciting extra-​curricular activity, we aim to instill children with a sense of camaraderie, responsibility, dedication, and passion, while also having fun making new friends!

Meet the Business Owner

Laurel C. and Lisa S.

Business Owner

Miss Laurel brings years of acting, singing, and dancing experience to OGP. She graduated with Honors in Musical Theatre from UC Irvine and has spent years teaching dance, voice, and acting to children throughout California. She has written and produced numerous musical productions. As an actress, Laurel has appeared in TV shows, commercials, and theatrical productions up and down the West Coast, and most recently was a performer and Dance Captain for Disney Cruise Line.

Miss Lisa was born in LA and attended the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks. Later she graduated from UC Irvine with Honors in Acting. She has studied theatre and voice with some of LA’s most noted teachers. In addition to teaching, Miss Lisa is a professional actress with growing credits. Lisa began teaching 6 years ago and has since been dedicated to spreading her passion for theatre around Los Angeles. Her bright spirit and love for children fills the classroom, and her creative writing skills are an asset to OGP.
