Like the other reviewers have said, the staff here is outstanding. They are very friendly and go out of their way to help you out. Every time we’ve gone here we’ve had the same good experience, and have always found what we needed.

I am an experienced (read «old») do-​it-​yourselfer, and this place is way better than HD or Lowes. They have an extensive inventory of everyday items. The hardware section is particularly well stocked with fasteners and oddball items like snaprings, anchors, etc.
Best is that the staff is really helpful, although some are more knowledgeable than others. I got the the best price on a Weber grill here too.

I bypass the «Big Box» stores for this store because of the people. Never have they been anything but helpful, willing to take whatever time was needed and made sure I got what I needed, not just what they wanted to sell. Great neighbor and terrific assistance.

I gave this store five stars primarily because of my interactions with their manager. I went in their last week to buy some window screen and the manager noticed me walking around and asked if he could help. He showed me where the items were and also informed me that if I put them in a free bucket, I would get 25% off since it was their weekend sale.
I hadn’t noticed the sign announcing the sale on the way in, so this guy saved me 25% just because he felt like treating a customer well.
They also seem to have a good selection of tools and hardware for such a small town store.
