For the members of this cult organization, the word «addict» is used to defeat the remaining self-​esteem of its members by mis-​representing an eating disorder as being an addiction. Once done, each member, rather than, «doing service to the others» participates in a scheme that enslaves and gives license to a selfishness that harms both its members and others around them.
