Wellness Connection

After dealing with a pretty serious emergency situation with one of my family members over the weekend, I called The Wellness Connection for help. I wasn’t really sure what direction to go in or what to do and needed someone to help me sort stuff out. My husband called to discuss important stuff like insurance and therapist types and options to better understand what they offered. He said that his call was handled in a wonderful way. While the doctor doesn’t accept our insurance, there was an option to pay cash privately and then pay a nominal form fee for them to help us submit it to our insurance for reimbursement. Thats an awesome service that alleviates stress!!! He didn’t book the appointment yesterday bc the wait was several days and our child needed to be seen sooner than that. We were thinking maybe just start with a discussion with our family doctor? We haven’t done this before.
Today I got a call from them that there was a cancellation and I was offered an appointment for TODAY. We went to the appointment and saw Dr Iqbal. My daughter was very pleased with the care that she received and looks forward to her follow up in 2 weeks.
The Wellness Connection was decorated in a way that felt like home. It was very comfortable and relaxing and wasn’t at all like going to the doctors… You won’t find anything anywhere else that compares with the atmosphere.
The front desk staff was welcoming and very helpful in completing paperwork and dealign with insurance stuff.
Overall this was an amazing experience and a place that I will recommend to friends and family who need care. If you’re reading this then maybe you need care, or a loved one — don’t second guess yourself… just go! They can help.

There are so many aspects to Wellness Connection — I’m surprised there aren’t any reviews yet!
My review is based solely on the Yoga and Pilates classes. I left an amazing instructor when I moved to NoVa and had been looking for a new one for a while. I tried a few here and there but none of them were quite what I was looking for. Then someone told me about Heather. My life has changed for the better again!
I absolutely love Heather’s style in yoga and pilates. She seems to have a knack for knowing all the trouble spots and giving lots of attention to those. I honestly could go on and on about why I like it, but you’re just going to have to take my word for it and the fact that I bought a 1-​year unlimited classes membership (which is not cheap, but WC offered a GREAT deal… hopefully they will again this winter…) just so I could continue stalking Heather’s classes twice a week :) If you’ve ever considered or even just wondered about yoga or pilates then give it a shot — she WILL convince you that it’s the best thing you’ve ever done for yourself… Just don’t take my spot, please!
