Peek Nightclub

I had a great time here on a bachelorette party, so I’m really glad that we came. The club itself was fine, the people were fun, and the staff was nice. The drinks were very expensive, and every time you wanted to go to the bathroom you had to leave the club (the restrooms were in the casino area) and then wait back in line to get in, so that was annoying. Bottle service was over $ 700 (for 13 people) for a few bottles of champagne, a bottle of vodka, some mixers, and red bull, so that was pretty nuts. But you are paying for the table. I’d say it was a good place for a group/​special event, but I would not go there on my own.

Club was coooo customer service was WACK!!! All I got to say if looking for dope ass hip hop go to Xhale tattoo parlor it’s empty but bring the crowd super banging

I’ve been to peek twice now. Bought a table and bottle service both times. First time we got the table spur of the moment. Good customer service then.
And then there was the weekend of 3−23−16. It was my friends birthday and we wanted to make sure a table was reserved. THREE WEEKS before my friends birthday I called the number listed on the website for reservations. I called on a Sunday and was assured if I left a message, I’d receive a call back. Nothing for a whole week. Called back TWO WEEKS before the event. NOTHING. One week before the event I resorted to messaging on Facebook, commenting on and private messaging on their Instagram. I got a message on Instagram that a manager named Josh would contact me. NOTHING. The day of the event comes. I check into Harrahs hotel where Peek is located and present my problem to the lady who checks us in. She takes my # and assures a manager will call me. NOTHING. Even as a paying guest of the hotel I cannot get help. We all get ready and go down to the club when it opens. Hop in the line for ppl with tables and speak with a dog the bounty hunter looking character. He’s arrogant and aloof. This is not Vegas, Dog don’t try to hustle me, this is not my first club experience .
I highly suspect they do not call you back for reservations because they want to gouge you at the door and not honor their bottle prices on the menu. They come up with the excuse «this is Saturday night.» I don’t care Peek. This is shoulder season in TAHOE not Vegas or Ibiza. They REALLY REALLY REALLY need to step up their customer service game. When I pay over a thousand dollars for a few hours of drinks and dancing I expect to be treated better.

Terrible customer service. After buying 2 bottles security would not let us step outside to the restroom (the only restrooms are outside the club) because we would not be allowed back in. They argued that they would close soon so we decided to leave anyways because we really needed to use the restroom. We had to leave our group behind they ended up staying open for another hour. We also forgot our coats in there and they refused to let us in to get them. They said they would be in the lost and found the next morning. I had to argue with a manager they finally escorted us in to grab our coats.

Terrible club. Rude and disrespectful staff especially security!

Bottle service was disappointing. 4 guys, 3 girls. Paid cover, walked in, decided to get a table since one opened up (recycled, was still being cleaned). They wouldn’t credit our cover to the table and wouldn’t refund cover. I have never paid an additional cover when getting a table. The servers told us $ 700 min, $ 300 – 325 per bottle of what we wanted. We got a bottle of champagne and a bottle of vodka. Host said it was OK, and that will meet min since it was close enough and we were a walk-​in. Got a bill for $ 900…not sure how that adds up.
Emailed the host I had talked to before and got no response. Pretty shady…

This place is the best nightlife spot in Tahoe. I have been going for years and they always have awesome DJs and great service. I am definitely too old to be going to nightclubs now but still had a great time with my girls here this past weekend. I would suggest Peek over Opal every time! Seriously, so many fun memories here!

Went on a Saturday night around 11 PM, never would of thought this little spot in Lake Tahoe would be good. The staff was friendly, I called ahead to find out the cover. It was $ 20, which is average in Sacramento, so I wasn’t surprised. The music was good, mix of EDM /​Hiphop. The dance floor was packed, but there was just enough room for my bf and I. I was able to go in and out because of the stamp, to use the restroom. Look forward to coming here again!

Tons of fun. Slower on Fridays, but was crackin in Saturday.

Doesn’t really seem to be a dress code.
Few fights on the Saturday I went, but they got quickly halted by their capable staff.
Will be a regular spot when coming to Tahoe from now on.

I’ve been a huge fan of Peek Nightclub for as long as they’ve been open. We get a top notch experience every time we visit them in Lake Tahoe! From all of the friendly door staff & Security to the go go dancers to the DJ’s and talent they book weekly, they want to ensure that you will have an amazing experience every time! William Jackson the head VIP host goes out of his way to make all of his clients feel the true VIP treatment! One thing I will say is that they continuously show how much they appreciate their clientele and that goes a loooooong way with me because to most clubs you are just a number when you walk in the door! I highly recommend this place over any nightspot choice in both North and South Lake Tahoe! Thank you Peek for the many great nights and always taking great care of us!

Went there for a bachelorette party last night and had a fucking blast!!! We seriously had the best time. The music was great and the people working there were super helpful. I would definitely recommend buying a booth, otherwise you’re just stuck on the dance floor. Will definitely come back again.

Peek Nightclub is CRAZY! One of the best nightclubs in Tahoe that you can go to. This place is packed with people and there is a good reason why. The night that I went, the DJ played some great music. Mixing all kinds of songs together and it transitioned so well. They have dancers on stage, up stairs, and off to the side near the entrance. My buddies and I got a booth and enjoyed the view of the nightclub.
Service for the booth could be a lot better though. The girl didn’t really do much serving. She just poured our original drinks and we barely saw her afterwards. They are not organized near the entrance of Peek. We reserved our booth ahead of time and they didn’t let us in at all. All the other lines for regular entrance or guest list was flying. I believe that’s just wrong because I think if people are willing to spend money on a booth, we should be let in with minimal delay.
Next time I wouldn’t get a booth with friends just go in as a regular person.

Come here if you want to be judged and looked up and down. First impression was pretty bad. The girl at the box office looked is up and down before telling us how much it was to get in. Then she charged all of us $ 20 each. Fine. But then another bachlorette party behind is was let in for free! The only staff in there that was decent was one of the bartenders. He was very personable. I will say the club was cool inside, but the dance floor pretty small compared to the large number of booths they have. Not to mention the ripped up nasty furniture. I sat and watched a guy bleeding out of his mouth get blood all over a booth. The only reason someone came to see if everything was ok and to clean it up was because I went and found a security guard.
As for the music, I’ve never heard so many repeated songs. I thought the DJ at Opal the night before did a much better job.
I gave this place 2 stars only because the drinks were priced halfway decent.
Over all I was extremely disappointed. I am a big fan of Harrah’s, and have visited there multiple properties many times. Their customer service usually exceeds my expectations, but they have a lot of work to do in this place. Yes a club needs some pretty looking people to work there, but they don’t need to be total ice queens.

A waste of money. My girls and I we’re recommended to Peek for our bachelorette night out so we gave it a shot. First we were told that we had a bottle already taken care of for us; that turned out to be false. Not sure were the miscommunication came from, but our group of 14 beautiful women were greeted with nothing more than free entrance into the club. We rallied together to pay for a booth and one bottle to start. The carpet of our «VIP» booth was the most disgusting thing ever!!! You could not take a step without getting stuck. What seems like years of booze has been seeped into the carpet that has CLEARLY never been shampooed or washed. Come one Peek, a simple carpet cleaning would do wonders for your cred. Also, the two cocktail servers we were assigned literally only made one visit to our booth the entire time. Poor customer service all around.
Perhaps I’m a bit jaded living in Vegas, but this place is WACK! We would have gladly spent more money and time at the club if we didn’t feel robbed for the pathetic excuse for a «VIP» area that we received.

I give it 4 stars because it was easy to get in, cheap cover charge, well made drinks, and good music.
Minus one star because there’s no dress code enforced. Looks very weird when you have people nicely dressed up and then you have some other people in shorts, sandals and hats.
I would totally come back for sure.

This place totally caught me off guard. We went on a Saturday night and got the best booth and ordered several bottles. The security/​hostess teams were very accommodating. The DJ did a good job of spinning a variety of music, and the crowd partied hard the entire night. Looking forward to my next visit.

My first time was my last time here at Peek. After standing in line for 45min only to be told that there was a cover charge for me $ 30 – 35 an being told that women are FREE!!.
Now I think it’s pretty ridiculous to charge a cover at that price, then charge more for drinks then anything. To listen to crappie music, an drink alcohol that you could easily buy cheaper at your local grocery store.
«Peek» is the only thing that locals are able to do here.

I threw a bachelorette party here as MOH as a request from the bride for it to be in Tahoe. I researched night clubs and this place had the highest rating, maybe because its the newest, along with 6 other bachelorette and maybe even 6 other bachelor parties. I seen tiaras and sashes everywhere! Hot spot for bachelorettes and bachelors to party in as an F.y.i.
We got on to the guest list from the hotel we stayed in. Tip, always ask if theres a guest list for any night clubs so you don’t have to pay for cover fees at your hotel. Peek opened at 11pm, a bit late. We got there at 11am for the guest list and it was dead. Peek did not pick up until 12:30. The place was definitely small. The entire place is filled with booths. Standing room would be in front of the bar and the dance floor. Seats for those that do not have a booth, no where, they are not important. Booth costs, I was quoted at $ 500-​$ 1000.
Music: House, house, and house. I could not dance to it unless you are a HOUSE LOVER. hip hop started playing around 12:30 but got mixed in with HOUSE when the crowd grew thicker.
Crowd: Definitely a higher ratio in men than females. Lots of Caucasian’s. Age wise i would say 20 – 30.
Drinks: mixed drinks were $ 9 in a small plastic cup. Shots not sure. Pricy.
I can not say that i would ever go back to that night club again unless there was nothing else to do with no cover charge only. Booths are too expensive, they were ¼ empty not being bought out. Music was not my taste, too many bachelorette and bachelor parties.

I would have never thought that there would be a cracking ass nightclub in Tahoe, but I was wrong. This place is pretty legit.
I like that there was plenty of space, and lots of tables for bottle service. I think bottle service prices here is pretty standard, my friends paid $ 350 for a bottle of Jameson. The DJ when I came was Miles Medina? He was alright. The club was nice, some of the railings needed to be fixed though. Someone could really fall and hurt themselves!
The drinks however were kind of weaaaakk. The cups are super small so you’ll probably need 3 drinks to even get a buzz. It’s loaded with ice. and not very strong. One of the reasons why I can’t give this place a 4 is because the staff wasn’t very nice/​welcoming. Bartenders were really really rude. Also, when I got in line the guy in the front told us it was $ 20 for guys and free for ladies but then they charged me $ 10 so misinformation.
Overall, this was an a-​ok club and definitely a good time nonetheless with the right people!
