Wonderful dining experience. The service was top notch. The staff was friendly and very professional. The food was excellently prepared. The prix fix menu is a wonderful bargain considering the high quality of the food.
We started with the pomes dauphine — cheese fondu dip with potato fritters. The fondu went well with the fritters and the complimentary bread. The bread basket had the best focaccia bread — my dinner companions couldn’t get enough of it.
We ordered the gnocchi for the table. The gnocchi was light and cheesy — really delicious.
The duck and golden beet salad was very good. The arugula was dressed lightly so that it did not detract from the smoked duck or the sweet beets.
The red wine braised beef with chipolini onions, kabacha quash and sautéed green was delicious and perfect for a rainy day. It I comfort food with an elegant twist.
The hamburgers were also huge, filling and tasty. They let us substitute fries for Brussels sprouts and the Brussels sprouts were rich.
The chicken was perfectly prepared and moist.
The pote de crème was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal.
This is a gem and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant but we were disappointed by the food and the wine (we had the wine pairing menu). The pan seared scallops was salty, the flat iron steak was chewy and the paired Cabernet Sauvignon was austere.

OUTSTANDING food and service! A must if you are visiting the Napa area. I stayed at Harvest Inn with a couple of friends and we were considering dining out for dinner but at the last minute decided to eat in house at Harvest Table. Wow did we make the right decision… the food was scrumptious! The steak dish I ordered was cooked to perfection and the chocolate layered dessert made of white chocolate mouse and peanut butter was incredible.
The breakfast was hearty too including a wide selection of hot and cold breakfast options.
I highly recommend Harvest Table to all foodies!

We recently visited for lunch and were left feeling a little disappointing. The entrees were good, but didn’t leave us wowed. Probably would have been a 4 star experience overall, however we were disappointed with the service. We were one of 3 tables at lunch on this Saturday, and would have expected quite over the top great service, instead we found we had to request a couple items 2x, and our water glasses were frequently empty, and when we needed something our waiter was not «on the floor» but in the kitchen for lengthy periods of time. The server was perfectly nice, and seemed to know the menu, but we found ourselves frustrated at times. Minus one star to 3 for us. We would try it again. My hope is we just caught them on an off day.

Extremly well plated… beautiful flavors artfully put together. Very well thought out and quick in attention to detail with service. It’s top notch when you’re here… order anything, you CAN NOT go wrong. Will definitely be back to stay and dine! Thank you!

Harvest Table Burger– Fontina Cheese, Caramelized Onion, Homemade Bun, French Fries, Dill Pickles (I had been craving one for about a week, thank god I had it here, juicy and perfect)
Chocolate + Peanut Butter Bar– Dark Chocolate Marquis, Peanut Butter Mousse, Chocolate Sorbet (omg#1)
Bittersweet Orange– Dark Chocolate Ganache, Citrus Supremes, Hazelnut Orange Ice Milk (super fun and tasty. Would definitely order again)

Great farm to table meal. Many menu items include ingredients grown in gardens throughout the property. My wife and I split the winter greens salad — which included a champagne vinaigrette and popped sougrum in place of the often overused croutons. It was a nice surprise.
She had gnocchi (which were surprisingly light relative to most gnocchi dishes I have tasted) and I had braised pork cheeks (which were amazing)
The only reason this wasn’t a 5 star was the chaotic service.

I normally would NOT recommend a hotel restaurant, but this is a must.
We arrived it was raining & didn’t have our bearings yet’; so, decided we would give it a try. We had the grilled octopus, smoked trout & braised pork cheek. Holy Cow!!!
Smoked Trout: This dish is incredibly light & delish. The Meyer lemon garnish brought everything together. Just a delightful dish.
Grilled Octopus: Now, I have had some bad experiences with octopus, but glad I didn’t let that detour me. This dish was succulent. Honestly, if this were a main course, I would order just this. It was that good. Make sure to use the bread to help you get every last bite.
Braised Pork Cheek: I live in BBQ country & we know our pork. BUT, this dish was the best pork cheek I’ve ever had. It was incredibly tender & full of wonderful flavor. It was rich & juicy.
The following morning, we went for breakfast. Breakfast came with our stay, but you never know what to expect. When you walk in, if you look confused, you will be greeted by a friendly smile asking if it is your first time. You can see most of the items, but take a trip to the kitchen & there you will find the hot dishes.
The eggs were great & the bacon was cooked to perfection. The rest of your selections are just as fresh. You will definitely eat well before venturing out for your wine tastings. Make sure you get up in time to enjoy.

One of the most satisfying dinner experience was delivered by the wonderful restaurant team at the Harvest Table.
My girlfriend and I were excited enjoy our first visit this new establishment with our friends living in St Helena on a cool Tuesday night, they are one of Napa Valley Restaurant Week’s participants.
The entire party checked in 15 min after our reservation, the hostess greeted us delightfully anyway. We were quickly situated and attended by our waitress to entice us with the evening’s offerings. And this is how the wonderful dinner unfolds as we dive-​in on the bowl of toasty bread.
We started with the Scallop Crudo ($ 16) on top of our 3-​course prix fixe ($ 36/​person).
Fresh, thinly sliced, enough to share among the party as an amuse bouche; the streak of hot sauce further enhanced the scallops sweetness.
The service was on pointe, the Steamed Mussels, served with a generous slice of bread dressed with creamy garlic aioli and my Fennel & Blood Orange Salad arrived in no time at all. Decent portion, fresh, clean, and pure, the flavor of the ocean was highlighted by the studs of red bell pepper and garlic. My salad does pale next to the seafood dish, it lacked balance, the peppery arugula dominated the salad. Mussel wins.
The heavy weight, literally, is the generous and absolutely decadent slice of Porchetta perfumed with garlic served with sides of Swiss Chard and Rutabaga Purée. It is incredibly tender, a all-​meat-​lasagna build on perfectly proportioned fat and protein became the talk of the night. The Butternut Squash Ravioli was a very tasty highlight of the winter-​inspired produce, rich and fluffy, beautifully textured. Porchetta wins.
While I was able to pick favorites between the two 1^st and 2^nd courses, I loved both desserts equally. The Mandarin Cream over Vanilla Sponge Cake was a simple yet flavorful delight: rich with just the right sweetness and the elegant acidity of the citrus somehow cleansed my carnivorous-​palate. The Grasshopper charmed the table with the same magic, wonderfully presented. The creamy chocolate cream teamed up with the bright and enlightening mint ice-​cream is a very challenging dessert for wine-​pairing; the sommelier went the extra mile and over delivered the perfect ending with a glass of white-​port.
Bonus: free-​corkage for the 1^st bottle of Napa Valley Wine and we probably will never pass-​up on.
We are already looking for another date to revisit this new-​star restaurant of Napa Valley, the waitrons are very friendly and attentive; the foods are elegantly presented and delivered fireworks of flavors; the restaurant is clean, nicely-​lid, and tastefully curated like the food.

Harvest table is a incredible restaurant experience that is truly something you can not miss out on when you’re in St. Helena.
The first thing I have to mention about the Harvest Table restaurant, is how «authentic» the entire experience is. The restaurant contains a large and very real fireplace that you can sit next to. We got a seat right next to the fireplace. Which was wonderful considering it was raining outside. The entire restaurant is extremely cozy and welcoming.
The food itself was fantastic. All 3 courses of the meal tasted fresh and delicious and were very creatively designed.
My first course was definitely not my favorite. It was a marinated calamari with a cucumber gazpacho and Peppers from what I remember. While I could see somebody liking it, it was raw which was not my thing. I could tell the chef was clearly trying to do something that not many others do but it didn’t have the same quality that my other courses had.
However my second course was absolutely delicious. I had a roasted chestnut soup which was absolutely exquisite. It contained Cranberry Coulis, Spiced Crème Fraiche and Sage Oil. It was very tasty with the presentation being spot on. It was very smooth, creamy and rich and had a perfect texture. If you are going to harvest table I would highly recommend this as your starter.
Now for my main. It was a delicious salmon that was cooked to perfection. I could not find the specifics of the meal but it was surrounded by a delicious sauce and more seafood.
If you are planning to visit St. Helena put this restaurant on your list because it is well worth it and deserves every five star review it is getting.

This place is beyond whimsical in architecture and design, you feel as if though you are in a magical fairly land with Snow White and her crew. The fireplace is always burning and gardens are beautiful, lined with pine trees and outdoor art. The food is impeccable in every way. Taste bursts with every bite and every note of every drink is a symphony. We had a little of everything (almost) on the menu and it was well worth it. The staff and chefs are great, menus change often and only make it better to keep coming back.
This last time we tried several items, the calamari risotto was perfect and refreshing. The pastries plate was fresh and sweet. (Love the pop tart and corn bread) The seafood was delectable and perfectly put together. Can’t wait to come back in a few weeks. Perfect spot for a brunch if you come from SF or east bay for a weekend.

The food was excellent! Quality over quantity that’s for sure. I was satisfied but not full, BUT the taste buds were blown away. Great flavor. The ambiance was a little lacking since we were the only group, maybe one other, eating in the place, but they were closing soon to prepare for dinner service… I’d definitely come back again when in town!

What an amazing dinner! We went for our anniversary. The staff was friendly and helpful. Ambiance was a bit noisy but that’s how we like it. It was also casual, which is great because it makes you feel comfortable and not feel so snooty. Our drinks took a long time, so we figured as soon as she was ready to do our starters we might as well order everything. We were ready.
We started with the oysters, calamari, squash soup and shrimp and grits and all were absolutely delicious the starters that stood out the most were the shrimp and grits and the soup. Talk about a party in your mouth.
Entrée we ordered the steak and the chicken for two… We know that’s a lot but everything was so good why not. The chicken would be partly eaten because we had to make sure we ate all the steak!!!
Desert he got the peanut butter chocolate mousse and I got the pear cheese cake. Both were like heaven.
If your in St Helena… eat here!!! Hands down a comfy, classy and delicious place.

We live in San Francisco and drove all the way here for Thanksgiving and to celebrate my birthday. I was expecting much more on the atmosphere and the food. The restaurant needs a new face lift. The food has too much salt and nothing to be excited about.
We will not be back or referral our friends.
Wish the restaurant all the best but need to improvement for sure!!!

Hands down the best brunch experience our family has had!
The ambiance is a fusion between modern and rustic chic and they have an adorable outdoor patio. The service was on point (I refuse to say on fleek). We had such a passionate and entertaining waiter who really elevated the experience even more. The food was delectable and stirred severe anticipation in each one of us as the next item came out. Each item was just that unique, fresh and well prepared. And the cocktails were simply incomparable in a completely idiosyncratic way.
Highlights:
1. Goat cheese fondue
2. Fried oyster
3. Scallop crudo
4. Smoked salmon toast
5. Shrimp and grits
6. Grilled flat iron steak on french toast
7. Maple syrup candy Belgium waffle
8. Crispy suckling pig hash
9. Harvest Table burger
Each item was a gastronomic fusion in our mouths with the freshest of ingredients creatively intermingled to capture new and exciting flavors. Our waiter also did a phenomenal job of walking us through exactly what the creative vision for each dish was.
All in all, the parents, sister and fiancé loved this spot so much that we’re definitely planning to come back for dinner the next time we’re in town. I highly recommend checking out Harvest Table on your next trip out to Napa — it’s tucked into Harvest Inn in the lovely St. Helena.

Easy to miss while driving highway 29 just before St Helena, nestled in the rear of Harvest Inn’s lobby. We were really impressed by all the food from appetizers, salads to entrees. Nice comfortable atmosphere, casual yet classy modern, not stuffy. Excellent friendly attentive service.
The grilled octopus appetizer was fantastic, tender not chewy, complimented with light greens and 2 really good sauces artfully drizzled on the plate. Also started with the fried pig ear salad, thin slices of pig eared deep fried making a crispy tasty compliment to the greens, with a spicy dressing. I had the squab entrée, amazing. Skin roasted so that it had that crispy «duck» like snap, and medium rare meat super tender, and a complimentary sauce and pickled veggies over creamy risotto.
A definite re-​visit to try other things on the menu. Noting also a full bar with many creative cocktails. if we weren’t so wined out from the day, would’ve like to try them.
Both indoor and outdoor patio seating available. Highly recommend to try when in the heart of Napa Valley.

We are locals, with reservations, yet the person who served us acted surprised. It felt awkward.
Pan Roasted Shrimp and Grits is by far the most tasty hearty, but light treat on the menu. It sounds strange but just try it. The wild salmon entrée as well as the fig with burrata salad are my favorites. Our server, Vickie was attentive when she finally took orders, and indulgent when harassed by a drunk diner. I appreciated her grace and tolerance. I had a good time here, but think there are a few things, mainly having to do with service, that need a tune up.
The bread is weak. It’s cut into little almost croûton sized pieces. I feel like it should be delivered warm, and much earlier, like as soon as you sit down.
Someone in our party asked for salt with the fondue appetizer Pomme Dauphine, but it didn’t come, so I started to pop up and grab some from a station when our server intervened. When we were finished with sparkling glasses, and white wine glasses, nobody picked them up, so I delivered them to the bar myself. The extra glasses were in the way and there was not enough space for appetizers, but nobody who worked there was on it.
The menus are gigantic and awkward, which would not matter if orders were taken promptly. If you are having drinks, there is not enough room on the table for the menu. I finally leaned the menu against the side of my chair. I have had both lunch and dinner here and the ambience as well as food is upscale. So why do I see a guy in just a white under shirt and ripped jeans here having dinner? It’s just not what I want to see when I’m out at a really nice place. The final thing that bothered me was that there was a couple who came right in, and were seated nearby, with their 2 little dogs. REALLY? I’m just not convinced that that is sanitary or appropriate in a nice restaurant. This is not a sidewalk bistro.

I came here on a Saturday night. I was surprised that there were still tables, but the restaurant is a whole isn’t small.
We got here a tad early so we sat on the lounge for a bit. While we waited, the bartender noticed us right away and offered us to a drink, which was nice. Our table was ready at the time that I reserved it for, and we were promptly seated.
The waitress came and attended to us very quickly, and took our drink orders while we looked over the menu. The only thing that was confusing about the menu was that there was snacks, appetizers, and entrees. Snacks are very small portion food, like 2 bites, literally, so be prepared, and it’s price accordingly.
We order shrimp and grits with cheese and the calamari thing and both came relatively quickly and was quite delicious. However, the time between the first and second course seemed a tad long. I was looking at my watch and it was about 30 min. after we had the first course that they served us our entrees, which just seems a bit slow. The restaurant was full and I’m sure the kitchen was a tad backed up, but people have complaint about the wait, and this was evident.
Entrees came and they were delicious. We had the Gnocchi and the Squab, which were both very tasty, the bird was cooked perfectly and the Gnocchi was done to perfection in terms of how it was made to how long it was cooked for. The dessert, which we had the chocolate and peanut butter bar with Chocolate Sorbet, was a perfect sweet and bitter contrast. Overall the meal was very well done, the décor is nice and I would definitely go back again.

Our group of 8 Napa locals was very impressed. A few improvements to comment on, overall excellently prepared dining. Having just received a glowing review and 2.5 stars from Michael Bauer, our expectations were high, and they were exceeded.
The fun started when the M-​D explained that their wine list was only Napa Valley (which is fine by me), yet they did have an interesting offer for wine. You tell them red, white, or rose, and they will bring out a foil wrapped bottle (non Napa) for you to try and guess it’s origins, (grape, region, etc.). Fun way to start, got us all talking an analyzing. We asked for rose, it turned out to be a Marsannay from Burgundy. We all liked the wine.
For starters, we had Foie Gras Torchon (could have been a little larger portion for $ 24), rich of course, creamy. Also the Stone Fruit and Burrata ($ 13) salad, which included some great ripe peach slices. Tomato and Watermelon salad ($ 13), both very sweet and ripe. Grilled Octopus Tentacle ($ 16), perfectly grilled with nice Romesco dressing. The Halibut Crudo ($ 14) was a big hit.
Two orders of the Kansas City Sirloin for 2 ($ 75) were ordered. Reminded me of Steak Florentine. After grilling, the two steaks were presented at the table, beautiful, and then carved off to the side and served in nice size servings. Poached Ling Cod in a Saffron Nage ($ 27), slightly underdone cod and a beautifully seasoned and saffron colored bath that had to be totally spooned up at the end, every drop. Another guest had the King Salmon with crushed potato with olives ($ 32), in a shellfish broth. Both fish dishes were very ample.
Desserts were very well done, especially the layered ganache and peanut butter Napoleon.
Disappointed Charlie Palmer’s signature chicken dish was not on the menu that night, I guess it rotates through with the New York for 2.
Service very good, attentive, water kept filled, wine service professional, reasonable corkage (ours was waived). Our server was Adam, great job!
I would recommend you request a table outside if possible. We were at a rectangular table, 4 on a side, and for sure, because of the noise, the conversations were pretty much between you and the person across or adjacent to you. Very loud room.
No full liquor license yet, another 45 – 60 days. Free valet parking a nice bonus.

New restaurant in St. Helena located in the Harvest Inn resort. The restaurant is modern with a wonderful patio area looking out into the cottages out back. We started with a cocktail and a spring garden salad and crispy pork head as appetizers. The crispy pork head sounded intimidating, but it was a tasty bite-​size croquette. The salad was fresh with harvested bee pollen on top. It was an amazing touch to the fresh salad right from the garden!
I ordered the pan roasted wild salmon which which came out beautifully plated. We finished the meal with the meyer lemon chiffon and the strawberry pavlova, delicious and only slightly indulgent (everything tasted so fresh!). We took a post-​dinner walk around the resort and even got to hangout in the garden where our dinner was freshly grown. Literally, farm to table… yum!

Creative cooking. Emphasis on locally grown ingredients. July 2015 menu has 35 selections classed into 3 groups: Snacks, Starters, Meals. The size of the portion increases with each class.
Variety is impressive. You can choose from light vegetarian options with sparkling fresh flavors to heavy hitters like shrimp & grits or a flat iron steak.
I dined for 3 hours in a group of 15 partiers. We ate just about everything on the menu. We shared bites. Even the gluten-​free eaters had plenty of food choices.
Highlights: house made baked goods, the croissants were some of the best outside of France. The calamari salad was sprightly fresh and tangy. The mash potato croquettes were pillows from heaven. Folks who chose the salmon said it was overcooked by a minute or two. Similarly, my flat iron steak ordered medium rare was closer to well done, tasty but a bit dry.
Desserts are so satisfying but never too sweet. House made ice creams had some delicious savory flavors. You can order a «triangle» with 6 smalls scoops of various flavors.
Service folks are perfect in timing, attitude and menu knowledge.
The dining room is homey yet upscale.
Prices are remarkably reasonable for the quality, quantity and neighborhood. You’ll spend 85% less here than at the French Laundry, even of you drink the highest priced wines.
Highly recommended.
