History

Established in 2005.

Decorator For Hire is an Austin based company with Lead Designer Alicia Autrey. The company was created to offer excellent design using many styles and all budgets. Home staging was added to the list of services in 2006 so that Alicia could help both realtors and homeowners. In 2009 Alicia began styling and designing custom window coverings and most recently has begun to offer custom shutters, shades and binds.

Decorator For Hire focuses on excellent customer service and satisfaction and strives for perfection to detail.

Business Owner

Alicia is a mother and wife living in the beautiful Austin hill country. As a creative, she enjoys art, music and nature. Almost ten years ago she decided that she wanted to use her skills and education to start her own design company. She saw a need for more flexible design, design that offered a wide variety of styles at a reasonable range of prices.

She enjoys designing from her home office for clients in and around the Austin, Lakeway and Bee Cave area.
