Empire Carpet Care

I had an unfortunate situation transpire with a roof leak, that caused my expensive couch to become saturated with contaminated roof water. My complex whom are contracted with empire carpet care, had them come get my couch for repair. I was told that the turn around time would approximately be a week. Well a week passed with no word, and finally I received a call from them. The lady whose name I believe is Tricia, wanted to know if she could drop my couch off. I informed her that I was not home, and she assured me that she would contacted my apartment manager to be let in. That night when I returned home I expected that my couch would be there. To my surprise it was not, and a couple of days later I contacted empire carpet care. I spoke with Tricia who said they tried to reach my apartment manager, but that they were unable to, and therefore could not be let in. The problem I had was, why was this never translated back to me. Was it too much for this company to call me back, and let me know this? After all I’m the owner of the couch, and I believe that any reputable company would have done so. To top it all off, I was called on ²⁄₂₃ to say that my couch was set to be delivered, and would I be home? Actually no I wasn’t home, but I told her if she could call me ahead of time I would drive home to be there. Upon my arrival home I saw my couch sitting in the back of a large pick up truck. When I approached the stairs of my apartment there were two men, ready to bring my couch up. I unlocked the door entered my apartment, and allowed them to bring my couch up. However as they began to enter my apartment I noticed a large hole in the bottom of my couch. Seemingly these two individuals still set my couch down, as if it were being returned the same way it left. I said excuse me there is a huge hole in the bottom of my couch, and it was not that way when it left. The gentlemen acted very surprised which I find hard to believe, due to the fact that I noticed it right away. As the other gentlemen came back in (the owner), the first gentlemen alerted him to the issue. He then said it either had to happen when the couch was first taken, or on its way back to me. He then stated that, hes not really sure how much it matters anyway. Really… It doesn’t matter that my 1,000 plus couch has a huge hole in the bottom, and that it was never there before? It doesn’t matter that your carpet company neglected to insure that my couch was impeccable before it was returned back to the customer? Frankly I was appalled, and disgusted that a business owner felt that it was no big deal to return a couch in this type of condition. I can guarantee that if I would have never spoke up, they would have left my couch this way with no worries whatsoever. This leads me to conclude that this company is non reputable, and does not take pride in there reputation as a business. For this to have ever happened in the first place, again shows that this company obviously could care less about there client’s property. I would never recommend, nor would I ever do business with these people EVER!

Actually used a Groupon (or something similar) for these guys for one of my rental properties. I forgot the guys name, but he came in, did a very professional job in a short amount of time. The unit was vacant, so this helped, bit I would definitely use this outfit again. $ 75.00 for 1200 sq ft seemed like a steal, especially after getting ripped off from Stanley.

I used this company in early 2012 when Scott Peterson owned it. He worked a small miracle on my floors that had cat urine on them. He was responsive, smart, and willing to try to save me money.
Three weeks ago I contacted his company, and found out Scott had sold out and moved to California. On Friday I called and asked them to come and clean a couch the following Saturday. Beverly told me she would call me during the week and let me know the time for Saturday. Saturday rolls around, the tech calls to say he’s on his way — HUH? I told him I didn’t have help to move the couch into a secluded area, his office should have let me know he was coming. He said he would have the office call to reschedule. Very polite guy.
Wednesday rolls around, no call from «the office». I called the tech, he told me he was experiencing alot of these situations recently, he would call again and tell them to call. Apologized for his company.
Today is Saturday. No call, no apology from the office. If this is an indication as to how this company now performs customer service, this is the review they are going to get. Sad that simple consideration is no longer practiced at Empire. I would suggest that they won’t be guaranteeing any of their work as well, since it looks like the money is the motivator for their jobs.

I had them clean my carpet today, they did a great job and the staff was friendly, I would use them anytime!

They are AWESOME! They do all of my Rental Properties and I refer them to all of my Real Estate clients too. I never have to check their work and they are always getting the jobs done in a timely fashion!

The carpets look great and all the spots (of every kind!) are gone. When my dog, her friends and my friends mess up the floors again I will absolutely call Empire Carpet Care.
