Reno Moving Company

I’ll never deal with them again in the future.
They were late by 3 days, then showed up at my house without scheduling a delivery. We had taken half days off to be there for the delivery when in fact they had not even received our shipment.
They forced me to sign the paperwork saying that the goods were in good order PRIOR to unloading the truck and without me having a chance to look at the boxes that were unloaded. They said that they would not deliver my goods if I did not sign the paperwork prior to the delivery.

Our international moving company contracted with them to deliver our shipment, so we had no say in it. First we scheduled the move for a time that was convenient for us, and then they rescheduled to a day later. I took a half day off work to be here, and have been cooling my heels at home all morning waiting, being told hour by hour that it would arrive soon. Finally, it turns out that the shipment only left LA this morning, but they can’t give me any idea when it left or when it will arrive. When we asked them to find out what time the shipment left LA, the guy on the phone yelled at my husband, dropped the F-​bomb on him, and hung up on him. Avoid, if you have a choice, and of you’re a firm contracting with them locally, don’t.

This company truly disappointed me. While moving from Reno, NV to Las Vegas as a single girl in a new town I was astonished at the help I didn’t receive from Reno movers. While moving out of the house they damaged a wall and disregarded telling me until I noticed it myself. They also destroyed 3 of my large items during the move which equalled a total of $ 2500 and refused to compensate me for them. The movers left all of my heavy bedroom furniture downstairs and I had to knock on my new neighbors doors and ask for their help. Luckily I moved into a nice neighborhood and received the help I needed from some awesome friendly people. My recommendation is to avoid using this company, but if you must I suggest not paying them until the job is complete.
