Happy Paws has saved my life! I moved to South Boston from Ohio and did not know a single person to help me with my dog. I work very long days and I can ALWAYS count on Happy Paws to help me out. From the reliable service to the easy to use website to schedule my walks, Happy Paws is the best dog walking company in Boston! They treat your kids like their own and they are trained professionals. I highly recommend Happy Paws!

I can not say enough great things about Kai & Happy Paws. Kai truly loves what she does and she is passionate about her work with animals! I have a 7 year old Pekingnese rescue mix that can be difficult with strangers. Kai & her team were great with him and I always felt like he was in the best hands! She is very accommodating and flexible as well which we truly appreciated. It was easy to schedule dog walks & boarding services through the Happy Paws website. We love Happy Paws!!!

We got our yellow lab puppy, Tucker, last summer and knew we needed a dog walker. After a quick Unilocal search, I found Kai and the Happy Paws Boston team. Upon meeting Kai, we instantly knew that we wanted to hire her. Kai is extremely knowledgable, professional and passionate about all things doggies! In addition to offering excellent dog walking services, Kai is a highly trained and talented trainer. She is trained under the Cesar Milan approach. It’s amazing to watch how positively dogs respond to her, and how quickly she can teach, train and change a dog’s behavior! We’ve used Kai and the Happy Paws team for everything: pet sitting services, dog walking and training. Kai, as well as every single employee of the Happy Paws team, is incredibly reliable and friendly. The entire team goes out of their way to treat Tucker as their own. I really like that Kai offers 1:1 walks as well as pack walks. We love coming home to a tired a happy pup and reading the detailed note about Tuck’s walk. We continue to learn so much from Kai and are so grateful we found her. We really struck gold in finding Kai and the Happy Paws team!

We used Happy Paws for about 7 months for our 11 month old puppy. At first Happy Paws and Kai seemed reliable and flexible. She was helpful with her tips and tricks for puppy training and walking services. We informed her that, because of our fluctuating work schedules, we would have some weeks of walks every day and other weeks in which we would only need her once. She was more than happy to accommodate. We developed a personal relationship with her that we believed was very strong. She was constantly saying how much she loved our puppy and enjoyed being a part of all our lives. Then, one day, completely out of the blue, she blind-​sided us and let us know that she would no longer be providing walks. She sent us a «termination» email at 9 p.m. that was incredibly cold and lacked any sort of personal touch. The termination was also effective immediately. When we contacted her to get our keys back and ask about the situation, she let us know that dog walking was a waste of her time since she was a professional trainer. She was rude, unprofessional, and unapologetic. The whole situation was a disaster and it left us high and dry without a walker for our great puppy.

Beyond amazing is where I will start. Kai and her team are beyond fantastic on how they take care of our dog, Oliver, who can sometimes have a mind of his own. When we schedule them, they are always on time, make sure they are courtesy with our house and most importantly make sure Oliver is tired and ready for a nap when they return from there play time. I highly recommend Happy Paws with no hesitation!!!

I have been using Kai for about 5 – 6 months now. We use her one on one dog walking services. Tucker is a 14 month old, 50 lbs black lab/​?? mix. I specifically like that she has one on one services. I have seen dog walkers around handling 4, 5, 6, dogs and it looks like a mess to me. I also saw a dog walker today in South End lose a dog who ran across a busy road, and while trying to chase down that dog, she lost control of her 2 other dogs! Luckily all 3 dogs were ok, but that is NOT a situation I want my dog to get into. Personalized attention is the best!
Kai not only offers an amazing dog walking service but she is also a great resource. Any behavioral, diet, etc. questions that we have are answered by Kai! For example, Tucker had an upset stomach for 1 – 2 days and wasn’t eating anything. We texted Kai and asked a few questions on what we should watch for before sending him to the vet. She gave some good advice and made us feel at ease. She also gives us very beneficial CONSTRUCTIVE feedback regarding Tucker’s pulling, barking when someone is at the door, etc. If you are a dog owner who is not afraid to hear that your dog did something bad (it takes time to train a puppy!), Kai will be perfect for you.
She has an easy online booking system but also responds to last minute text messages. I’ve texted her asking for a «day of» walk numerous times, and she is always happy to help.
I highly recommend Kai to anyone.

I have called upon Happy Paws twice now — once for an extended trip and once in an emergency where I was stranded due to weather. In the first case Kai and her team fed and entertained my two cats and sent me daily photos to keep me up to date on how they were doing. In the second case, I had a flight cancelled and ended up in a situation where I knew I would be stranded for two days. Kai was able to drop by to take care of my cats on very short notice.
I would highly recommend Happy Paws and will continue to use them.

I don’t know where to begin. Kai and Happy Paws have been a blessing to us and the answer we have been looking for for our puppy puggle, Sweeney. My boyfriend and I have had a bit of a struggle starting off with our first puppy and Kai has been amazing. We started off by just needing a walking service and ended up getting a trainer and a new addition to our family. Kai has identified our problem areas and has been working with us on how to fix them. She personalizes your sessions to tailor your needs. Not only does she loveee her dogs, her skillset is amongst the best out there, as she studied under Cesar Millan. We would recommend Kai and Happy Paws to anyone and cannot give a high enough review of the company. If you want professional, affordable, and effective training/​walking while having your dog be loved just as much as you love them… then Happy Paws is where you should turn!!!
