Jean-​Marie has a fine establishment that she and her husband Ken (may he RIP) opened up in downtown South Amboy. Before even entering the shop, your eyes are treated to 2 beautiful window displays that change with the holiday season every month. The decorating is truly articulate and that alone is a positive indication that the groomers pay attention to detail, an important quality when looking for a groomer.
Jean-​Marie, Phyllis, and the staff are wonderful! I’ve been taking my dog to the shop for 9 years and from day 1, I’ve truly felt comfortable here. Jean-​Marie was very accommodating to my request of checking out the shop first to make sure I felt comfortable taking my dog there.
My dog always looks spiffy after his grooming. We go 2x per month even though the shop isn’t located very near our house. The dog loves going and I know he is well taken care of. Any special requests I have are taken into consideration (such as using my special rx shampoo, etc).
The entire staff is in the right profession. They are compassionate, warm, and loving toward animals.
There is an array of dog clothing, as well as treats, toys, and other miscellaneous items available for purchase. I like to support the local shop for items. They carry a nice leash brand that has a great guarantee.

Was looking for a new place to have my dogs groomed! I called on a day when they were close, however the staff returned my called immediately the next morning! Took the dogs in and everyone there was wonderful! Dogs looked great and were very happy… I was happy with their cuts as well. Will definitely return!
