Established in 1968.

Starting out on the San Francisco peninsula Action Cleaning Services as it was originally known, built a solid reputation as a quality & reliable cleaning service. In 1975 with a re-​location to Santa Cruz County again a solid reputation was built & has been maintained until present. We are here to serve your needs!

Action Carpet Cleaning is fantastic! Owner Dean Adams recently cleaned the carpets, rugs and windows in a Vacation Rental that I do property maintenance for. Dean made himself available to help me meet a last minute, short timeframe I was given. His work was impeccable (the carpets looked great & they had been tortured by a summer of back to back weekly renters). He completed all the work in record time and at very reasonable rates. This was not the first time I’ve used Action Carpet Cleaning, they always blow me away in quality, service & value. Call them!

I first had Dean out to clean the upholstery on our living room furniture a few months ago. He did an outstanding job. Very professional work. He explained what he was doing and gave a very fair estimate. Today he was back and cleaned my carpet. Again a job very well done. I highly recommend Dean and Action Cleaning for both carpet and upholstery.

I had Dean come out after an entire 2 gallon bottle of laundry detergent drained on my carpeting. He warned me that the stain might not come out after one treatment and went above and beyond to fix it without charging me on a second visit. Unfortunately, the stain came back again but I can’t fault him for it. Let that be a lesson — secure your laundry detergent!

Dean cleaned our beautiful wall to wall wool carpets as well as a large sofa and two chairs upholstered in raw silk. I selected Dean because he’s recommended by the New Zealand wool board. That means a lot to me. Dean did a great job. The carpet looks great, the sofa and chairs look ten years younger. Dean’s a pleasure to work with. I’ll definitely use him again.

We’ve hired Action twice. Dean rescued a bedroom carpet that I thought would need to be torn out and replaced, and he put in double time on our stubborn kitchen tile and grout to make sure that it was completely clean. On top of everything else, their prices are reasonable.
IMO, Action is a model for how all service businesses should operate. They are prompt, courteous, professional, and thorough. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!

Thanks to Unilocal,I called Action Carpet Cleaning. I found Dean very professional, my carpets, area rug and tile never looked so good! Dean left the carpet blower and all were dry by that night. I was impressed as he protected all my walls and hardwood floors.

Let’s see… the website listed my area in his service area but Dean was not interested in cleaning my rugs. I have two new rugs (had a spill that required cleaning already) and have new furniture on order. That’s future business Dean will not be getting. I noticed only reviews from north of Watsonville. Maybe it’s time to update the website with new service area and that he takes large jobs only. There are plenty other rave reviews for another carpet cleaner in SC.

Had Dean remove a threshold stain; impressed by his professionalism, great equipment and attitude. Got this difficult stain out; used a plexiglass gizmo to dry the carpet so we could readily see that the stain had been removed. And he charged less than the quoted price! Great job, Dean. Will recommend to others.

Dean, owner of this company, has been doing our carpets for over 20 years and is a really meticulous guy! We’ve had a boatload of guests and events here and Dean always makes our carpets look wonderful afterwards, at a reasonable price. (And isn’t that what we all want right now? Great service and great price?) The only thing ‘old school’ about this company is that they take pride in their work and that’s a good thing!
