We offer weekend workshops in writing and creativity in our art studio on the 3 acre property. Authors such as Adair Lara, Hal Zina Bennett, SARK, and John Flinn teach classes geared to both beginning and advanced students.

History

Established in 1976.

We bought our property in order to establish a pottery, which we had for 16 years, producing pottery which was collected throughout the U.S. During that time we also offered workshops in the creative process. In 1992, we closed the pottery and remodeled the pottery buildings into vacation rentals and a B&B.

The property is filled with our paintings and sculpture from all of the years we’ve lived here. We enjoy sharing our creativity with visitors and students in our workshops.

Meet the Business Owner

Janice C.

Business Owner

I’m an artist and writer. I work in watercolor and oil. After publishing my memoir, which has watercolors and drawings from my childhood and stories from my life, I decided to offer workshops and feature the teachers who had been such valuable guides to me. My husband John Curry and I enjoy hosting the classes in our studio, and welcome people from all over the world who attend them.

In addition to being a talented artist, my husband is a great chef. He prepares delicious lunches for workshop attendees.
