Established in 1973.

We have two locations to serve you. Morena Storage has been serving the San Diego community since 1989 and is located near the communities of Downtown San Diego, Point Loma, Mission Hills, Mission Valley, Linda Vista, Clairemont, La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and Ocean Beach. Our facility is conveniently located near the I-​5 and I-​8 interchange. Morena Storage has over 1,700 storage rooms in a wide variety of sizes to meet your needs. Solana Beach Self Storage has been serving the northern San Diego community since 1973. Our facility serves the communities of Solana Beach, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Encinitas, Cardiff by the Sea, and Carmel Valley. We have over 1,000 storage rooms in a wide variety of sizes to meet your needs. Second floor rooms are serviced by large over sized elevators to make moving easier. The parking lot at public storage was full so we happened on the side street just a little south and saw the signs for Solana Beach Storage. We decided to stop in there first… And we are so happy we did! Thankfully, solana beach storage had really reasonable prices AND they had a FREE trunk and FREE mover to help us load at our apartment and unload at the storage unit. Unreal. That saved us so much time and energy, not to mention we were thrilled to not have to add another step to the already annoying moving process. The next day at 1:30 on the dot (like they promised) Josh had the truck ready for us and was a HUGE HELP moving everything from our apartment to the storage unit. He was professional, courteous, helpful, and a really good worker. Literally running to help and worked so hard to help us. Unlike a lot of places, you don’t reserve your unit size until after its loaded in the truck… That way you know exactly what you need. Genius. Josh was awesome and recommended he perfect size. We are so thankful! We will definitely refer Solana Beach Storage to everyone… It pays to go with the local business! Not to mention… Rudy’s taco shop is right here, amazing two shop stop. :) thanks Josh!!!

Excellent service since the first phone call and visit to the facility. I would give it even more than 5 stars if i could! Nate, Hayden, Josh and Bob have been and continue to be extremely helpful in every way possible. They are always ready to help in any way that they can and their attitude is always positive and professional.
The truck and helper — Hayden — on our moving day, was beyond helpful and he was very understanding of a somewhat difficult move and circumstances. He helped us all stay calm and loaded up and unloaded the truck (full!) with such a wonderful attitude. Thank you Hayden again for all of your help and strength:)

So far I have been extremely happy with Solana Beach Storage! I have never used or needed a storage unit before but this place has been easy and the staff really helpful. They give you a moving truck and help from one of their employees to help with the move if wanted. The staff did a great job with helping move my stuff and stack it in the unit the way I wanted with the things I needed frequent access to put in accessible locations in the unit. I would definitely refer others here.

I have been searching for a storage unit for the last couple of week and finally got around to visiting the different options in Solana Beach.
I pulled into Solana Beach Storage and the only thing that may be a bit confusing is where to park. So I just pulled up in front of the office and parked along the building.
From then on, I was extremely impressed. Nate and Josh greeted me, offered me a bottle of water and walked me to some of the storage units available. Along the way, I was told that they offer a free moving truck and will actually provide helpers to come move my stuff out of my place and into the unit.
I will admit, I’ve probably only used a storage unit twice in my life, but neither time was I met with this level of customer service. Very professional, very helpful and and overall great experience.
I will be getting their 10×10 ground level for $ 212 which is very reasonable compared to the other places I have been.
Check this place out if you have to store stuff. Great experience!!!

These guys were very helpful and accommodating for the month and a half I kept my stuff with them. A little pricey but I will take that knowing my stuff is secure and safe rather than a cheap storage facility with little security and a sketchy staff.
Thanks guys for helping me and always being so helpful and friendly! As I am moving to Florida tomorrow, the last few weeks I have been back and fourth daily for people to come and purchase furniture from my unit. They were all so kind when I let them aware that I was alone and someone off Craigslist was coming and to just keep an eye out… What do ya know, someone would be checking in on me or waiting outside the building checking every little bit until I left. THANK you Solana Beach Storage team for not only making sure I had amazing service, but made sure that I was okay when strangers came to look at my things! AMAZING SERVICE

Gene helped me out here for the most part of the short time I spent doing business with them. the establishment is no air conditioned which do not make a good place to store certain things like guitars in there. However the policies they have to keep the place safe, clean and peaceful seem to work. Very easy to work with crew and the even offer a Uhaul rental with incentives. On top of incentives they also have complimentary coffee and things like that. I can’t remember if they do offer free water but they should at the price of storage which does seem to be a fair price.
This is a good spot to store your shit! Go in and work with Gene if you can. He seemed like a good guy who cares about your needs! Hope you guys stay well!

The guys at Solana Beach Storage are always friendly, helpful, and willing to make sure your storage needs are met. When I recently needed to move stuff to their facility, they even sent a guy and let me use one of their trucks to bring it over. Who does that, right? I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve had two units at Solana Storage for almost twenty years. Maybe, as an earlier reviewer said, most storage facilities are the same. But I’ve never been tempted to move. These guys are very service oriented. They will help you move your stuff — not just in and out — but when you need to move it around to find something you lost. Also, they will provide racks for your boxes. Convenient location, convenient hours.

Solana Beach Storage is the Best in town — I’ve checked them all. Storage is storage — A place to keep your stuff, but these guys are amazing. There are 4 storage places on the same block so I went to all of them to get the best deal. They’re all about the same price, so I just picked the one I liked the most. The others are fine, but they’re national chains and feel really corporate. Like the difference between your favorite Mexican place (like Fidel’s across the street) and Chevy’s. One is just more authentic. The best part is they let you use their truck for free AND they do most of the work! I didn’t think I’d need the truck (because you always underestimate how much junk you have), but it saved me several trips and they lend a hand loading, unloading, and packing everything in tight. Whenever I need to stop by they’re helpful. Give them a try. They’re the one on the corner.

This facility is one of the high end storage facilities I have been to yet! Nothing but helpful and courteous staff! The front desk is always polite and helpful in finding what you need! Having the extra help is worth the price!

Excellent customer service! The entire staff made the entire moving experience so stress-​free. From packing supplies to temporary storage. They helped me load everything into the free truck and into my temporary storage until my new place was ready. I recommend them to anyone needing storage. No need to shop around they offer fair rates and the most helpful and friendliest staff!
