BJ and Tamara are true professionals, and they care about their customers. They are just not in it to make a buck, they truly want you to be happy with your services. Yes, sometimes you do have to wait, but that’s because they both spend quality time with their customers. IF you want to go to a factory, then that’s up to you. Personally I want someone who will listen to what I want done, and make useful suggestions. I would never go anywhere else for my Botox. PS I have many friends who go to other places and end up being charged for Botox they don’t need. BJ will NEVER do that. 50 units of Botox in a 32 year old? Come on, that’s insane. If you want your Botox and Fillers done correctly, then go to BJ.

First of all, the practitioners dress like they are going to music festival rather than clinicians who put needles in patients’ faces. The gal I saw talked my ear off first for at least 20 minutes. Then she finally administered the botox. She was rough and it hurt. I’ve had many injections before and never experienced any pain until this time. A few days later I got massive bruising under both eyes which I had also never experienced before. When I went in to show her, instead of apologizing and offering me a coupon or free service, she negated that she did anything wrong, that she has NEVER caused bruising on anyone before, and then she proceeded to tell me that I might have liver problems because of the bruising! I was appalled. People make mistakes. That’s fine. When you inject needles into people’s faces, bruising might happen. I understand this. But to be defensive about it and put the blame on the patient and possible liver problems instead of merely apologizing is absurd. After my botox, I was made to wait at the front desk while she trained her new employee how to input my information. I will not go back. I like my botox pain free, done by a professionally dressed clinician, not a spaced out hippie dressed in yoga pants.

If you’re a groupon, beware!! My experience was — she is unprofessional and rude.
I have no idea about her service, but I did buy a groupon and was scheduled for 5pm. At 4pm I was called to move the appt to 5:30. I showed up at 5:15 and waited with another customer for 45 minutes until nearly 6pm when she finally showed. It was rainy and freezing, so thankfully the neighboring business took pity on us and offered to let us wait inside.
I was understandably unhappy since I rearranged by schedule to accommodate their change. I thought maybe she’d say, oh, I’m so sorry I was running late, or something along those lines… She said what do you want me to do? I said just an apology would be nice. Man, was she rude and unprofessional for a provider who just kept clients waiting. Ive never experienced someone like that.
She said she was doing us a favor to open up after hours, which I did not need or request… it was what they offered. So, she said are you a groupon? And, then told me I could get a refund… so that’s what I’m doing since I would’ve had to wait another 20 – 30.

I just starting receiving treatments with BJ and I am pleasantly surprised by her dedication to helping her clients achieve their aesthetic goals. I am in my mid 40s and I wanted a treatment that would give my skin a more refreshed and firmer appearance. In just a few visits, my skin looks healthier and firmer. BJ is such a sweetheart– she is always very accommodating and does a wonderful job. Be aware that she does occasionally run behind but I think this issue is because she is a perfectionist and enjoys communicating with her clients.

If you are looking for state of the art services with a provider who has the experience and knowledge acquired from working in one of the most intense surgical suites, you’ve found the right place. I started going to BJ for Botox and loved her bedside manner. She is easy to talk to, is caring, professional, whipsmart and funny! I was overwhelmed by all of the products and services available in order to «turn back time»…so much so that I was paralyzed and therefore didn’t do anything except Botox. But since I’ve been going to BJ we have talked a lot and she would share anecdotes of how her patients were changing the appearance of their problem areas with Exilis. BJ is not the type of person who is going to up-​sell you on crap just to pad her pocket book in fact, quite to the contrary… she actually is in this line of work because she cares about her clients and it is genuinely felt in all her interactions. She didn’t so much as sell me on Exilis as she allowed me to make my own conclusion, while earning my trust and building a relationship with me. I finally did my first session of Exilis this week and I am so overwhelmed at the results that I have seen in the past couple of days… I can’t imagine what my face will look like in a few weeks once the collagen has truly begun to remodel. And if these are the results I am seeing after one session? How amazing am I going to look after the next session. If you are like me, starting to see the effects of all that sun and fun from my teens in the 1980’s and you would like to appear «fresher» and more «relaxed» go see BJ at Mobile Momma. If you think you can’t afford it? You can. BJ always has specials running and trust me… if you can spend $ 5 a day on Starbucks? You can put that money towards a better looking you. You’re worth it. I would also like to add that Hector her office manager has been a welcome addition. Through his work with the online appointment system I have seen great improvement with knowing when your appointment is and less waiting times between appointments… the whole process is working seamlessly. Final tip: If you have a chance and can go to one of BJ’s happy hours where she goes over the latest and greatest in the industry, while you nosh on appetizers and sip adult beverages do it! This is a great intro to Mobile Momma and all she has to offer.

As a new patient, I had the pleasure of meeting BJ, owner of Momma’s Med Spa in Solana Beach. My first treatment was a hugh success performed by her, the most qualified, professional and personal experience one could only hope for. I highly recommend her and excited to learn more on my return back.

BJ was great the only down side was the wait which was not extensive only 25 minutes. She took the time to ask me what I was looking for and made recommendations on other concerns. I will go back

I started coming here about 6 months ago and I am so thankful I found Mobile Momma. BJ is very talented and she genuinely cares about her clients. She always takes her time with you no matter how busy she is. I never feel pressured and she is as honest and genuine as they come! I’m not sure why some people would prefer to go to a doctor/​plastic surgeon for things like fillers and lasers… when there are people like BJ that do this all day, every day. I would rather have someone who specializes in these treatments, rather than someone who «does it on the side.» BJ is as good as it gets. She is a board certified nurse practitioner with a masters degree and years of surgical nursing experience. She is down-​to-​earth, honest, has integrity, and most importantly, incredibly skilled.

I went there about a year a go when my former botox/​filler lady (who I saw for 6 years) retired. BJ did my botox and it was great. Shortly after seeing BJ, I fell ill of a terminal illness that forced me to go on steroids that caused me to get what they call «moon face». It was kind of depressing not only being sick but looking somewhat deformed too! I eventually opted to go off the steroids and my face started to go back to normal somewhat. That’s when I decided to go see Bj again but this time not only for botox but for some fillers in the same places I had gotten them from the previous lady.
To make a long story short, Bj did a great job on my botox but a terrible job on my fillers. I had to return to her 4 times after my initial visit with her for corrections (I never once in my 6 years with my previous lady ever had to return to her for any issues what so ever). Im a 38 year old woman, I really didn’t need much correcting. She initially under filled one side and then over filled the other side. When I returned to her the 4^th time to reverse the obvious overfilling of the right side of my mouth she was rude and extremely hurtful telling me that I needed to «lose weight»…that this was my «bad side, everyone has a bad side»…that my skin «folded wrong on that side»…that she put that filler in at my «request»…that I had «jowls on my face» and these were excuses as to why she had botched my face.
I had tears in my eyes as this woman was speaking to me so rudely, and I told her in the nicest way possible that she didn’t need to be «mean to me». She scowled at me and told me she wasn’t being mean but that I just «wasn’t listening» to her. I promptly repeated all the cruel thing’s she had said to me in hopes that I would not upset her so much that she wouldn’t fix my face.
I went to see her to enhance my face but my face looked better before I ever went to see her. Of the 4 times I went to see her, she never once followed up with me. I was never upset with her until she started insulting me for her mistakes. I was very understanding, telling her that I realized everyones faces are different. But then she started on the insults and my face is still not fixed. This is my face, are you kidding me? I’m now going to go pay a plastic surgeon to make me symmetrical again.
Don’t see this woman if she offers you FREE services, she will botch you and then take no responsibility for it while insulting you for her careless mistakes!

I recently relocated to the SD area and am forever thankful to have found Mobile Momma’s. BJ is amazing! She truly knows how to make you feel your best inside and out. I met Bj about five years ago. About a year and a half ago, I had a cervical diskectomy done on my neck and I am having some complications.
I consult Bj because she knows her stuff especially when you are talking about neck or back pain. She made a few recommendations about what I could do to help with the pain and it is working.
Her office is located on the second floor it’s got a cool vibe in there. The gal behind the desk was very helpful and nice.

I saw a groupon for Botox, and I’m Hispanic 58 years old and when I saw BJ’s name I bought it quick, did not even hesitate, I’ve known her now for ten years and I trust her so much that I was not planing on getting anything else, but I did… I got voluma as well… she use to give me injections on my back for my sciatic pain, and helped me allot, so of course I will trust her with my face… She is a woman of integrity, she knows what she’s doing and would never cheat anyone out of products. I had heard so many stories about how the product is diluted, I hesitated to do anything all these years, but now I’m in Botox heaven… OH AND SHE’S REASONABLE…
