Walked in at 8:30 on a Wednesday for the first time. The door was open, chef was in the kitchen, and people were dining on the patio. As we soaking in the layout, the«bouncer» in the corner asked me «can i help you» as if I walked into his living room. After resisting a sarcastic retort and contemplating the proper reply the guard dog barked off that«the last seating was at 8». Wow! I guess I’ll be taking my $ to Fred’s next time.

I had the best steak I’ve ever had here. The flavor combinations are creative and they are great at featuring in season produce.

A cute place to eat at with delicious food. For starters I had the clams which came with a rich sauce. Then the salmon I ordered was cooked perfectly. What I like most about the place was that the chef delivered the food for you. Very friendly service and to be honest it was probably one of the best meals I have had.

Came here on a Monday evening for an impromptu anniversary dinner. There were about 5 tables. Service was excellent. Food was really good. Our only complaint is this: prior to our food being served, the table next to us which had a great view of the river opened up and we asked if we could move over. The waitress said no. It was policy that once a table was assigned in the computer they couldn’t transfer the ticket. I totally get that when its a full house but in a mostly empty restaurant with only one waitress?! I was disappointed. That’s the only reason for 3 stars.

Just tried Roger’s on a whim this evening. Seated on the deck on a warm Spring night with a beautiful view of the river. It’s hard to say which was better, the service of the food. Both were outstanding! I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly. I would go far as to say it’s the best steak in town. My husband had the halibut and he was equally as pleased. The wait staff were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. They have a great selection and I will be back to try their rack of lamb next. I can bring along my vegetarian daughter, as they have lots of options for her as well.

My wife and I visited Roger’s Riverview Bistro for dinner last week and found a friendly greeting just inside the door. We were instantly escorted to outside seating on our request. It was fabulous weather and we wanted to be out in it. We desired seating close to the railing to enjoy the Snohomish river view and a quite setting. Once outside, the host planned to seat us in the middle of the deck at a 2 place setting table. We politely asked for the only open table next to the railing which was a 4 place setting. She obliged and seated us with a fantastic view facing up river and the Cascade mountains. My wife noted the server seemed to be a bit dismayed that we had been seated at a 4 place table but she let it go and provided us with very attentive service throughout our meal. We both ordered the special which was halibut, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus with green beans. I was able to find a quality local Washington Amber Ale brewed by Fish Tale called Vicious Circle and our evening was off to a pleasant beginning. When the plates arrived, the presentation was beautiful and soon we realized this was a true hidden gem in Snohomish. We enjoyed delightful flavors and were stunned at the quality and taste of our meal. With such perfection, we decided to go all in and have the dessert which was hot strawberry rhubarb pie and ice cream. Well we had to meet the chef and this point and stopped by the kitchen window to introduce ourselves to Roger and thank him for the special treat he had bestowed on us. We are both looking forward to our next evening out to Snohomish to enjoy another of Roger’s creations and great local beer.

I know I give five stars often, but seriously Roger’s is on point. Locally sourced which is near and dear to my heart, this was a big city experience in our adorable little quaint town that has as many taverns as churches. Jake and I ran with the specials of the night, Duck Confit and a Rack of Lamb. A swoon with every bite, no lie. Okay, let’s get to the nitty-gritty, what the hell is in those potatoes? I have never in my life tasted anything like them. I tried to coax an ingredient list out of our charming waitress, Kayla, but all I got out of her was something about cream cheese. There is a list of goodness she’s holding out on, I’m going to work on her. I think they should sell these by the gallon to go, they are now my favorite all time food item on the planet. We started with the Salmon Rillettes on toast points. A+ We ended with Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler with Whidbey Island Vanilla Ice Cream along with a French Press full of steaming hot coffee. A+. This is going to be a weekly cheat meal for us

We’ve been here once for a last-minute dinner out without kids. We loved the drinks which were original — not your typical«lemon drops» or house wine selections. We enjoyed our main courses and the fact that it was a cozy, small, atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and professional.

Rack of lamb has been on the menu recently and its succulent, perfectly prepared, and a huge serving. Served in a dijon mustard sauce that doesn’t overpower it. Bravo!

It took us over a year to finally eat at Rogers Riverview. We have heard so many good things about it and sorry that we waited as long as we did. When first arrived, we were greeted by the hostess and the owner himself, Roger. Very welcoming when we walked in. We were seated on the deck. It was not only a beautiful night for the deck and with the soft comfortable blankets that were available for each person, it was perfect. We started off with the clams, I was instantly in love! I could not get enough of the sauce that they were cooked in. Just delicious. They sent us an order of the pork sliders that are typically only served on Happy Hour and again were just delicious. For dinner, I had the chicken cordon bleu and my husband had the steak. We were very pleased with both along with the mashed potatoes that melt in your mouth The service was extremely friendly and efficient. We will for sure be back!

My second five star review this year. I am on a tear. We absolutely loved this little bistro. Snohomish is such an awesome little town filled with great shopping, restaurants, bars and music. What a great addition. A narrow, New York feeling place. They have a pretty simple yet complete menu. A lot of value on the wine list. They have made a conscious decision to focus on quality which is evidenced by their mixed drinks featuring only top shelf alcohol. Awesome starters, main menu and dessert menu. We started with a shared cheese fondue then my wife had the great salmon while I had the Pork Milanese, a butterflied pork loin with capers in a butter sauce. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were amazing. We finished with a chocolate Toblerone fondue with fresh blackberries, strawberries and homemade pound cake. Absolutely perfect. Service was on point, attentive and not rushed. The deck overlooking the river is so nice. We will be back every time we are in town.

We went on a Monday evening but it was still packed. We were told our party was too big for the patio(4 adults and one toddler), okay but they seated us by the patio, so we went with it. My mom and I split the Waldorf and my husband and dad had the Caesar salad. We also had some bruschetta type bread with delicious cheese and jam topping. All were great to start with. My folks had planked salmon with an artichoke sauce, my husband and I the rib-eye. All the entrees were good, but my steak was WAY overdone and the garlic reduction was bitter due to the over cooking. Staff were friendly and very accommodating for my young daughter. Standard kids menu available. I would have given 4 stars if the steak had been better prepared. All in all, we’d go back again.

We had seen this restaurant listed on Unilocal several months ago, but hadn’t been in until late April. Upon arrival, we were invited to try a table out on the enclosed back patio and were seated at a table with warm blankets among radiant heaters, classic, subtle lighting and a quiet atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for the end of a very hectic work week. We started our meal with Shannon’s Toast Points. My husband and I both loved them! Really delicious combination of flavors. Our entrees were the Chicken Cordon Blue and the Roasted Salmon. Both were excellent, beautifully prepared with nice sides. We finished with slices of Elizabeth’s Cheesecake and Kentucky Pecan Pie that were delightful! We’ve been back since our first visit and had the Bistro Burger which was great! All the food is very fresh and the warmth of the owners and staff have made this establishment a favorite!

We read all of the great reviews, so we decided to try it. The front of the restaurant is not what you’d expect; we drove right past it TWICE, thinking it was a coffee shop! The food was fabulous. Even the«little things» like the cherry tomatoes on the Caprese Salad were sparkling with flavor. Shannon, one of the owners(also our waitress) stopped by to check in on everything. Everything on the menu is from local growers, and she told us exactly where our food had come from. Even the coffee(which was also really good). Don’t go here for a «quick bite» — you will want to linger and savor each enticing flavor. My only«nit» is that they only accept credit card payments through a DIY card-swipe on their iPad, which I refused to use.(I never put my credit card information on my own iPad — so I am certainly not going to put it on someone else’s!) I will certainly, certainly go there again(but will bring cash).

I think for Snohomish this place is pretty good. We had corn chowder, salmon rilletes, and the pulled pork sandwich. Corn chowder and pork sandwich were excellent. The menu advertised the salmon on toast points but it was served on untoasted bread. Would have been better on toast. It was fishy and we would not order it again. Coleslaw was awful. Like, shudder worthy. Soup was also served with untoasted bread without butter or oil. Service was good until the end. We were given our bill in a cup and we took out our cash then laid it on the table. Waiter asked if we needed change and we said no, then he said«put the money in the cup» in such a condescending way that we just stared at each other. So, we put the money in the cup but we held back a couple bucks. Food was out fast and place has a nice ambiance. But will unlikely return. The food and the comment from the waiter wasn’t up to par with the price.
