Let me premise this review by saying the waitress we had was very sweet and attentive… Hubby & I decided to share the prime rib stroganoff… Spiral pasta cooked until it was mush, canned mushrooms, and canned mushroom soup. The prime rib, cut into cubes, was so chewy I had to discard mine in my napkin. Cabbage patch soup was great, and the waitress did not charge for the horrific stroganoff. This place desperately needs Richard Irvine!

I’m not sure that we’d return to the Cabbage Patch restaurant. Stopped by this afternoon for a Saturday lunch after walking through the cute shops in town. Our guest had dined here a few years ago and had fond memories of dining here. I’m sad to say that I won’t share that fondness. Our party of three was seated in the back dining room. Most of the tables were filled, resulting in a very loud dining experience. If your party contains senior citizens, you might want to keep that in mind. We ordered our lunches and inquired about the soups. The house soup is a cabbage chili. Our guest asked if there was a lot of cabbage in the soup and the reply was that there wasn’t a lot of cabbage and it was only small pieces. Our assumption was that this would similar to a minestrone soup. As the server brought our lunch, she lost balance of the serving tray resulting in our lunches falling to the floor and soup running down the wall. Luckily the soup only lightly splashed my shoes. The table and floor was quickly cleaned and the lunches were quickly remade. Our guest enjoyed her tomato soup, the corn beef sandwich wasn’t great. The meat was very chopped up and almost seemed to be ground. The cabbage chili was mostly large cabbage leaves and a few beans and tomatoes. I wasn’t impressed with the food or the service. I doubt that we’ll return. Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. We visit here regularly for brunch on the weekends. We always come sometime around 12−1pm. The last 4 visits have been ridiculously slow. Today we didn’t receive waters until we asked for some 15 minutes after being seated, we didn’t have our order taken for 25 minutes and and hour later we received food. I understand they are busy and it’s not the waiters fault but my frustration is they are ALWAYS under staffed. Please up the number of staff you have on weekends during bunch/lunch time so we keep coming back!

Came here after my friend had her bridal appointment earlier in the day. This is an old school 2 story home, that has been converted into a restaurant. I was surprised at how many tables/people can fit in there! They also have a really talented wait staff, going up and down the stairs with food orders is quite amazing. We went here on a Saturday and this place was packed. The wait wasn’t too bad to get a table. Once we were called, we were seating on the 2nd floor of the house/restaurant. The servers were really great and friendly. Although, it did take a while for the food to come to us(probably noticed it more because we were hungry, teetering into hangry lol). They brought us scones to eat prior to the food arriving — pretty delicious! Portion sizes are HUGE! You totally can split a plate with someone! I ordered the country fried steak, and it came with potatoes, 2 eggs, a slice of fruit and lots of gravy on top! Not bad for the price either! Overall, great spot to go to! I would totally come back here the next time i’m in Snohomish(whenever that will be lol).

Good Food, Good Price, The friendliest service in town, thanks to Pam! Crab Benedict($ 18.99) — Slightly over toasted muffin with fresh crab and one of the best hollandaise sauce. California Scramble($ 11.99) — Fresh ingredients, but the eggs are a bit hard, not airy or fluffy. Ask for the Mashed potatoes patty. Different and yummy. This quaint little restaurant is in a charming 1905 building. Food is solid, price is good and the service is exceptional!

The inside really looks nice… like you would be experiencing fine dining. There is a nice fireplace too. The service was quick and friendly. The food was mediocre… I ordered the chicken pot pie and the hubby did a meatloaf. These are standard comfort food. The pot pie was attractive on its face but lacked flavor. The unusually phyllo top crust was really hard and pot pie filling was very small. The meatloaf seemed meh too… and it came out from the kitchen within less than 10 minutes which makes these dishes suspect. The only real winner was the dessert. We tried this raspberry pie and it was delicious. I would return for the baked goods…

Breakfast starts with fresh scones, real butter, and homemade raspberry jam. Extras are available for a minimal charge. The Denver Omelet had abundant fresh and quality: green peppers, onions, ham and cheese with fresh diced tomatoes on top. I selected potato cakes as the side. The plate was full, serving was plentiful. Factually I left 2⁄3rd on plate due to being full. Definitely a large serving. My daughter selected a supposed lite choice, nicely priced. The pancake was bigger than her full sized plate! It was fluffy, good flavor. We’ve had various menu items. All were flavorful, abundant amounts, and fair priced. Service has been superb, with rapid refills on coffee and soda. Street parking is available at zero charge.

I recently attended a wedding where Cabbage Patch Restaurant & Catering was the caterer for a 110 guest wedding. The service was great! They kept the reception area clean and tidy. All of the servers were always smiling and happy to help and I also like that everyone looked very professional wearing black & white. The food was good; my favorite was the Penne Pasta and bread that was served with it! I would recommend this catering service!

Do not order the omelets. The menu says the omelets are three eggs. Mine was more like one egg, and they don’t come with toast or hash browns. When I complained to the waitress, she looked at me like — what am I supposed to do about it. If they don’t want to make three egg omelets, change the menu to describe what they are really making. Rip off! Will not go back again.

Don’t get the crab and shrimp salad! The crab was frozen and really watery, pretty gross. Did I mention it was almost $ 20. Way over priced. Also it was a Saturday night at 6:30 and there was only one other couple in sight. We should have seen that as a sign and went to one of the great resteraunts near by.

My wife and I stopped in here for breakfast and left delighted with our choice. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. The décor is charming and reminded me of an old farmhouse. Everything is mismatched which helps to add to the charm. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. There is a modest bar area. Outdoor seating is also offered in the warmer months. Happy Hour is offered Monday-Friday from 3:00 — 6:00pm. My wife and I each ordered a Bloody Mary for $ 7 each. Neither of us cared for our Mary and will not be ordering another one in the future. Complimentary scones were brought out with fresh raspberry jam for us to nibble on while we perused the menu. Light, delicate and delicious. For our breakfast choices, we chose the California Scramble for $ 11.99: three eggs scrambled with bacon, green onions, tomatoes and mixed cheese, topped with avocado, salsa and sour cream. We chose the Patch potatoes as the side: mashed potatoes with chives grilled to perfection. So good! Our second meal was the Chicken Chicken Fried Steak for $ 10.99: Served with Country gravy and two eggs any style. My wife chose her eggs scrambled with cheese(upcharge of $ 0.75 for the cheese). Her potatoes choice were the fried baby reds. We both liked the mashed potato cakes better. We look forward to coming back for a breakfast that truly feels home-cooked.

Mixed feelings about this restaurant. Been wanting to try it for such a long time, must say first impression was disappointing… When we first walked in, the atmosphere was very dated, lots of clutter. The dining room was very empty, which gave us an uneasy feeling, but we looked over the menu, and decided to give it a try anyways. The hostess was very friendly. We sat down, and when our waitress greeted us we were almost knocked out by awful smell of cigarette smoke. Not a good first impression… She was very nice, but had obviously just came from a smoke break, and the smell followed her around the room. It was not pleasant. My husbands prime rib was tough, and a little over cooked for a medium. My chicken cordon bleu was good. And we took pie to-go. Raspberry cream and coconut cream, both were good. We weren’t «wowed»… Don’t know that we’ll be hurrying back.

!Where the food is bad, but the service is worse! My friend and I had heard GREAT things about this place and we were so excited to check them out. The ONLY complaint we had ever heard was that they get busy, so make a reservation. So we make a reservation, and show up 10 minutes early. There is only one other party there. They seat us and ask if want any alcoholic drinks to start. We say no and peruse the menu. They come back twice asking about alcohol again and we order the spinach artichoke dip and bread for an appetizer. It comes and is delicious! We are so excited. And we are enjoying how quiet the restaurant comes. We both order the stroganoff thinking it will be so fantastic. What. A. Fail. First of all it describes their stroganoff as having TENDER beef and LOTS of mushrooms. What a joke. I had one mushroom in my dish. One slice of mushroom, not even a whole one. After delivering our entrees, our waitress disappears for about 20 minutes. Which wouldn’t be a big deal but we needed a couple things and there was NOONE in the main dining room at all. She finally walks out of the kitchen and we get her attention and ask for a side of sour cream(to te to make what tastes like BOXED hamburger helper taste a little better.) she walks to the outside of the kitchen and YELLS for sour cream. Multiple times. So unprofessional. So disappointing over all. Save your money and skip this restaurant! The menu says every dish comes with a scone until 5 pm, and we had heard amazing things about their scones. Our entrée arrived without scones(we ordered around 4) and when we asked about the scones we were told they only serve them til 3. Also their website says dinner is available at 4 but their menu says not til 5.

Was excited to try a local place in Snohomish, but ended up very unhappy. The rest of the family was happy and satisfied; however my plate I order was awful. The eggs or something in them taste like refrigeration. Not once did our server ask«how is everyone enjoying their food» not even after she took my plate still full of food. After leaving a kind but displeased note they still had the audacity to charge us for my meal… Needless to say, we wont be going back. Just my experience

Not good enough, but maybe someday this place could live up to its’ potential. Located in white people country(Snohomish), staffed by white people, patronized by white people(like me), the music in this place was totally out of character for the early 20th century décor. Music by white people like the Andrews Sisters, Bing Crosby, Tommy Dorsey, or even black people like Count Bassie or Louis Armstrong would have been appropriate. Instead, our senses were assaulted by vile, loathsome, utterly putrid musical detritus by white«artists”(!) like The Cranberries, Avril Lavigne, Phillip Phillips, and Dave Matthews. And it was too loud. This isn’t supposed to be a nightclub. I hope. Oh. The food. Well, I followed another Unilocal recommendation and went with the chicken pot pie, and it was very good. Kelli had the herb-encrusted beef tenderloin medallions which were acceptable. Her potatoes were overcooked as were both our steamed vegetables. The Cabbage Patch soup was good but probably could use some spicing up. Kind of bland, it would have more appeal if it were zesty. It was kind of… white… The orange smoothie I ordered was watery. The table was somewhat dirty and there was a lot of food on the floor under our feet. And lots of flies. White people like me don’t like flies. I didn’t much like Cabbage Patch. Neither did Kelli. Whether you’re white or black, for goodness sake’s stay the hell away from this place unless you can get the chicken pot pie to go.

We sat out on the front porch on a wonderful Saturday afternoon. We could have the dog with us, which is nice. We loved everything we ate and the service was fantastic. Putting this place on our usual spots to go. We live in Mill Creek and it took less than 20 mins to get there. Totally worth the drive. We spotted a full bar, so we’ll be back for dinner.

Yesterday my husband and I tried out this establishment for the first time for an early dinner which he order a steak Med-well but was done very well done. I did tell the young man about the the order which at the time I was almost done with my dinner. My husband did not want to start another steak over but you would have thought that the Waiter would have comped us for the steak or discounted our meal. Just not sure if I want to go back for dinner again. Lake Stevens teacher

Our company had their Christmas party in the upstairs banquet room. Appetizers were coconut prawns with sweet chile sauce, stuffed mushrooms, and artichoke and spinach spread with crostinis. They all tasted freshly made, served hot, with wondering flavor. For the main course my wife and I had prime rib with baked potato. Oh my goodness, the size of the prime rib looked over 16 ounces! It was served with horseradish sauce and au jous, with lots of sour cream and freshly made bacon bits. The flavor was wonderful. Desserts were tartlets, which looked like miniature pies. Flavors were cheese cake, lemon, peanut butter, and marion berry. My favorite was the cheesecake, my wife’s was the lemon. Service was timely and friendly, as our group was well taken care of. The owner even came up to check on us. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

This place is like walking into Grandma;s house and I dig it. I have been wanting to try it and finally got around to it. Complimentary scones and raspberry jam to start… so good. I had the prime rib dip and jojo’s. Honestly, the prime rib dip was sub par. The jojo’s are literally an entire potato cut up. They were pretty tasty. My mom ordered the chicken pot pie, the petite version. It was still HUGE and not your typical pot pie. Had all the filling and then a light crispy filo dough stacked on the top but not covering the entire thing. She said it was really good and it looked like it. Now on to the best part. the pie. I had the raspberry cream and OHMYGOSH… so good and creamy. The slices are huge so make sure you have room or take it to go, just don’t skip it I would love to come back and try more things on their menu, especially breakfast.
