Disgusting! Haven’t been there in 8 months and was excited to do all you can eat at the end when I finished my last roll a cockroach came from the sushi in front of me and I know the difference between and cockroach and water bug this was a cockroach and when there’s one there’s more, I I told the server and he came over smashed it bare hand and said my bad, who knows if he washed his hands after and went about his business. I then asked to speak to a manager and nacho had to call on his cell phone for the manager, I asked who was in charge and they couldn’t answer me. Disappointed!!! This was my favorite place not anymore. I am pissed and they said no charge for me and my wife. I wasn’t planning on paying after seeing something that. Will never go back… Zero stars! Boycott this place

Come here regularly. After tonight, don’t know if we will ever be back. Rice was soggy and falling apart. Worst of it all, the fish was down right NASTY! Plus, you feel obligated to finish everything so you don’t get charged extra. After choking the fish down, our chef makes us a signature roll, the tasted like imitation crab and mayo. Gross. To top it all off, mid way through eating, the waitress comes, takes my plate and walks away like nothing happen… I’ll tell you when I’m done eating, not the other way around fool… never coming back.

I used to come here all the time. Partly because my boyfriend lives in Simi Valley I live in Santa Clarita and always prefer Shogun sushi. It seems like they are always so busy and can not handle the busy crowd. They always seat us at the very first bar stools at the sushi bar where they keep all the bus tubs and constantly yell their orders instead of speaking softly? It’s quite rude and distracting when you’re trying to enjoy a night of sushi when the waitresses keep shouting in your ear. Not only that but the last few times I’ve gone I’ve gotten really bad service to the point where the sushi Chef doesn’t even look at me and I have to wave my hand just to order something. That is a major burn when you’re already spending close to $ 30 for sushi, and your shift doesn’t even want to give you the time of day. I’ve given Omega so many chances and after the last few times I don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon.

I am a fan of this sushi place. My wife and I both got combo meals which allowed us to try their sushi, sashimi, spicy tuna roll, beef teriyaki, and beef short ribs. It all tasted good, and it was affordable. We also tried their«This is Howie» roll and baked mussels which were quite tasty. In addition, we went to this restaurant at 9pm on a Saturday and the service was excellent. So in short, we liked this place and will return soon!

All you can eat, quality sushi. Made to order. Whether you come for lunch($ 20.95) or dinner($ 25.95) you will be filled to the brim with quality food. Wear your stretchy pants for this one. Omega sushi has been in town for about 5 years so everything still looks new and theyre staff is very attentive to your needs. Expect modern music on the radio and a mostly younger customer base. Overall, its definitly worth an afternoon meal. Why not 5 stars? Im pretty trivial so if i could change one thing, it would be their strict rules on their«all you can eat» menu. Although i do understand why their rules are needed. Check out my pictures for the all you can eat menu

I went there with a big group and received terrible service overall. They kept messing up our orders and we had to correct them constantly. They also force gratuity on the bill so don’t expect to get out without paying a fat tip.

The food was good but service was horrible. I would expect slow or non existent service from a place thats busy but when your the only table thats at the resturant and you get completly ignored after they take your order is when you know its bad. Basiclly our whole visit i was sitting with an empty glass of water we had to walk to the front and ask for a check and get my sons ice cream togo because we couldnt stand waiting any longer while the staff did nothing.

Incredibly nice staff but experience borderline terrifying. If you like very spicy sauce mixed in mushy fish and wrapped in seaweed and chowing down next to dudes with Tats on their heads staring you down, then, by all means, go here.

Soooo gross! If I could give this 0 stars I would. This is my first ever Unilocal review. I eat out all the time but this place grossed me out so bad that it compelled me to write bad review. My family and I went here for my and my sisters birthday to have the all you can eat. I normally stay far away from all you can eat sushi but we heard this place was good. Every single thing we ordered was disgusting and the service was very slow. The rolls were covered in sauce and had bad fish quality. They were sloppily made and fell apart when we tried to pick them up. They forgot the one California roll we ordered for our kids in the very beginning and then they charged us 18% gratuity after the nasty, slow meal. We all ran to the bathroom when we got home. Never Again!

They offer all you can eat except only at the bar. The place is usually packed during the nights with regulars. The chefs and waiters/waitresses all are very friendly and enjoyable. I recommend getting: Firecracker roll short ribs salmon teriyeki seaweed salad tempura fried rice krispy rice tempura green tea ice cream in sweet orange peels I always take out because I live not to far from the establishment, but occasionally I will dine in. If you are dinning with a large group of 10+ I don’t suggest it because the place is very popular during weekend nights. So glad they are open all day instead of the spilt times.

I go to Omega once a week and it’s because of Jon. He is a true artist. Not only is the sushi aesthetically pleasing, but it’s incredibly tasty and cost effective. The quality is akin to what you would find at Nobu.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. And amazingly fresh sushi. Favorites are the Firecracker Roll raw and the Caterpillar. We drive 15 miles to enjoy lunch here! Delicious!

Wish I could give this place a 0. I feel bad because one of the sushi chefs(jay) is a sweetheart and love the way he makes sushi. However, came here one night with my family and jay was unfortunately not there and got a different sushi chef. Worst service ever from the waitress. She was so rude and when we asked if one of the appetizers was coming because it was taking so long… She screamed at us from across the room and said«it’s coming!!!» I was in such disbelief. I’m not even to the worst of it yet. The sushi chef got my order wrong three times and kept giving me dishes I didn’t order and every time I clarified my order he would nod and act like he understood then would give me the wrong order again. Then when my order was actually right, the fish was half frozen and half soggy. I almost threw up. Finally the waitress accuses my family and I of sharing with each other for the all you can eat and threatens to charge us $ 40 extra. After talking to the manager, the sushi chef said it was a miscommunication and apologized but never once offered to compensate us for anything and they were extremely rude even when we were done paying the bill. Never coming here ever again. So unprofessional!!!

Personally my husband and I go here for the All You Can Eat sushi Bar. I don’t like sushi but they have great alternatives for me(sesame chicken, avocado rolls, rice, etc.) My husband typically likes the philly, rainbow, among others. Staff is friendly and sushi chefs are great. Our favorites are Nacho, Phil, and Jay. I would say the only negative would be sometimes they do run out of certain types of fish especially on Sundays and sometimes the wait for the bar can be really long. It would be great if they offered AYCE on certain table tops as well

Not bad! Came in for a late lunch with some friends and the place was pretty empty so we had decent service from the sushi chef. The AYCE menu has more than just sushi. they also offer teriyaki, gyoza and even baked mussels. I was a fan of the Omega hand roll — yum! The bar eventually filled up and there was only one sushi chef. AYCE lunch was $ 20.95 and totally worth it, as long as the they have enough chefs when there’s a full bar.

This is the first time I have ever came to this sushi restaurant and I came here with one of my good friends and let me tell you something, this restaurant is very good. I got to meet the owner Tom and he is a really nice guy. He really knows everything there is to know about all types of fish and different ways to prepare them. The sushi they have at this restaurant is very flavorful and the cuts of them were very delicious. The portions are also semi-big but that’s always a good thing because it fills you up in a good way. I highly recommend coming to the sushi restaurant because you will not be disappointed with the freshness of the fish as well as the texture of the tempura and the great conversation you will have with Tom the owner.

Can’t believe I had never heard of this place! Situated in what I believe to be an old Pizza Hut building(you know the ones. from the 70’s) is a sweet sushi joint with an all-you-can-eat deal. There is a decent sized parking lot. The building itself is in decent condition and kept pretty clean.(Nothing fancy by any stretch of the imagination.) Our server was very nice and accommodating despite our party of twelve. Unfortunately she was the only server that night so service was a tad bit slow on occasion. We got the $ 25 all-you-can-eat dinner. It includes one soda or tea. In a strange twist, you can order all you want but if you don’t finish your food they charge you extra! I suppose this is to prevent waste, which is a good thing. I’d just never seen that before. Of course, there is no take out so people don’t take home 20 rolls. The sushi was very, very good. Not the BEST I’ve ever had, but great quality and an incredible deal for the money. I’ll definitely return! 4 stars overall.
