Chuy’s Mesquite Broiler — Simi Valley East is located on the east end of Simi Valley, in the shadow of the beautiful Santa Susana Grade, and has long been a favorite hangout of area families and friends. Chuy’s Mesquite Broiler is famous for its friendly bartenders and servers who provide quick service. Our menu consists of charbroiled tri-tip and chicken plates, shrimp and Tex-Mex favorites.
Chuy’s is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, has video games for the kids, large portions on all meals, a salsa bar, a full bar and fantastic happy hour prices on both food and drinks, including our famous Five Star Margarita. The large kitchen is ideal for catering, which has made Chuy’s catering service in high demand.
From Monday Night Football to every NFL game every Sunday on flat screen TVs, Chuy’s is definitely the place to be for all your favorite sporting events. We offer an outdoor patio, which makes a great place for a cold drink on a nice warm day.
History
Established in 1978.
First opened by business partners Doug Duimovich and Mark Evenson, the restaurant was a big hit serving soon to become customer favorites like mesquite broiled tri-tip and chicken dinners. The restaurant was founded on great prices and large meals and continues that policy even today.
Both of the original founders of this great family establishment worked very hard to make the restaurant different than other places. They made it into the truly unique restaurant it is today.

Chuy’s takes pride in our community. As active members of this community, we give back by sponsoring local sports teams and schools and we have a tremendous fundraising program to help local groups and individuals who need help raising funds for a good cause.
