Susan did a fabulous job for our wedding. She was so easy (and fun!) to work with and she is a true artist. All I had to do was give her our invitation, describe my husband’s and my vision for simplicity, and she executed it 110%. The arrangements, bouquets, and chuppah were stunning and so elegant, and really fit well with our outdoor venue. Our guests complimented the flowers a lot, and I’m so glad our wonderful photographer captured them for posterity. Thanks a million Susan and you have a customer for big events for a lifetime!

My boss’ brother passed away and I needed to order a wreath on very, very short notice. Called Susan at 8am the next morning. She had the wreath designed and delivered by 10:30am as promised! Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the wreath was very small (for the price I paid) and they forgot to include the card, so no one knew who had sent them!

Susan did our wedding flowers and we were incredibly pleased. She was a pleasure to work with and really understood my vision (I was not a pink rose kinda bride). She was able to deliver a fabulous assortment of arrangements for our small/​medium sized budget. I would highly recommend Flowers by Susan to anyone.

I booked Susan for my wedding. My experience at first was great. She seemed to understand everything that I wanted and needed. The things I did want were pretty simply and I even supplied pictures of other floral arrangements that I wanted mine to look like. I had previously done my research on flowers since I was originally going to do the flowers on my own. I had wanted standard Calla Lilies in yellow and white and we signed the contract and everything was great. Two weeks before my wedding, after I had been trying to get a hold of her to verify times and delivery locations with her, I get an email from her saying sorry I am on vacation and I don’t get that great of reception but my distributor says yellow standard calla lilies don’t exist and that the pictures I had provided were photo-​shopped. Here is my issue why would you as a vendor sign a contract saying that you will supply a certain flower without doing research to make sure they «exist». My other issue is that when I did my research I found plenty of places that carried the non-​existent flowers. When I wrote her back I was extremely frustrated. We ended up meeting up to discuss things. We changed the standard yellow calla lilies to mini calla lilies. She didn’t change the price since she was going to have to use more than before even though they were a smaller flower. We went over everything else and lowered the count on centerpieces since we needed less tables than planned and still didn’t change the price but when I reminded her that I needed three pins placed on the ribbon on my bouquet and she wanted to charge me more. At that point I just made her aware that I needed less centerpieces and she said we were even. Even really!!! Then we will go to the day of my wedding. Now let me state that when we got the flowers they did look great, they weren’t exactly done how I had asked, but they did look great. My problem was that by the time I got to the reception my bouquet was falling apart. No body noticed but me but it was extremely annoying. My other issue was that the bridesmaids bouquets were extremely tiny. With all of this stated my experience was less then par. She never even called or email to make sure everything went ok!

For my wife’s birthday, I decided to have flowers sent to her since I was out of town. I contacted Susan the day before and within minutes it was apparent she knew her business really well. I placed my order and felt totally comfortable with leaving the design of the arrangement in her hands.
Fast forward to my wife’s birthday, I receive a call from her gushing over how AMAZING the flowers were. My wife has been around flowers all her life since her mother ran the floral department at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. It took her 15 minutes over the phone to describe all the detail that went into the arrangement. She sent me pictures and I was blown away. You cannot find anything like it with any company online.

I had the most wonderful experience with this place! I usually will opt to give my business to a small privately-​owned place when I can, and this is a perfect example why. I would have never gotten this kind of royal treatment at a place like 800 flowers, or Conroy’s.
I found the place online. I saw one rave review on Unilocal & a few in other spots – all which said that Susan was the best. I went onto her websight to see what kind of stuff she did. I know it sounds like over-​kill for a dozen roses, but I work a lot for a little money, so a dozen roses is a lot of money for me, and I want to make sure it’s money well-​spent. Based on her websight, it looks like she does primarily special events like weddings, so when I called, I was glad to find out that she was happy to make a small delivery to my wife for me.
My wife got them at work and said they were absolutely beautiful. She said they are fresh, healthy-​looking, & sure to last a long time (nothing worse than spending $ 75 on roses that look like they’ve been banished to Rose Hell within 2 days). And most importantly: every other woman in her office were raving about how beautiful they were, and how unique the arrangement was. Susan is an artist, and an excellent business woman. I could not be more pleased with my purchase!

Susan was able to capture what we envisioned for our daughters wedding in every way. She is a true professional with amazing creative talent. On time, easy to work with. Helpful and motivated. The wedding was offbeat and unique and her florals complemented everything spot on.
